He came to our location in 20 degree weather because we wanted to get family shots in the snow. He was so accommodating and was hiking through the snow for hours just to make sure we had the right shots! Wow I cannot day enough good thing about Steve and his team! We were recommended him through a friend who had a destination in Hawaii. My husband & I got married in Temecula and loved his portfolio and style of pictures. From the very minute they got to our air bnb they knew exactly where to go and start. He had ribbons of our wedding colors with him and took object shots of my rings (not sure if that's what it's called). When I discovered Steve Torres Photography, I was really excited because his portfolio showcased beautiful work. He was very responsive to emails while sending me package information and answering questions I had. I met with him on Skype for a brief meeting to go over what I was looking for in a wedding photographer, he was incredibly friendly when we spoke and seemed like such a nice guy. He assured me he would contact me back with a final quote for our wedding, and he stated how excited he was to work with us. I expressed to my fiance how thrilled I was that we finally found a photographer we both liked - it was such a long and stressful process searching for someone who I felt captured the aesthetic that we were looking for. After a few days, we didn't hear from him so we contacted him again just as a friendly reminder. He responded saying he was getting ready to send it our way soon. A week had passed and still no word, so my fiance decided to call. He left a message, no response. After a few days he called again and left a message. No response was ever made via phone or email - he completely ghosted us. It was incredibly unprofessional of him. I'm giving him one star because he made the process very stressful for us and should never have gotten our hopes up by assuring us we would work together. If he didn't want to work with us, that's totally fine - but be professional and let people know instead of ghosting them during such a stressful time. In the end, we found an incredible photographer that was greater than we could have imagined. I would just say proceed with caution on this one, and have a backup. read more
