This review has been sitting in my drafts since pre-Christmas. It's now February and doesn't appear…read moremy results have been uploaded into the system yet (Healthvana) which is really disappointing and reminded me I should have posted this earlier. AVOID COMING HERE FOR YOUR BOOSTER. I was thrilled to snag a day-of appointment online after searching high and low...snagged the earliest I could find, at 6:10pm, showed up 10min early...and did not leave the premises until 8:30pm. Honestly, the staff isn't bad, the facility is in decent condition, and I was surprised how chill the (demographically diverse) crowd was despite how long we had to wait. +1 star for that. But...they operate at a DMV-level of slow. Unapologetically. The line snaked out of the parking lot and moved slowly. Once checked-in, you step into another line. Then wait outside in the cold for what feels like an eternity, then get shuffled into a waiting room inside. Then another waiting room. Then wait outside medical rooms before whichever nurse became available called you in. An utter nightmare if you hate waiting around. Also I got the heebies right before my shot, paranoid about how "pro" they are here as the tech who guided me in didn't even have his mask on properly (nor covering his nose). Shout out to this one younger black gal (Lori?) who was really sweet and tried to be efficient, checking people in while they were still in the line. She was the best part of the experience. At least checking on us periodically even towards the tail end, and how she has that positive aura I have no idea. The experience made me sad and grateful. Found out this is a community healthcare center so they deal with high volume and probably low financial support. That usually correlates to low incentive for staff to be productive. Again this review is only based on the vaccine experience, just to be transparent about what to expect...

It had 4 large couches and 2 large flat screens that played slides of health facts and doctor recommendations. I wasn't very bored waiting there at all. I read everything on the tv the whole time and actually learned a lot lol THE WORKERS were super friendly and informative. They were patient and seemed like they genuinely enjoyed their jobs. MY DOCTOR, Dr. Chen -- I can't say enough good things. She was so personable and nonjudgmental. You can tell she loves what she does and stays learning. I told her everything that was going on, and she had a plan for everything and specialists to refer me to. I could tell she cared. I felt like I had a better grip on my health after I left. I don't know why I was so nervous to begin with. I really like this clinic! I hope each visit is just as good as today!

I wish I could give zero stars. I genuinely cannot find words strong enough to describe how…read moreunacceptable this experience was. I scheduled an appointment for a test, submitted all required paperwork, and provided my insurance information ahead of time. My very first question when calling the clinic was about cost, and I was explicitly told that my insurance was accepted. However, upon arriving for my appointment, I was informed that my insurance was not accepted and that I would need to pay $150 out of pocket. This information should have been clearly communicated from the beginning. The issue is not the amount--it's the misleading and inconsistent communication that appears designed to get patients into the office before disclosing unexpected charges. To make matters worse, while the staff was polite on the phone, the in-office experience was the complete opposite. The staff was rude, unhelpful, and repeatedly passed responsibility onto one another rather than taking ownership or attempting to resolve the issue. This business has serious communication and professionalism problems. Staff need proper training to ensure accurate information is given and that patients are treated with basic respect. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

They could care less about getting your basic personal information right, let alone addressing your health conditions and health concerns. I say this because medical bias is the reason Black and other marginalized communities do not get the care they need when they need it. The check-in system needs to be changed. This location's patient demographic is mostly elderly people. There's no waiting room, so the line easily runs out the door. And since elderly people need more time at check-in, you could be an hour early and still be late. And if you're late, even if it's not your fault, they won't accept you so you'll have to reschedule. The employees at check-in need to find a different career. The lady typed in my DOB incorrectly. Assuming I don't know Spanish, when her co-worker told her she was typing in my information wrong, the lady said she doesn't care in Spanish. Even when I gave her the information again, she never corrected it. The nurses and doctors should also find a new career. They made it very obvious they do not like to be questioned, and never corrected. If you are a patient, remember these doctors and nurses do NOT know you. If they're not doing anything other than looking at your face, they're not doing they're job. They will take their check and go to bed not thinking about you at all. Meanwhile you will be dealing with health issues they refused to provide any help or care for. When I tried to discuss my health concerns and medical records, the doctor and nurse displayed a lack of interest and concern in what I was telling them. They instead printed out a google result with a general explanation about a health condition they have done no NO TESTS OR EXAMS to confirm I even have. These are doctors and nurses by the way. One doctor kept asking me if I was eating a certain food, which I told her over and over again no and her answer? "Are you sure?" She wanted me to say yes so she wouldn't waste paper after working so hard to print out a googled article. I will not be surprised if people's health conditions worsened because of the incompetent and apathetic staff at this location. Please do not go to Optum. Find another hospital or clinic if you care about your health.

Love not having to call to make an appointment because it's hard for me to even find time to call. -EASY APP TO USE - the interface is user friendly and easy to use + understand. -appointment started on time! Dr. Ann was very kind and attentive -lobby was so clean and beautifully designed. I know this seems kind of superficial, but clinics and hospitals can make people feel anxious or uneasy. A well designed space is a great way to make someone feel more comfortable. This was only my first appointment and my membership is covered through work. So can't say I have much experience with billing and so forth. However, my first visit left a great impression on me.

Extremely disappointing follow-up - I would not recommend…read more I went to Meduri Care after a minor accident and honestly would have given them 5 stars when I walked out the door. Everyone I interacted with during the visit was nice, professional, and answered my questions. Unfortunately, that positive impression completely disappeared once I needed follow-up care. What happened afterward was incredibly frustrating: 1. I had to chase them down just to get my own X-rays: I was told I would receive my X-rays by the next day. That didn't happen. I called daily for three days trying to get them, and only after I submitted a written request did I finally receive them the following day. Patients shouldn't have to repeatedly call and escalate a basic request just to obtain their own medical records. 2. I was double billed: I had already paid up front, yet later received a payment request through the patient portal for twice the amount. While this was eventually resolved, it created completely unnecessary stress and anxiety. When you're already dealing with pain and uncertainty after an accident, the last thing you need is to suddenly wonder why you're being charged twice. 3. The biggest and most serious issue: the doctor hasn't followed up. I contacted the doctor over a week ago with questions about my X-rays and have received no response. I'm not asking for anything unreasonable. I want basic information about what I'm seeing on my X-rays, whether there is anything I should be concerned about, and what I'm supposed to do next. I'm still having some pain, and I recently moved to the area, so I don't even have an established doctor here to turn to. This is the reason I went to Meduri Care in the first place. I needed medical care and answers after an accident. Instead, I've been left trying to get answers on my own and repeatedly chasing the office for basic follow-up. At some point, being friendly during the initial appointment isn't enough. Medical care doesn't end when the patient walks out the door. The follow-up is arguably the most important part when someone is still experiencing symptoms and has questions about their X-rays. What started as a visit I was prepared to rate 5 stars has turned into an experience I would strongly hesitate to repeat. The delays, billing mistake, and especially the complete lack of response to my medical questions have destroyed my confidence in this office. I would not recommend this place.
