Terrible service and even worse customer service! I signed up with them in May. I've scheduled multiple pickups for medical waste and they never come on the scheduled date. The times they say they have been to the office is after hours or on days we are not open and have had our schedule from the beginning. They have been to the office once in the past 8 months and didn't pick up any waste when they came! Now they are refusing to let me cancel my contract without paying extra fees. It's also impossible to get ahold of anyone on the phone. All calls are routed to overseas agents that put in a ticket number and no one responds for weeks. read more

The Sales rep disappeared shortly after I signed up. They tried to deliver bins that I did not order. Canceled the pick-up request I ordered, instead of the extra bins. The company has poor communication, and the customer service does not communicate well enough with the local branches and hardly know what is going on. They seemed to have no idea how many bins I needed picked up, after I had to call and force someone to even pick them up at all. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I did not check "Quality" in this box, as they displayed none. I feel for the people out there on the trucks having to deal with the customers face to face. read more

Four-year contract? $405 buy-out fee? Please be warned that these people are unscrupulous. I would recommend going elsewhere.

I have been using stericycle since 2002 (over 10 years). They started to charge by weight even though my bin was half empty so a started to check 4 competitors in the area. I have been paying 4 times the rate of the highest of the 4. I called stericycle to complain. They said that it is too bad. I am locked in a contract for 5 years and there is now way to get out unless I paid them 11,000 for them to drop the contract. Apparently my contract auto renewed for 5 years in the fine print that was signed years ago. Stay away from this company. Go elsewhere. read more
