We have used their services a few times in the past and, once again, they DID NOT disappoint. Craig Pickelman, and his staff were friendly, compassionate, kind, and professional from start to finish. They handled everything with sensitivity and ease needed during this difficult time for us. It was not easy for us the day Tyler helped us select a casket, the print work, provide information, etc. We never felt rushed, prodded, or like we were just the next in line. All the logistical items were clear, and his patience was never-ending with four sisters asking questions and making decisions. He explained everything in detail. He definitely took our feelings and emotions seriously and that was so very much appreciated and comforting. Wilson Miller helped us provide a funeral that was absolutely perfect for our dad, they not only showed great respect, and care throughout, but were so compassionate. They walked us through, or handled for us, details we didn't know were needed. I will quote my brother who is not from the Midland area, consequently, has no knowledge of Wilson Miller but said they are "Top Notch", from having someone stationed at the door for people coming and going, to making sure the coffee was filled at all times. If you need a funeral home to actually assist you during the tough time of losing your loved one and one that makes you feel like they sincerely care about what you are going through, this is definitely where you want to be. I highly recommend them and their chapel is lovely and clean. We cannot thank Craig, Tyler, Todd and the rest of their staff enough! They truly made a difference for our family during this whole process.

Our beloved brother, husband, father, uncle and grandfather passed away on a Saturday and we were able to meet with Mike on that Sunday to begin making arrangements. We feel Mike listened to us, guided us in decision making and was with us every step of the way. He kept things running smoothly through the Memorial service, the church service and luncheon, and the cemetery burial service. He even set up the military honors at graveside with the local American Legion. Much as we wish to never have the need for such a business, I am grateful that Ware-Smith-Woolever was there for us.

He even spent extra time with us afterwards and followed up with us weeks later to see how we were doing and to make sure we were okay. There is nothing more devastating than losing a child and still Bruce was able to put us at ease and gave us so much reassurance when we needed it most. Bruce is personable, and kind and has so much valuable knowledge. He was so understanding and is so well versed in grief - he was unbelievably helpful. In moments like these, this matters!!! This isn't just a job for him, he truly cares about people. He and his staff made sure my daughter's celebration of life service was truly as beautiful as she was/is! I would not go to anyone else for something as important as this. The funeral home itself is very nice and is clean and modern, which was why we initially chose it for our daughter. It is bright and doesn't feel dark and gloomy like many others do. From the bottom of our hearts - THANK YOU for your grace, kindness, compassion and knowledge. They ensured every need of ours was met, coordinating almost every detail from the visitation at the funeral home, to the funeral service at our church in Midland, to the transportation of the casket to Mom's cemetery in Alabama. Every detail was carried out to the very highest standards, and Bruce, Dave, and the rest of the Smith-Miner staff made us feel as if they were our own family.
