Dr. Kosten was the only dentist that actually listened to me and was able to get my issue fixed the same day! I was actually in tears when I left. A fraud who is in kahoots with her orthodontist pal. She did extensive work, then referred us to orthodontist. We paid for braces, only to return to Foley to gave her cap the teeth and therefore ruin the orthodontist work. She is an absolute money grabbing fraud. read more

The first time you go they lay out the red carpet. You get the massage chair, Netflix and probably the best Hygenist. The next visit, no massage chair, they dont even ask if you want to turn on Netflix and they give you a below average cleaning. Not to mention they tell you that there's all these problems with your teeth and its going to cost $12,000 out of pocket. But everytime you go the problems are never the same. One visit you need a root canal, the next its a crown, after that it's fillings. This place has the feel of a shady mechanic shop. You go in for an oil change, next thing you know they tell you it's time to rebuild the engine. read more

I'd give this office zero stars if I could. Hands down the worst dental experience in my entire life. 3 hours in a dental chair for a crown prep ending in a panic attack, no crown and the assistants talking about me like im not there as they walked me to the front. Then they had the audacity to try and schedule me for more dental work. I ended up going to another dentist who values patient care over massage chairs and Netflix. Not surprisingly, I didn't need near the work done that Dr Foley said I did. The only thing I got from Foleys is severe dental anxiety. I wouldn't send my worst enemy to this office. read more

We came to FDG after approximately 20 years at another dentist. Our daughter was first, her mouth was a mess and the orthodontist said she needed extractions and spacers to prep for braces. Dr. Foley was kind, painless, and empathetic and the procedure was super smooth. Since then, the rest of the family has switched over and while it feels at times like they are recommending a lot of work (always an alarm at a dentist) they have never asked me to do anything without showing me photos and x-rays first. On the one occasion when I was out of benefits, they let me cancel a procedure minutes before it was to begin without penalty so that I could avoid a large out-of-pocket expense. I get the sense that they are super prophylactic with their care and try to stay ahead of potential problems rather than simply waiting for pain. If that bothers you and seems pushy, remember that it is your mouth and your wallet so just talk to them before they do any work and make a long-term care plan that is budget friendly. They never seem to mind my skepticism and I've never felt forced into anything at this office. read more

By far one of the best dentists I have ever been. I have had to have a lot of work done in the past few years and after visiting multiple dentists and walking out in tears, I came to Foley Dental Group and have never felt more comfortable in a dentist office in my life. The office is very clean and private. Each room has a tv and the chairs massage. For when you have to sit in the chair for a long while, these things come in handy and make you a little more relaxed while getting work done. The staff is friendly and very knowledgable. I have had the pleasure of working with both Dr. Foley and Dr. Freeman and have no complaints about either. I do not have dental insurance but I was able to work with the Office Manager and she was able to give me recommedations on payment plans/saving cards to help me get my work done now rather than later. As for scheduling, you usually are better to make your appointments in advanced because they fill up very quickly. All in all, Foley Dental Group is a great dentist office and they come highly recommended by me. read more

After 35 years at the same dental practice, unfortunately, for several reasons I had to change. As I had heard good things about Foley & it was close to home, I made an apt with them. One of the worst mistakes of my life. According to them, I needed a re-do root canal, several crowns replaced, a tooth extracted & bone graft, 2 implants and braces!!! I was charged $235.00 for a Periodontist consult. I was told that if I didn't have the implants, that $180.00 would be refunded. I decided to wait on the implants, but do the extraction/bone graft. Originally the $180.00 was applied toward the extraction, which was fine & I actually had a balance due me. The day of the extraction, I was told that not only did I owe an additional $80.00 for anesthesia, that they had forgotten to charge me, but also the $180.00 because the other $180.00 was for the consult/xray. After I said no, I was told that the $180.00 would be refunded if I didn't have the implants, they said fine & that it would be waived. I paid the additional for the anesthesia and had the procedure. Three months later, I received a bill for the difference between what they owed me and the $180.00 saying payment was due immediately. This wasn't the 1st billing issue I'd had with this office either. They constantly misquoted a price or "forgot" to charge for a service/fee. Every time I walked in the office for an appt. they would tell me I owed more for some reason (never showed me a bill or a reason in writing). I terminated my relationship with this practice & have sought the opinions of 2 other reputable practices in the area. Both of these practices did the consults for free, including state of the art xrays, gum evaluations & biopsies for ca. Both practices have said that I do not need any more crowns replaced, that I don't need braces and if I hadn't let Foley's practice extract my tooth, I wouldn't need the implants either. read more

