If you'd like to over pay for mediocre quality, you should shop here. Just a few items I looked to buy - bar stools $200 - $400, leather recliners $2,000+, bookshelf $1,000. There are cute pieces and maybe you would find that one perfect piece that would tie your room together buy you will overpay for it. read more

From Store to Door! Exceptional service from the moment we walked in to look and investigate to delivery of the sofa we purchased. Before I get into my review, it should be noted that I can be a bit of a "design star" (as my husband calls me) or furniture/sales person snob. I can't help it, I have expectations of knowledge (being a former furniture sales person) service, honesty and customer care. Sally was so helpful and knowledgeable about the lines offered, how the would fit in our current lifestyle and what to expect from what we choose. And wasn't fazed when we did a 180 on what we were thinking. As our new home comes together, we will be back at Bliss for more items! Sean and David were excellent delivery people. They took care with my home and checked out the space and any things that might impede them easily getting the sofa in the space. I had a great experience at Bliss home. I walked in one day just to look for rugs (a referral from the great ladies at Draped In Style). I was thrilled to see all the rug samples Bliss has on hand and lucky enough to meet Lee Farris. Over a two month period I was able to completely turn around my mishmash of a first floor. Lee worked with my existing large pieces and then accessorized with accent furniture, art, pillows, and of course rugs. I ended up hiring her to work with me at the house to help me with paint colors, fabric choices, all new lighting and even my bookshelf styling. Bliss was a great style fit for me, and Lee made the process enjoyable! read more

Waited 8 months for couches and an ottoman that were not what I ordered/expected. I was given highly exaggerated claims of tolerability and durability to be given low quality furniture I am having to replace after 1 year, almost same amount of time that I waited. On top of it I was HIGHLY encouraged to purchase a warranty from Servco which is the biggest joke of all. Don't waste your time. read more

WORST PLACE EVER. Purchased a very expensive leather chair. Once the chair arrived in the store, I was told I could only pick it up Monday-Friday from 10am-5pm, otherwise, they can deliver it for $80.00. This was never mentioned during the time of purchase. Most people work Monday-Friday so this is not always feasible to come pick it up during those very limited time frames. Unfortunately, I had to pay the delivery fee to have it delivered since I could not come pick it up during that time frame (they also won't help you lift/move the furniture if you come get it yourself). When it was delivered, there was no cover or protections on the chair, which means your item can easily be damaged during the transport/delivery. As soon as the delivery people left I noticed a few tears and scratches and IMMEDIATELY called the store to notify them. I was asked to take photos and email them to the manager and so that is what I did. I received a delayed response via email that they could give me $100 for the damages or order a new chair. Obviously, I wanted a new chair since these were tears in the leather. I was then told that since I didn't notify them of the damages when I accepted the delivery, that it would be a 25% restocking fee. THE DAMAGES WERE THEIR FAULT and I have to pay the restocking fee?!? Don't ever purchase anything from them. Worst customer service ever. read more

I'll start by saying I have done tones of furniture shopping in Louisville- we just bought a house and have had some serious space to fill. Bliss was by far our best experience. Specifically, Scott Cooksey there (though all the folks seem really nice). I worked with Scott to decorate a room in my home that was basically empty. He looked at photos and videos of the space and my home to help find furniture that was not only my style, but matched what the goal was for the room. He took time with us- we never felt rushed. They are dog lovers- I took my pup in both times, and everyone was kind to him. Scott never tried to over sell me or be pushy. He was very patient, and continues to be as we make decisions. I get the impression that he really understands how furniture is a big purchase for most folks, and he genuinely cares that you make the right choice both for your style and your finances. Props to Bliss Home for the beautiful showroom and for hiring a fun and knowledgable human such as Scott. read more

It has taken me over two years to finally find a furniture store but more importantly someone that could actually help me put together a few rooms in my house. I've hired decorators to come out and pay them an hourly fee all to never have any progress on next steps. I met Branson at Bliss Home and explained my situation and just assumed this time would be no different. Boy was I wrong! Branson followed up with me shortly and was able to come to my house and truly put together a plans. He emailed me ideas and we able to communicate during my business day to get things done! As I purchased furniture he would also help me figure out how to place it correctly. I still have more rooms to complete but in the between time I feel confident asking him for smaller design needs such as changing up my art or pillows and he gives the best effort regardless! He also checks in on me which I so appreciate! What I love about Bliss Home is their selection, quality and pricing. I never feel ignored when I go into the store. I have a beautiful new bedroom set that I couldn't be happier with and bedding! Also new art work over my couch that I would have never consider until Branson showed me what was possible. He put the pillows together as well and I'm just thrilled it. I usually don't take the time to write reviews but Branson exceeded my expectations and as long as he is in this business I plan stay with him on all my decorating/design/furniture needs. I would also like to give a shout out to the delivery team! Very nice and helpful! They didn't mind when I asked them to move a piece of furniture because I changed my mind after they placed it. I absolutely recommend Bliss Home. They not only have a wide variety of furniture, rugs, and decor, but more importantly, they have helpful staff. My first time at Bliss Home was a year ago when my wife and I stopped by to get ideas for furnishing our new home. Upon entering the store we were pleasantly greeted by an employee. The interior designer that greeted us was Lee Farris. Lee asked us what brought us in and offered us a few suggestions. From the brief introduction that we had with Lee, my wife and I could tell that she was a wealth of knowledge and decided to request her assistance in designing our home. She was most understanding of our tight budget and wanting to spread out purchases over time. Lee has assisted us with choosing an area rug, dining room chairs, kitchen stools, artwork, and coffee table over the past year and we couldn't be more pleased with how our house is becoming our home (cliche, I know). Although Bliss Home is tucked deep into Westport Village, it is definitely worth seeking out and don't forget to ask for Lee! read more
