I also had a minor wrist sprain which was healing: it was so minor that I could lift a 20 pound weight with no difficulty. He took my wrist in his hand and said "let me show you what you did wrong to hurt your wrist" and proceeded to jam my hand back hard. It hurt really bad. He looked at me in surprise and said, "I didn't mean to do that to you!" and then was at a loss for words, and put my hand down. To cut a long story short: I now cannot type, cannot pick up a *shirt*, and I'm looking at 2 month+ recovery that will require intensive physical therapy. I am even now unable to digest this whole episode and focus on recovery. it doesn't stop there in terms of problems with this doctor: - he charges a "copay" for each visit though my insurance tells me there is no co-pay on site. - when I returned hoping to pick up my x-ray, he of course denied that he had injured me, but was also *nasty*, and had the cheek to ask me to pay for an additional medical visit because "I had used his valuable time" in getting the x-ray from him! Save your body (and your mood and money): do not go to this doctor!

I quickly learned Dr. Morrison's approach went much deeper than nutrition and food plans. On the first session he asked if I wanted to learn just about my food intolerances/ allergies, or if I wanted to know about my body on a deeper organ level. So the journey began... The first few sessions were a whirlwind of medical information which I wish I could have recorded. During each one of my sessions, he manually tests my muscles reaction to foods and various vitamins my body needs/lacks. This is based on the concept that each individual muscle has an associated organ or gland, acupuncture meridian, reflex points, nutritional substance, nerve, tooth, and vertebrae. The first few sessions were information gathering (some organs/glands take priority according to how they show up in tests) by using a unique combination of applied kinesiology, chiropractic/rehabilitation techniques, eastern medicine and holistic wellness. He's been able to identify imbalances through muscle testing, in addition to blood, urine and saliva/hormone tests. We've confirmed a list of foods my body cannot tolerate, which is probably the most eye-opening experience for me. How did I go 30'something years ignoring what my body was telling me because of what I was eating?! The results speak like a laundry list: more energy, deeper sleep, mental sharpness, improved digestion, clearer skin, etc. Who knows what else is happening internally (until we retest again to compare against my benchmark), but I can definitely say I am now so much more in-tune with my body and the little signals it sends me. The receptionist explained today that I must paid $86 dollars first then on second visit will pay $6 since I am covered by Medicare, since I am retired from the government. They said they called the insurance and provided code. I asked what code was provided to the insurance and they refused to provide. I have excellent insurance which this doctor is in Network. I explained this is illegal to ask for money up front to a patient if I am covered. I called my insurance, and they agreed this is illegal to do if they are in network and have a contract with insurance. This is a warning to all those who make an appoinmnet to ask questions and if in doubt of their answer, contact your insurance. Doctors are not to ask for money upfront to a patient if they are in Network and have a contract, this is illegal! Very disappointed.