I switched to start seeing Dr. Foley a couple years ago and was soooooo glad I did! Her office is top notch! The building itself is newer and very nicely designed. The office staff is amazing and super, super nice! All the equipment is very hi-tech......even down to the massage chairs you sit in for cleanings. Appointments for cleanings are easy, although I usually schedule months in advance. Actual appointments with Dr. Foley herself for work to be done are usually quite a bit further out. Her practice seems to be growing quickly and I can understand why. She recently added another dentist to her practice as well. I haven't seen her yet, but have heard positive things. They use phone calls, like most offices do, to remind you of upcoming appointments. The only drawback is that they also use text messages and email as well. I think 3 reminders is a little excessive, especially for someone who has never missed an appointment. But if that's the worst thing, then I figure I can live with that! read more

I had been using the same dentist for 20 years and when they went out of business Foley dentist was recommended. The service I have received from Foley Dentist has been fantastic! The hygienist as well as both of the female Dentist helped me to understand why I have been having so many dental issues over the past several years. I now understand how gum disease and poor dental health affects the entire body. I used to be afraid and anxious when I had to go to the dentist but not anymore and best of all... The shots they give me to deaden my mouth before a procedure are basically painless! Foley dental is a high tech highly efficient office and the staff is very professional and nice. Dr. Foley has canceled on my husband's appointment many times, in fact, he just expects it now, and more times than not, he is correct when the phone rings around his visit time. Then they get him in. We then had to make appointments 6 months out for our next visit. When we had to cancel for a huge tournament our son was in over the time that we were scheduled to come in, the front desk proceeded to tell me that the next open appointment was 7 months out!!! Are you crazy?!? Then I asked if they have late hours after we get off work, I was told that people don't need late hours. Really - no one works here? I asked her to talk to Dr Foley and see if something could be worked out for the many people who actually do work here. I just called back and she said they have Sat hours. I said, Great! What openings do you have? She told me, "Oh, it looks like there's nothing till July." This is the first of October! Then she proceeds to tell me, "We are open two Saturdays now, but next year Dr Foley is going to just one Saturday." This makes absolutely no business sense at all. I also didn't like when we went in to get cleanings that the hygienist barely got started and Dr Foley came in to check. In all the other quality dentists offices we've been to, the dentist always waits till the hygienist is finished to check their work and make sure everything looks good. You can put nice paint on the walls, but without good customer service with business hours we are going to one of the several Dentists that think good customer service is important. read more

Becky our hygienist went above and beyond. Our daughter is 6 and had the best experience here. Both Dr Foley and Dr Freeman are exceptional dentists. Also this office supports numerous community events. We have taken Vivian to another dentist in Collinsville. She was seen for about 10 min. This visit was so much more productive and professional. I didn't know they saw kids until I asked. There is no better practice anywhere. I highly recommend this office. read more

I had to switch dentists because mine no longer took my insurance and this place is not far from where I live (19 minutes away) and I had heard really good things about them. I was excited to find a new dentist and Foley came recommended. I call up and make my appointment and was scheduled for 4 months out, as expected, not a big deal. I got a call yesterday stating they had an appointment open up for today, AWESOME!! I stated that I did not see anything come through in regards to new patient forms etc and am told that there is a link online that will take me to the page to fill that out or I can just get there 15 minutes early for my appointment and fill it out then. GREAT! As soon as I hang up, I get a voicemail asking for this information. I call back (putting work on hold), phone rings, get a voicemail. I go online to complete last night to complete the forms, get a blank popup. No big deal, I will complete this before the appointment. Well then today comes, now they are texting my phone asking for the same information. Sorry, not a fan of this. Why am I told to just come early and now my phone is blowing up asking for this information? Why not just transfer me to someone else or take this information over the phone with the appointment instead of just calling and texting after? If collecting standard information is this hard and time consuming, what else can I expect? read more
