Al Ledet was a pleasure to deal with and his experience was evident. And the quickest sale I've done.

Buyer beware. Be…read moreespecially cautious with their used car operation, specifically under used car manager LJ Miller. Based on my experience, there appears to be a pattern of saying whatever is necessary to move inventory, particularly vehicles that have been sitting on the lot for extended periods. In my case, the vehicle had a significant control arm issue that was obvious during the test drive. Their own salesperson, Annette Catoire, acknowledged the problem at the time. Even my 16-year-old daughter, who has no knowledge of cars, immediately noticed the excessive shaking and asked about it. Despite this, I was repeatedly assured, both verbally and in writing, that the issue would be addressed. I was provided a 6-month / 7,500-mile warranty to cover repairs within that time. However, just two days after delivery, they voided the warranty without justification or notification. Clearly an act of deception. This experience raises serious concerns about Courtesy's transparency, accountability, and the reliability of their commitments. I strongly encourage anyone considering a purchase to go elsewhere. This is to the point that I am bringing this to the State Attorney General's Office. Thankfully I have everything in writing.

Complaint / Review…read more Today was the second time I scheduled service at this location for the vehicle I purchased here, and once again the experience was extremely disappointing. The first time, I arrived 30 minutes early for my scheduled appointment, only to be told there was a 4-5 hour wait, even though I had booked ahead. I was then informed that an "appointment time" is simply a drop-off time, which was frustrating, but I let it go and got the service done elsewhere. Fast forward to today (12/4/25)--six months later. I scheduled a 7:30 AM appointment for an oil change, tire check, and an inspection of my Buick Envista's dash screen, which has been going black. I'm nearing 30,000 miles, so it's an important issue to address. I arrived at 6:45 AM, early again, and was literally the first one in line. I checked in, explained everything clearly, and took the shuttle to work. By 2:00 PM, after hearing nothing, I called to check on my vehicle. I was told that only the oil change had been completed. Amber then informed me that the vehicles of people who sit and wait get serviced first. So now, instead of being told it's a drop-off time, I'm being told wait-in customers get priority. Which one is it? The inconsistency alone is unprofessional. As a previous Buick owner, I can honestly say the service at this location has gone downhill tremendously. This is now the second time I have asked for the service manager and been told he was not in the building, or at least that's what I was told. I picked up my car and will not be returning to this location for service again. I will be contacting Buick directly regarding the issues with my screen as well as the unacceptable service I've experienced here--because it truly disappointing... If you want service don't go here....

However, he and all the others at Sterling Kia in Lafayette, La. bent over backwards to help me out and show me dozens of new Tellurides in several of the different trims! He took the time to go through all of the features and different options since I wasn't familiar with them. I was able to test drive two and was completely floored at how much room and power these mid-size SUVs have. They are VERY sharp looking too. The harsh reality is some things aren't meant to be, and I ended up getting a different vehicle elsewhere that fit my budget, but I can't thank Trevin and the crew enough for their patience and assistance. I did purchased a vehicle from Sterling Ford in Opelousas back in 2013 and was VERY impressed with the service, respect, and professionalism I was shown. If you are in the market for a Kia, look no further than Sterling Kia and give Trevin a hollar! Cheers! J.J.L.

Sterling was the closest KIA dealer to our location. Gabriel and the other members of the service department were awesome. They got us in quick and found the issue. Started the fix asap. And the dogs got a lot of love too!!

I've bought several new cars in my life and it has always been a nightmare. I came in prepped for a fight. There were some negotiations, certainly, but nothing overly unpleasant. I also expected to have a bunch of tacked on cost when we went to sign for it, as I have at another dealership in Lafayette, but we told them we didn't want the things they offered and that was that. On the service side, I came in to take care of an easy to fix recall, and got them to change the oil and rotate the tires while I was there. Whole thing took about an hour, which was less than I expected. I would buy a car here again and I will come back for service.

After everything I experienced, I will never return to or recommend this dealership. My experience with this dealership has been terrible. My transmission failed at only 20,000 miles, and ever since their service department worked on my car I've had ongoing problems. The service manager, Kelly, was rude, dismissive, and completely unwilling to take responsibility for the damage their team caused. Their service department is careless, unprofessional, and cannot be trusted. I will never purchase from this dealership again and strongly warn others not to waste their time or money here.

Additionally, I purchased a BMW, a Jeep and most recently a VW in Louisiana so that would make 3 Nissans and 3 others since 2006 for me. I am a car enthusiast and have owned 30+ cars in the last 30 years. Overall, I have always loved Nissan's but the quality is dwindling over the years. The vehicles that were made in Japan and sent to the USA have unfortunately always been more reliable than the USA built models. That aside, Nissan still gives some of the best bang for the buck on cars. The dealership is really the make it or break it and although I disagree with things like changing brake fluid and air filters that are clean but have 10k miles on them, the service department at Giles is trustworthy. They are very conservative in that "if it looks worn or is at the recommended mileage to change it then it needs to be changed". I know this is to minimize liability but as an engineer who has built race cars sometimes any logical thought is bypasses by mileage policies. With all that said, if your looking for a Nissan, they are the best dealer in the area. Come in prepared to negotiate and have your numbers worked out. If anyone can make "the deal you want" Giles can if they want to. Good luck!

Of course that kind of money would take a few days to clear. It was at the end of July and I was told the rebate of $1000 would be over by the first of the month so the salesman said that they would match the offer from Carmax. Well, being a trusting person I thought that's what they would do. With a fast talking financial person and quick signing of the paperwork all they gave me was trade-in value. I ended up losing over $1056. I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH GILES AGAIN. Shame on them for lying.
