The quality of the goods draws it up to a 'meh.' I was looking for a walking stick. I saw one I liked. and tried it out. The gentleman said they could cut it down if needed. I was thinking it was barley tall enough but I tried it and decided I could use it for support. I walked to the counter to buy it. The woman and the man who run the place were talking. I was standing right there holding out the stick I know they saw me trying. The didn't look at me or ask me to hold on or 'we'll be right with you. The woman was talking about someone who called about getting some shoes and was upset about not having the color she wanted. The man was correcting the woman's conversation about the wares they had-why I have no idea. but again, neither looked at me or said a word. When the woman declared "I am just too busy to do anything about this." I had to bite my lip from saying "Doing what?" because it wasn't helping customers. I decided if they didn't want my custom, they could keep their stick and I'd keep my money. I put the stick back in the rack and walked out and didn't hear a word from them. Looking at other reviews here it is clear this is not an isolated occurrence, and their service or lack thereof is the worst thing, almost the defining thing, about the store and has been for the last few years. They do have nice stuff and some people are very happy but for the service? it seems like a crap shoot and ask yourself, do you really want to risk it?

I am always looking out for a deal! and I found one on poshmark, someone was selling a very used…read moreand horribly repainted Vintage Chanel Beige Double classic flap, for a steal. I scooped it up fast. When I received it it was in rough shape. They had repainted the bag everywhere and I mean everywhere - the grommets, the chain, on the turn lock. The paint job was also fading and rubbed off in certain spots, so the original color was poking through. On top of it all there was also pen marks on the inside flap. I debated where or not to send it in to get restored or just use it as is. I decided that since the bag is considered an investment piece then I needed to do everything I could to preserve it. I contacted Leather Surgeons. I uploaded pictures of the bag and they sent me a quote. I got the bag spa service about $600, but only because I added insurance. Then I waited, I sent it out and got confirmation that it was received 7/9/2026, and it came back yesterday 8/19/2026.(UPS signature required) I sent emails while waiting for the bag just to check up on the progress and LS got back to me every time. The wait was worthwhile. When I opened the box I couldn't believe how the bag looked. I was so happy with the bag. It literally looks brand new. I am so happy I decided to send the bag to Leather Surgeons, they are worth the hype. They have earned their reputation and I will be sending out two more bags to them. I would recommend their services to anyone. the pictures do not do the restoration justice
