Copying this review to Sterling Hearing Care AKA My Ear in connection with Sterling Hearing Center. I want an actual full account of my experience with Sterling Hearing Center (or whatever name they actually go by) on 19 mile and My Ear AKA Dr. Ron Djordjevic. I will post an update review as well.
At my father's appointment, I THOUGHT DR. RON DJORDJEVIC WAS A DOCTOR FILLED WITH COMPASSION AND KINDNESS (especially for the elderly).
UPON MY FATHER'S DEATH, I AM REALIZING HOW WRONG I MUST HAVE BEEN. We never got a chance to even pick up the hearing aids because after the appointment my father was hospitalized, in rehab, then hospitalized again for an extended period time until he died and yet Dr. Ron and/or his company are unwilling to work with the loan company to discharge the debt for DEVICES THAT WERE NEVER USED and NEVER PICKED UP. Instead the hearing aides were shipped to me in Oregon without my consent and without notifying me. Basically, FORCING ME TO TAKE OWNERSHIP of something a claim was filed on.
The loan company was more than willing to negotiate on my behalf and discharge the debt. They simply needed Dr. Ron (whom they referred to as the owner) to acknowledge the devices were never picked up and to cancel/refund the order. Instead, DR. RON AND/OR HIS COMPANY HAVE SHOWN AN UTTER LACK OF HEART OR COMPASSION and, like I said, forced me to take possession of hearing aids that I can't use nor easily sell.
I have no choice but to pursue this because my father didn't have life insurance, had no savings, no retirement, no property or anything of value to sell. He lived on a minimal income and had very bad credit so for the last 3.5 years prior to his death I had to put emergency and large expenses on my credit cards or take on loans such as for the hearing aids to help my dad prevent further rapid health decline and simply survive. His hearing was integral in my ability to care for him because phone calls were how we communicated. He was only 64 years old, I thought we had more time, so I had to protect his ears. I put myself on the line trying to provide for my dad, but my dad was slowly paying me back via monthly payments from his social security for these expenses. Obviously, he can't help me now, but Dr. Ron and/or his company can. I accept certain things are unable to be changed and that I will be paying for a very long time because I tried to help my dad, but this situation can be changed. DR RON AND/OR HIS COMPANY HAVE THE POWER TO CHANGE MY LIFE AND THEY ARE CHOOSING NOT TO.
What is truly disheartening is that upon my father's death I called Dr. Ron and explained that my dad died and asked if anything could be done to cancel the order that we never picked up and definitely no longer needed and he told me no. This is incredibly untrue. DR RON AND/OR HIS COMPANY HAVE THE POWER TO SHOW MERCY AND THEY ARE AGAIN CHOOSING NOT TO.
With a heavy heart,
