On my first visit, there was some confusion on their end for why I was there so they were not prepared to fill my cavity. Ok, sure, some confusion and delay is fine and not worth getting up in arms over. And while I found the mix-up irritating (especially because I had to go during work hours so I lost an hour of pay) I did find the dentist to be pleasant and helpful. He even called later to assure us the appointment wouldn't cost us anything and apologized for the confusion. We rescheduled for two weeks out. On my second visit, however, the staff was not as friendly. I immediately felt like I was being given the cold shoulder. The dentist was not pleasant and his attitude was off putting. He made a comment about the fact that my mom had called to ask about the cost of the appointment as if that was somehow bad that my mom had called instead of me. He did not really explain what cavity he was/wasn't going to fill (as there was some debate over that) and then told me they didn't have laughing gas for the procedure. Instead of offering an alternative or trying to work with me, he suggested I should get a different dentist and said that my last dentist, who used laughing gas often, "catered to cowards." While he said that didn't mean he was calling me a coward, it really felt like that's what he meant. I wasted 1.5 hours in this dentist office, not to mention time in between appointments, only to not get my cavity filled and now I have to find a new dentist. I lost 1.5 hours worth of pay at work for this guy to belittle me. I really feel personally offended by this experience and would not recommend.

I figured it was a quick stop, but the everyone working the booth was extremely nice and we talked for a few minutes. At that time I wasn't really thinking of switching my dentist if 15 plus years but come time to schedule our families 6 month check up I remembered the nice ladies I met at the booth and figured why not try someone new. We didn't keep going back to our dentist because he was the "best" it was convenience and routine. So anyway I scheduled us all with Dr. Arthur. My husband and son went first, they came home and said they liked the office and the dentist. My daughter and I went the following week. I couldn't have been happier!! The staff is great and so is Dr. Arthur!!! Highly recommended!!

He's got a lot of experience, and it's certainly true that there is no substitute for experience. He recently put a bridge in for me - I didn't know what to expect, and he explained everything in great deal. He's also got a great personality and a great sense of humor. Save your money from this scam of a practice. One of the worst experiences. I went to My Dentist a year ago for a root canal. Instead of pulling the tooth, they said they wanted to try the root canal instead (more money for them). I went along with it, after the first operation, there was pain and tenderness, but that's expected. They stopped and said we can continue another time. I went along with it again. After three visits...I was getting fed up. They finally finished the first part of the canal. Now I had to go for a crown, but they wait until the end of the third visit to send me to a gum doctor to extend my gum line because there wasn't enough tooth, because they didn't pull it! But it's okay, because they were going to make more money. The gum doctor said it would be 6 months until I could be seen. I am now out $657. My insurance benefits were depleted, and I now only have a temporary. I went to a new dentist today, they say that the My Dentist, left old tissue in the socket which is now causing an infection. Please please please, do not go to this dentist. Save your money from this scam of a practice.

this practice absolutely ruined my wife's dental health and they have refused to fix all of the…read moreissues she had with dr.ridge there who is no longer with the group. we have contacted the attorney general of n.j. to help us. they may have competent dentists there now, but remember the dentist is only as good as her bosses and they told us they would fix the problems at our expense. they have admitted that my wife has issues but refuse to fix them without charging her. remember, if indeed you end up having any negative issues, you may get the cold shoulder like my wife has gotten. you have been warned.
