Wow The owners let me with a smile and a cheerful hello and said have a look around which I did. This store is a beautiful little nook of garden pieces jewelry bags, HomeGoods that are handmade many of which are from local producers. I was so taken with the store I was forced to impulse shop. I'm so sad but I absolutely love the things that I purchased the price was about mid range not too bad and I will definitely be going back. They've created a hallway as a mock up of an outdoor patio and added items you'd place outside with indoor shelves and decor. Red Tree is a combination of useful, fun and quirky whether it's artwork, furniture, jewelry, candles, ornaments or other home decor. It's a great spot for yourself or to find a unique gift.

This store is also very accessible with ample parking, a ramp, and automatic doors. Not sure if we were there at shift change or what, but it was confusing that there 5 team members at the front for awhile and only 1 of them was ringing up the growing line of customers. When they got a second register open, things definitely started moving again and they were helpful and nice when it was my turn. Like I said, there might be a reason we don't know of, but other customers commented on it to me and I agree it was confusing, hence the 4/5.

Our old (10 years) motorized Roman shades from Hunter Douglas died (well, the motor of one of three…read moreshades gave it up). We have a bank of high (10') windows, so there are few options for us. And we wanted to avoid having to get on a ladder to swap out AA batteries. Draped in Style came up with an elegant solution that met our needs to a "T." Our salesperson, Jennifer, gave us any number of options, and we went with Roman shades of the same style and motorized as well. The shades arrived quicker than we expected. Because of a problem at the factory (where HD sent us components that obviously did not go together, but no one at that end caught it), our installer worked with Jennifer and us to resolve the issue and install our shades to our complete satisfaction (AND FOR LESS THAN WE PAID TEN YEARS AGO!--how often does that happen?). Very pleased!

However, my experience ended up being very frustrating and unsatisfying. I will refrain from saying who I dealt with but this lady was wonderful and knowledgeable at the initial consultation. However, after this I could never get an estimate from her. I called and texted many times, only to be told I would have it shortly along with apologies. After waiting over a month I finally gave up and ended up going with Spindle Top Draperies (Joyce) and receive excellent service from them. Update: I have updated my review more favorably after the owner called me and I received a written apology from the sales associate. I understand it was an oversight and I understand these things do happen. I appreciate both of these people reaching out to me.

This is the first outlet in Louisville and was originally announced as a temporary location; however, it must be doing well enough to have stayed in place. It took over the space vacated by the now bankrupt Steinmart. There is nothing fancy about this spot. It very much feels like a dumping site for furniture and is organized by type/room. It is a land of rejected, broken pieces. The signage attempts to excite you - 50% off or more - but then you flip the tag to find out it is still outrageously overpriced on top of being broken. The facility is large, and most workers were either at the front desk or helping people wedge items into their trucks. I appreciated watching the quiet nature of the staff today as a customer carried on a conversation with the customer service team via her cell phone. She was a lot to handle and you could tell they didn't want to escalate the situation. Apparently this spot has a following. Bring a large pocketbook ... and duct tape.
