My wife and I stopped by for lunch today based on a recommendation from a friend who told us that the owners were from Philadelphia. We were so excited that we ordered the cheesesteak, wings, pizza and eggplant parm. The cheese steak was fantastic. The meat was chopped perfectly and they used Cooper Sharp American cheese and rolls from Liscio's Bakery that you can only get in the Philadelphia area. We haven't had a good cheesesteak in years. The pizza was also great as they used Grande mozzarella cheese and the crust was perfect. All ingredients were very fresh. Wow. The food was excellent and just like home. We grew up in Delaware County (Delco) Pennsylvania, right outside Philadelphia. It turns out that the owner is also from Delco and went to high school right down the road from where my wife lived. Small world. We will definitely be back and we highly recommend this restaurant. We found it to be the best Italian restaurant in the area. read more

Mediocre food; ordered the chicken parmesan with linguine. The pasta was swimming in sauce and was overcooked (to the point of almost being mushy). Authentic Italian pasta does not have excessive sauce! And while not a fan of "al dente," I would rather have it that way than mushy. Service was also average. Waitress was very nice but has more to learn. When I asked for a spoon to swirl the linguine, she brought a huge serving spoon. We had to flag her down a few times for some very basic items. Also, they should consider installing acoustic panels on the ceiling to reduce the noise, as it's very loud inside. read more

The place was busy on a Thursday night. Service was friendly and fast. Food was really really good. We tried the summer bianco pizza that had peaches, basil and prosciutto. Highly recommend. The Italian chopped salad was also really good, perfectly tossed in dressing and the tomato's were roasted. Calamari was alright. Probably one of the best restaurants I've been to around the lake and definitely the best Italian around. read more

Went to check this place on a date night. Place was packed. Recommend making a reservation. Sat at the bar and had the carne pizza and scallops. Both were excellent. The bartenders are excellent at making craft cocktails, something I didn't expect in six mile, service is excellent and all staff were friendly. Will be back soon. read more

Party of 4, seated right away, even though it was busy. Brought us water (no ice. Would have loved a little ice in the glass), while we looked over the menu. Ordered Calamari for our appetizer to share. WAY too salty. Waitress brought us a second one; it was excellent! Lasagna was pretty good, just lacked meat and very saucy. Shrimp with pasta had good flavor, but they served it in a deep style bowl so the pasta stuck together and clumped up. Very nice size shrimp in the dish. Overall everything was good but priced a little high for the area. Will go back and try their pizza next time. Great service and ambience. read more

Amazing soft opening We had a table reserved for 6 that quickly turned into 12. Our waitress handled it flawlessly. Every order was perfect, fast, and hot. The atmosphere is beautiful with great energy and an open kitchen. The food was outstanding. The pepperoni and mushroom pizzas were crisp and flavorful. The cacio e pepe was creamy with the right bite. The eggplant Parmesan was rich and delicious. And the Nutella donuts are a must order. They also have a full bar with great options for cocktails and wine. Great spot for groups or date night & watching sports. We look forward to making lots of fun memories with friends. The food was very good. It's great to have a new restaurant! One important piece of feedback, the front table is FAR TOO CLOSE to the hostess stand and front door. People constantly passing by and bumping into us. I mentioned it on my way out and the response was 'limited seating' - understandable but there HAS to be a better configuration. Perhaps put a small hightop and flip the table over to the right? Just saying I will not accept that table again. read more

While visiting Clemson we heard about Casa Lago and decided to try it out. We started with the wings that were fantastic. Then our table shared the Philly Cheesesteak (must try) and several pizzas. . The food exceeded our expectations and service was friendly and on point. I was equally impressed with the wine selection and our cocktails were well made (bourbon old fashioned and classic Negroni). The food is insanely good. This is a neighborhood gem, with a relaxed vibe, and a great bar scene, TVs for watching your games, and a menu of many favorite dishes. We are so happy to finally have a great restaurant in Six Mile! Everything we tried was fantastic. The meatballs were absolutely delicious, and the fig and prosciutto pizza was amazing. My husband ordered the steak and cheese, and honestly, we haven't had anything better anywhere else. The bartenders made me the best lemon drop martini I think I've ever had. I can't say enough about how wonderful this place is -- from the waitstaff to the bartenders, the food, and the atmosphere. Four of us went on a Friday night. The place was packed, good thing we had a reservation. We had the warm whipped ricotta with honey and it was excellent. If you like Burrata, you'll love it. We shared pepperoni and a Fungi pizzas and they too, were delicious! The crust is crispy on the outside and tender in the inside. The sauce has a good balance. Savory with a hint of sweetness. For dessert we all shared the Tiramisu which tasted just like the one we had in Italy! Our server was upbeat, friendly, and attentive which helped make for a great dining experience. Six Mile is in for a treat! We were fortunate to be invited to their soft opening to check everything out. First thing you will notice when you walk in is that the owners paid attention to every little detail in their design process. They had not only their customers, but their staff in mind when they planned the layout. It is intimate without having tables right up next to each other. Plenty of space to move around and not feel crowded. The bar is well stocked and the bartenders are on point. Now, the food. Only one complaint, I wanted to try everything on the menu! From appetizers to salads to pizzas and dessert....YUMMY! And the portion sizes are large, so there is no fear of walking away hungry. And a huge shoutout to the waitstaff because the place was cranking, and yet all the food came out correct, promptly, and piping hot.
