We needed to swap out damaged panels and fully replace others for 70 feet of fencing, including one 4' wide single gate. The final result is a clean, professional install using the standard 4'H Aluminum Smooth Top - 3-Rail panel style, and it looks excellent. From start to finish, the experience was outstanding. Amanda was fantastic; she stayed in constant touch, gave clear information at every step, and kept everything wonderfully organized. She made what could have been a stressful project feel smooth and effortless. Carlos was equally impressive. He came out to personally determine the action plan and immediately gave me confidence that he would personally do a great job. He's extremely knowledgeable, listened carefully to what we needed, and followed through on everything he said he would do and then some! His crew worked efficiently and produced high-quality work. There are many fence companies out there, but Summit Fence was the only one that genuinely made me feel like they understood exactly what needed to happen and had the capability and care to do it properly. I was disappointed that I hadn't heard back from Jacob, so I left a review here expressing that disappointment. Almost immediately upon submitting my review, the owner responded. A short time later, Jacob called to explain why he hadn't gotten back to me and apologized for having dropped the ball. While I cannot speak to the quality of their work because I did not end up hiring them, I am changing my review because I feel like the owner and Jacob reaching out despite already having lost me as a customer shows integrity and care that is lacking in many contractor businesses these days. Similar to Jeff B.'s review, I had a similar experience. I was the first of my neighbors on both…read moresides of me to install a fence. After a number of years, the fence needed replacing and my neighbor used Apex to replace the fence between our yards. Not only did they move the fence further into my yard an not in line with the property line, but they also cut through my underground french drains and the irrigation pipe for my sprinkler system. I didn't know at the time because I wasn't using my sprinkler system and had shut the water off at the main but Apex never told my neighbor and never told me. Fast forward a few years, I'm having new landscaping put in and wanted to start using my sprinkler system only to discover that Apex had destroyed it when they installed the fence for my neighbor. They literally dug through the pipes, poured concrete over the sprinkler head and over and into the pipes and drains, and installed a post right on top of the head. When I called asking them to take responsibility and share in the liability (it cost me $680 to uninstall and reinstall a portion of the fence and then repair my sprinkler system that they broke), their response was, "our agreement was with your neighbor, we install the fence where the customer tells us to install it, it was a few years ago and we don't even know who the crew was, etc., etc.) basically telling me they weren't going to help out with the repairs of the sprinkler system they broke and what will subsequently be the cost of having to move the fence over to the real property line. Apparently, they don't have computer systems with historical records indicating who worked on each job, don't adhere to property lines, and have no issues destroying the neighbor of their customer's property! The kicker was, I was on the phone with a manager that started getting lippy with me so I asked to speak with an owner, he put me on pause and said he'd go see if they were available, and a minute later, they hung up on me. When I tried calling back, they wouldn't pick up! Nice, don't you just love companies with zero integrity!!!
