Just had Steve Glass paint the exterior of our home, and it looks incredible! My wife and I took our time to find the colors we liked and wanted to make sure we found someone who would put the same amount of heart and energy into the process. He shows up on time, takes notes, and sends frequent communications as needed. He stayed in touch with me via text on weekdays and weekends. Finding good people who have a strong work ethic and fulfill their promises is hard to find these days, and Steve brings all of those to his work. He charges a good price, and you get everything and more for what you pay. He redid some of our trim, added weather strips to doors, and repainted our old wood gate to look brand new with a cherry finish and black bolts. The house painting itself is perfection! Steve was painting several houses in our neighborhood, so my husband asked him for his business card. Turned out he was the same painter who was recommended so often on the Ocotillo Friends group. I had already saved his name on my laptop so I recognized it right away. We decided to go ahead and get the painting done and it couldn't have been easier. He uses the quality paint recommended by our HOA. He can replace the wood in your side gate too. He did an excellent job. It took two days - one to power wash and do the gate and all the stucco repair and other prep, and one to paint. We were home for the painting and there was no smell and no need to leave. Complete disaster. Paint job was done 3 weeks ago and paint is already flaking and peeling. Prep work was a joke, paint all over patio and sidewalks, plants screens. Broken roof tiles, lights taken down and not put back up. Masking tape left on house and general trash not cleaned up. Asked several times for written warranty, never got it. When Steve came over to look at my complaints, he said because I was critical of his work he would not warranty it...... what???? Filing complaint with ROC, the bonding company and his insurance company for the damage done to my house. Stay away from Steve Glass Painting, unless you want to pay a premium price for a very unprofessional job. read more
