While my situation did not really present a case for him -- my employer's actions while thoughtless and dirty did not violate any employment terms -- he nonetheless was quick to get back to me, calling back the same day despite noting that he would be leaving for the holidays the next day (and thus, I can imagine, already pressed to wrap up his usual workload). I hired Lorman in 2021 to work on a case, and he dropped the ball. He did not work on the case starting around spring 2023, and almost seemed to have forgotten about it. About 17 invoices later, he suddenly seems quiet. He told me he would be working on the case. Of course I would expect that, as he is my attorney. Now, As the court date approaches, October 2023, he called me, 8-9 weeks out, and gave me excuses why he didn't work on the case, has no depositions, has a need for a continuance. At one point I paid him with a large check that took a few days to clear and he got paranoid and hostile and threatened to stop representing me on the spot but the check just took a few days to clear. He could not handle that. Another superlawyer with no integrity that comes close to matching the lack of integrity of Superior Court Judge Ann Jones who made "findings of fact" related to me violating laws that did not exist and claiming that a patient had to be hospitalized because I lowered her medication dose when six places in the record indicated she has not taken her medication for over two months. Duchrow didn't get that subtle point either. Another example of a designated superlawyer who did a belly flop while charging me an arm and a leg.
