However, I was disappointed to learn after the fact that the office only submitted my insurance as general coverage, rather than specifying the exact tooth that was treated. I didn't know that my insurance applied a 5-year waiting period on this tooth, and I ended up paying $860.00 out of pocket over the quote after the procedure that could have been avoided with proper pre-authorization. I wish the administrative team had been more thorough with the insurance process. A simple step -- verifying coverage for the specific tooth -- would have made a big financial difference. I hope they improve this part of their patient support, because the clinical care truly deserves high praise.

She noticed it in the Xray and took a picture of it to show DDS Lexi. Then she proceeded with my teeth cleaning with sonic scaler, polishing and fluoride treatment. She was able to remove my tarter without causing any pain or discomfort! Consulted with DDS Lexi and we agreed to a filling in two weeks to fix the issue. Treatment was good as usual.
