This was the absolute coldest environment I've ever stepped into and I feel guilty for letting my child stay here for the last 6 months. My daughter begged me NOT to take her there after only a month or two. I should've listened to her because it was 6 months too long! The teachers are not loving towards the children at all, the communication is lacking and they do not know how to handle strong minded kids. They tend to just focus on negative behavior instead of encouraging positive behavior. But the MAIN reason I withdrew her was because the teachers do NOT pay attention to what is going on in their classroom and have zero accountability for incidents. They are highly under staffed and do not watch the children closely AT ALL. My daughter would come home with multiple injuries and no incident report or notification. She had at least 6 bites in the toddler room including her first week there and she came home with 2 black eyes with no explanation as to how she got it. They actually asked me if she had it when I dropped her off that morning. Are you kidding me?? The director was just as guilty as the rest of the staff and never once saw /met the owner until after the check quit coming. I never bothered calling her back. Please do our research before enrolling here, I do NOT recommend it.

They deliver exceptional customer service and provide above average service. The childcare is top notch. My kids feel safe and enjoy going which they never did at our previous gym. The activities are engaging and and the environment is rich with love. I feel completely safe leaving my son who has multiple allergies. My oldest son, 8, enjoys his time in Spark. Any time there are renovations or closures of particular areas due to remodeling the members are given advance notice via email and signs posted in the facility. We have NEVER experienced any concerns with billing. There are monthly date nights and the cost is minimal. The activities planned are engaging and keep the little hands busy. The swimming area is clean and there are family changing areas. By far our favorite gym and we have been members at several.

A special shoutout to Ms. Jen, who taught both of our kids in the infant room. She is incredibly kind, caring, and nurturing, and she always greets our family by name. Darien in the infant room is also wonderful. She is so sweet and has taken the time to truly learn our daughter's personality. We also want to recognize Ms. Amy and Ms. Melissa at the front desk, who are always welcoming, patient, and understanding. They are so helpful during the morning drop-off rush. On those tougher mornings, their kindness and support make all the difference. Our son also loves Coach Baker, who teaches all the sports. Often when asked what his favorite part of his day was, it involves Coach Baker and the stickers he earned that day. We are so grateful for the love, support, and sense of community this preschool provides.

Before my son even…read morestepped foot on the building for Pre-K Ms. Tammy and I had phone calls to put my mind at ease. As a former daycare employee I had a lot of genuine concerns going in. It was unnecessary here to be concerned. My very shy little guy truly flourished in Pre-K. He was loved, loved on and cared for and about. He got sick 2x the entire school year and that was because he caught the flu from family, because Ms. Tammy keeps her school very clean and is very good about making sure friends aren't there to share germs! The teachers are fantastic! Not only did my son learn an impressive amount, he looked forward to seeing his teachers every day. He wanted them to come to our house for holidays. He was writing sentences by the end of the school year, and counting syllables and sounding out words. But none of it was ever stressful or difficult or frustrating so I know they truly incorporated learning through play. Parents were invited to a Halloween Party, a Christmas party and the most precious end of year Graduation celebration! We received photo albums at the end of the year with photos of the kids participating in activities throughout the year and I will cherish it forever. There was never a day when I felt uncomfortable or anxious about leaving him and that says a lot. Ms. Tammy is also very realistic about food the kids will eat and makes sure to have them on a routine of knowing just what they will have each day for lunch. The lunch is healthy and kid friendly and not a bunch of stuff kids just toss and sit in school hungry all day (which has been my experience in every school I've worked in). I taught Pre-K in several "fancy", extremely popular, high end chain schools...Ms. Tammy's school far exceeds any of them. We are so very sad to be leaving them but I will thank God every day for leading my family to theirs

This school truly has amazing teachers and maintains a very high standard of care and curriculum. I wholeheartedly recommend it to any parent looking for a place where their child will thrive. In the middle of October, my grandson started complainiing about a stomachache. We thought it was a virus. Two weeks later he still had a stomachache. I took him to the Doctor. After many tests, the Doctor said he tested positive for CRYPTOSPORIDIUM, which is a parasite found in dirty pools. It causes respiratory and gastrointestinal illness. Don't ignore your children's coughs and tummyaches. The last time he swam there was at the beginning on November, that was before we knew his test results. I noticed the whole area and pools had had a major cleaning, but we won't send him back there.

I don't know what's happened since May of 2015, but we will never allow our son to go back to this day care facility. Our son was four years old, had a speech latency, and on the tail end of potty training when he began going to the after school care program at this Discovery Point. All of his clothing, extra shoes, extra pull ups, and baby wipes were lost every single time he had an accident. We couldn't understand why he'd come home covered in dirt and mud, and have accidents every day. His demeanor had changed completely, and instead of being excited about school the next day he actually seemed sad, which is not like him. After questioning the staff on several occasions we realized that they weren't encouraging him to use the bathroom when he got off the bus after school, and they were keeping all of his belongings either under the front desk, or in the back of a closet where the teachers couldn't find them. After arriving one day early to pick him up I found him playing in the dirt on the playground while the other children played nearby on the play equipment. I asked him why he wasn't playing with the other children and didn't have to wait long before the other children informed me that he is not allowed to play on the playground, so they'd push him away. The teacher watching this group of 5 years and up confirmed this, had instructed the children to keep him off the equipment, and informed my husband and I that the teacher with the four year old class was over capacity so he was placed with the older children. My four year old son has a speech latency, and could not verbalize what he liked or disliked, let alone verbally defend himself, or tell us what was happening. We removed him after three months; in November and have yet to find any of the clothing or other supplies that we provided for him when we originally registered him. I have never seen Any Discovery Point run like this. We definitely noticed turn over in that three month period. I truly hope that no other child has to go through what our son did.
