This business is wonderful, from the time I arrive until I leave. All of the receptionists and assistants glow with positivity and are so helpful and efficient. I really love having my teeth cared for by someone as knowledgeable and experienced as Dr. Kim. My hygienist is also amazing. Susie guided me to care for my teeth and gums even more efficiently. If I could choose between giving birth or going to the dentist, I would choose giving birth as that is how much fear I have of dentist appointments. My anxiety was through the roof on the drive here + I have the biggest fear coming here. It's not the pain per se but the psychological aspect of a dental office. I I receive a text from Christina that day before insisting that I'm in good hands which made me feel better. THE NEXT DAY: I get into the cold sterile uninviting office & I tell the lady behind the desk I'm here for my death sentence. Her robotic self didn't pick up on my fear of the dentist clearly, as she said "ok can I get your name & time?" Then the dental hygienist said, I need to remove all metal on my head for the x-ray. I told her I cant & the way she handled the situation made my anxiety go up (I felt so nervous already). I saw Dr Yoona Kim who made me feel so UNCOMFORTABLE & more nervous. Her personality was so awkard & not personable at all. Just staring at me the whole time, while I sitting in the seat so anxious & holding back tears. Her bed side manner is terrible !!! I could just never relax !! I was explaining how I have a fear of the drill (sound & the nasty burning smell that makes me sick to my stomach) - as I was explaining, she was VERY dismissive & showed no signs of empathy. I told her I preferred the water lase technology - which I learned this office doesn't have. This office is not "state of the art" as it claims on their website, as Dr. Yoona Kim said the water lase is "technology that is advanced" that we don't carry. This is why I HATE the dentist & avoid this place at all costs !!!!!!! Now as I'm sitting in the car typing up this review I'm in tears ugly crying. Leaving this stupid office with almost a $2K medical bill from these greedy folks. They don't care about patients here AT ALL.... you're just another number. I recently came here for a dental cleaning. I was expecting some work to be done on my teeth since it had been like three years since my last visit to a dentist. Sure enough, I had to have a deep cleaning and a cavity removed. In terms of the experience, I would give this place 5/5 stars. The deep cleaning was completely painless as they skillfully numbed my teeth. They even agreed to clean both sides of my teeth at my request even though it's typically a two day process. The staff is very nice and it's a very pleasant and relaxing environment. My issue is that I was charged $1495 for a deep cleaning alone. I was told my insurance only covered about $400. I found this odd since I have the high option through my insurance. Also, I have had this procedure done before and it only cost me a few hundred bucks out of pocket. I got some clarification from my insurance company about my bill. Turns out this office is out of network. Okay, I should have done a better job of researching and finding a place within network. That being said, even the insurance representative was shocked that I paid as much as I did for a deep cleaning. If you're looking for a dentist who provides great service, this place may be for you. Just keep in mind that depending on your insurance coverage and condition of your teeth, the visit may not be cheap. read more

I've been going to this practice for a year now. Every time I come in I'm treated kindly and efficiently. I've had some issues with my TMJ that had had knock on effects - in some cases I needed to be seen urgently and they always found time to see me asap. I've had different dentists work on me as well as different hygienists but all across the board everyone is consistently amazing. Also they have great bedside manners and explain things so well. The front team members are very welcoming as well and accommodating and have been patient with me when rescheduling and taking my updated information and insurance. It's not easy to find a place with great integrity and amazing healthcare providers so I feel so fortunate that I found this place. Definitely recommend! I've been a satisfied patient of Dr. Kim for years. Feeling a bit of discomfort in my jaw, I called for a follow up appt. and got one right away. Dr. Kim was unavailable, so I saw Dr. Yu. He was thoughtful, kind and clearly explained what he thought my issues was (and even had the office email me an article with further info). I had a deep cleaning done here and honestly it was a great experience. I was a little nervous going in, but the staff made me feel comfortable right away. They explained the whole process step-by-step and made sure I was numb before starting. I barely felt any pain, just some pressure. Winny (my hygienist) was very gentle and thorough, and I could already feel a difference in my gums after. No upselling or surprises with pricing either. I've been a patient here for years, and the hygienists have always been excellent. However, Dr. Steve Kim is consistently condescending. Instead of offering clear explanations and a plan for care, he questions me like I've done something wrong--asking things like "what happened?" while viewing my X-rays and speaking to me as if I was child. It's disrespectful, especially when the hygienist had already explained everything clearly. Frankly, he is one of the main reasons I dread coming here. Interactions with him feel demeaning and unnecessary. Additionally, the costs at this office are high even with insurance. I will not be coming back to this office. read more

I was looking for a dentist who wouldn't charge an arm and a leg. It's hard to find in California. Dr. Kim and Dr. Yu have both been great. I'm in the process of getting my first implant done. They both take the time to explain the process and patiently answer any questions. You'll walk in being greeted with a warm smile from Christina followed by an escort to your chair by the cheerful Sally who'll get you situated and let you know where you can find the best lechon if you need. Ask for Jasmine to be your dental assistant for any procedures. She rocks. On the way out, Amanda will take care of your followup appointments and smiles when she gently takes your credit card to the limit. Just kidding. Three visits and I remember them all.
