I'll start by saying my last dentist pulled an extra tooth without my permission. There was nothing wrong with, and I was shaking and crying the entire time. Not once did he try to comfort me or ask if I were okay. So I was sceptical to have anymore work done anywhere until I was referred to Dr. Rasner's Office. They are Amazing! All of them. Dr. Rasner was kind, and patient. Very respectful and spoke with me and my husband like he had all the time in the world. My husband and I had to talk over procedures we wanted done because my fear was the pain during and after getting crowns, also the cost since we don't have dental. Michelle was able to give us a quote and a payment schedule that met our needs and budget and Dr. Rasner assured us that he specializes in sedation dentistry and I would feel no pain. We made our appointment and he was right! I was conscious for the entire procedure but heavily sedated, to the point that I wasn't allowed to drive myself home. Some dentists will say, "oh yeah you can drive yourself home afterwards" and you will also feel discomfort and grogginess but not at this office, and the gas s FREE! I knew what was going on the entire time but felt nothing. I mean NOTHING. There were 2 people in the procedure room at all times and sometimes 3. Including the specialist who created the crowns and yes they create the temporaries that day, you leave with a new smile that day. The permanent crowns are made in the USA when other dentists outsource their business. The crowns are ready when your gums heal in 4-6 weeks. If your procedure requires some gum removal (mine did). The pictures here are my teeth before and my teeth after. The after picture are my temporaries. BTW I ate soup that evening, and was given Tylenol with codine from the pharmacy that I didn't need. The next day my husband and I ate brunch at a restaurant The Turning Point and I ate chicken breast, bacon, toast, and hash browns. I was also given a homeopathic gel to speed recovery. The next day I ate spaghetti with meat sauce and mushrooms. I was careful not to crunch anything like apples or anything hard and used the rest of my mouth if I felt uncertain. I will update the pictures with the permanent crowns after Nov 12, 2019. I also want to say the waiting room is inviting, and cozy the staff were amazing. From the receptionist to the technicians, my visits are always relaxing and stress free. I recommend this office to everyone. It doesn't hurt that he teaches dentistry and is up to date on all the new technologies. Not to mention people come from all over the country so he can fix their dental problems. read more

Dr. Rasner provides dental procedures with superb attention to detail with the comfort of the patient always at the forefront. If you are fearful patient, put your worries behind you. Not only does he offer free sedation, but the whole experiance is zen the moment you walk into his state of the art practice. Though most offices boast the latest technology in their practices, Dr. Rasner goes beyond protocol and the "bells and whistles". the first office visit my wife had was terrible. she was there over 2hours for a cleaning and checkup.they told her she needed over 10k worth of work and went head and had her prefinanced for that work. she received and was subjected to a person with very poor phone manners. this person was very rude and unprofessional there was no need for her to be treated this way and when she asked for the staff members name, she was hung up on. we will not be using this dentist again.they have no respect for their patients or decent manners. they are just money hungry and care about the bottom line and the people they are supposedly helping. read more

I received the suburban magazine with Steven L. Rasner's write up and thought he would be a good fit for my husband to visit. I called the Bridgeton Office and asked about insurance coverage and she referrEd me to the Vineland office to inquire. They only accept Signa in -network at the Bridgeton location but will take insurances that have out of network coverage. We have Aetna. I spoke to Jerry who was inconsiderate and down right rude. She wouldn't listen to me or run my insurance number after I told her how I was referred by the other office who said they only take Signa in network but she believes Aetna would cover out of network. Jerry said, "that's usually the patient's responsibility " then left me on hold forever. When she can back she accused me of mentioning 3 different insurance companies, one being Signa which her co-worker in Bridgeton told me they accepted. I told her she was not listening to anything I said and then she started talking over me and saying I wasn't listening to her. She was very combative and argumentative from the very beginning. At that point I had to hang up because it was obvious I wasn't getting anywhere and this is the last place I would have my husband visit with staff so rude and nasty like Jerry. read more

Would rate lower if possible. Dropped out of my insurance network without notifying us. I found out when I received my EOB with $385 not paid. They overcharged for a device and won't supply a refund, even after my insurance company called them. Tara from Bridgeton office lied to my insurance company. Dr. Rasner would not correct dental work which he did and I was not happy with. He claims that he wants the patient to be totally happy and will do anything to make this so. Well he did not and would not even respond to me, he had an assistant respond. I paid a great deal of money for white teeth and they are not what I asked for and just about everytime I went in I stated the same. Most of his staff are very wonderful and they are pleasant but I guess if you don't agree with the work that is done you can either pay again or don't bother. I now have three different shades that he did in my mouth with caps. Lots of money spent with results not satisfactory. I am very disappointed. I had high hopes. read more

I have a mortal fear of dentists but I was having severe issues which would include gum work, extractions, new teeth, etc. and so I went to see Dr Rasner who specializes in sedation dentistry. From the minute I walked into the Vineland NJ office I knew I was in the right place. The staff is so kind, caring and supportive and made me feel very comfortable. Dr Rasner is just AMAZING. He was very patient and friendly and explained all the work I would need done. Michelle, the office manager, was very helpful in getting financing etc. I elected to use oral sedation, which was great. I also stayed at the great Hampton inn in Vineland when needed. After five oral surgeries, I have a beautiful new smile, healthy teeth and gums and renewed confidence and self-esteem. Do yourself a favor and go see Dr Rasner and you will be very glad you did!!! read more
