When I called this office and politely asked the MA for their name, I was met with attitude and a snarky "How may I help you?" simply for asking a basic question - he tone and unprofessionalism were what stood out. Upon further review, this doesn't appear to be an isolated incident--this type of attitude seems to be commonplace at this office. If multiple staff are responding this way, it suggests a larger issue with office stress levels, training, and customer service. Patients and caregivers deserve courtesy, transparency, and respect, not pushback for asking standard, reasonable questions.

But he does not make post op rounds and his office does not answer messages or respond to any inquiries, such as a request for a referral for physical therapy. At least he did not in our case. If you get him when he is on duty when you go into the ER for a back problem, good luck. Aside from that, I would recommend finding a specialist who makes the time to manage your case.

My husband scheduled our first two appointments as requested, one for just his husband and me and the other for my daughter. The office had to cancel the one for my husband and me, and that's where the problems started. Apparently, their scheduling system will only let them schedule appointments in predetermined pairs. They gave us dates that would work, but since they were in separate pairs, we couldn't schedule them. After a few of these options wouldn't work due to other appointments we already had scheduled, my husband was put on hold. He hung up when it seemed obvious they weren't going to get back to them. The receptionist was never able to explain why these appointments had to be in these predetermined pairs. My husband was told the appointments needed to be a minimum of 10 days apart, but since no appointments offered were, including the initial ones we were given, met that criteria, I can't see how that's the case.

She has been caring for our son since his diagnosis with Angelman Syndrome just before his 2nd birthday. He's 6 now and there is no one else that I trust more with his care. She listens to what you have to say, and answers all questions completely. She is easily accessable by email. Her new office is beautiful and comfortable and her office manager Ruth is awesome!
