4/28/26 I purchased 63.24 in gas. I tapped at the pump. On 5/1 I noticed an extra charge on my card…read moreat the same time for 150.00. I went to the store and was told it was a preauthorization. I contacted my bank and was told it was actually taken from my account. I called Sheetz corporate office again on 5/14, (after going back to the store and once again being told it was a preauthorization), and I was told that it was an actual purchase on another pump at the same time I was pumping my gas. I was told the 150.00 charge was for diesel fuel. My truck takes flex. I find it convenient that the charge is for exactly 150.00, which is the amount of their preauthorization fee. Sheetz still has not refunded my money. I was told now they will need to review the cameras. Meanwhile, they have had my money for nearly 3 weeks. In a sense, I paid 214.00 for a tank of gas. I know gas is high right now, but this is ridiculous!

Just watched Charlotte skip asking 2 people ahead of me if they had an ID and her excuse was "well he's only getting *this* and he comes here often." She was EXTREMELY rude with an absolutely disgusting attitude! ID everyone every single time or not at all. Why not give everyone the convenience of skipping the ID? This will also be reported to BBB because this is obviously an ongoing issue. Is it race? We'll never know but treat every one the same!!!

Prices are a little bit higher than the big, mega-chain type of gas stations, but the people here are worth it. Stop by and strike up a conversation with any of the employees or regular customers. The staff historically, has always been very friendly and helpful in my personal experiences. There are days where I may go without stopping at other convenience marts, just because I know that I will be passing this Sheetz. Not every Sheetz is awesome, but this location is one of the good ones
