Stay away, very dishonest. He did a filling a couple of years ago and he stated cavity came back and schedule another visit two weeks out. revisited after two weeks and he stated it was discoloration not cavity and never even looked at my teeth but charged insurance over $250 for nothing done. When back a few months ago, he claim it was cavity all along and he said it was innocent cavity but now it's getting closer to nerve. Very dishonest and fraudulent. read more

Wow.... on 7/7/21 this Dr. Steven Lee and his team worked more like a used car dealership. After the initial X-rays, he evaluated that one of my molars was fractured and needed to be extracted. OK I have one of the best dental insurance plan. Then he left the room and the receptionist came in. They wanted me to pay an additional $560+ for the one tooth extraction plus the insurance payment. They tried to tell me that the insurance does not cover much at all. We know that the insurance company and dentists in-network already agreed on how much they will be charged and paid. I asked Dr Lee to double check with the insurance regarding the payment. They never bothered to get back to me even I called them a week later to follow up. Prior to this, I was never charged additionally by other dentists even some were out of network dentists. Dr. Lee loves to double dipping: Charging both insurance and patient. I am greatly doubtful of his morale and professionalism. He may be subject to insurance fraud investigation. Today I was thankful to have a real oral surgeon to do the tooth extraction. It went so smooth, painless and NO additional/ NO unreasonable fee was requested. Good bye Dr. Lee. Shame on you too!! read more

Dr. Lee has been my dentist for years. He is a phenomenal dentist and overall wonderful person. Dr. Lee truly cares about your mouth and overall health. He is very professional and knowledgable. When I first began coming to Dr. Lee, I was terrified of dentist, nonetheless, needles. I have to say, if you're afraid of dentist, or just don't enjoy going to them, Dr. Lee is your guy! He walks you through step by step of what he is going to do before he does it. People think I'm crazy when I say I love going to the dentist. He makes it an enjoyable experience and something to look forward too. Honestly, who doesn't love that feeling of leaving the dentist office after a cleaning?! Dr. Lee's office is immaculate and he has a wonderful staff. Fatima is a sweetheart! She is excellent and always keeps you updated on your upcoming appointments and scheduling. Dr. Lee also has a wonderful dental hygienist. I have to say, thanks to her, I am a chronic flosser. The location of Dr. Lee's office is in a wonderful neighborhood and has tons of available parking. Dr Lee is a really great/caring dentist and he also has a wonderful dental team! I have visited Dr.Lee about 8 times last year and this year for regular cleaning, root canal, deep cleaning and crown. I am very satisfied with all the services the team provided! I am a very picky customer and had shopped around several other dentists before choosing Leeman Dental. The reason is: people here are not only professional but also very nice, I feel they are all my personal friends who are always willing to listen and help. Some great details: - They provided 100% ceramic crown and fiber-glass post as I don't like any metal - They fully respect that I don't like anesthesia and reduce it as long as possible - Dr Lee patiently persuaded me to do deep cleaning which has proven very rewarding because it solved my 10 years' gum-bleeding issue - The cost and payment are also very clear. This was my first appointment with Dr. Lee. I'd like to commend his entire staff. The woman over the phone continued to work with me on rescheduling my appointment multiple times saying "as long as I respected her 24 hour cancellation policy, she'd move my appointment around all summer until I could nail one down." That's profound. His assistants were very nice and personable. Dr. Lee was professional and informative. He took time with me to answer every question and went the extra yard to show me photos and explain things to me. On top of all this, it was the most precise and pain free cleaning I've ever had. I was so impressed and pleased with this dentist. He is in Great Neck - a beautiful, clean new office and cordial staff. He was so careful, conscientious, and professional with my visit - checking everything and most important he cared about preventive medicine. Dr. Lee is as personable as he is professional. I cracked a tooth over the weekend, so of course my regular dentist is on vacation until next week. I called Dr. Lee first thing on Monday morning, and he found time for me that afternoon. Whether or not he had to squeeze me in, he gave no hint of being rushed. Indeed, while he examined me, we talked about all sorts of other things. He explained just what he was going to do, and why, before he did it, and he took care of my tooth efficiently and effectively. He recommended that I see my regular dentist as soon as I can to follow up, but I have a feeling that I might have a new regular dentist now.
