This is our family dentist. It's a large office with several dentists, dental hygienists and other dental professionals. So as you can imagine you will find all your dental needs at this office. We find that the doctors at this office do a really good job with cavities, teeth cleaning, etc. I've had another barbaric dentist from another town over leave me with a bad bite from a terrible cavity fill and this office was able to help me with correcting that. My family gets regular dental check-ups here and cleanings. The office is very large, clean, neat and even has it's own finance department to help you understand the costs that you will incur which I really like this way nothing is a surprise. They give you the option to decide if you can afford the services and/or arrange some kind of payment option. The only thing I don't like about the office is that the doctor's are always trying to up sell another service or recommending something that may not be of urgency. If they could they would probably keep us visiting them on a regular basis. Otherwise we really like this dental office and the doctors. A++ read more

Recently moved to the area and got a coupon for a "comprehensive exam, Cleaning and X - Rays (as needed)" for $75. When I called to schedule an appointment, I mentioned I didn't need the x-rays assuming that it wouldn't matter anyway ("as needed"). Was told that the coupon would not be honored and I would have to pay $95 for the cleaning. Oh. Okay...I schedule the appointment anyway. A day goes by. I think about it. Why would I have to pay more for doing less? I called back and explained that I didn't need the x-rays and that it didn't make sense to charge me more for doing less than what is listed on the coupon. The receptionist Lauretta insisted I would need to do the x-rays as part of the comprehensive exam. I explained again- no cavities ever, no need for X-rays. Don't want the radiation. She wouldn't budge- no x-rays no coupon...so I cancelled my appointment. Was genuinely surprised that they wouldn't want a new customer simply because I didn't want more radiation blasted at me unnecessarily. No cavities, no pain, no need. Disappointing interaction and if they're that sketchy about honoring the coupon, I wouldn't want to deal with them anyway. Go figure. read more

I have been using Dr Stern & his staff for at least 25 years. I have never been less than fully satisfied, the service is always professional & 1st class. I live in Bergen County in find it well worth the nearly 2 hour drive roundtrip. read more

I went there for a root canal. I informed one of the dental assistant that I came with x-rays, she said don't worry we wont charge you for the x-rays. When I met the Endodontist, he informed me that he can't do the root canal because he doesn't have a microscope. I was given a referral too an Endodontist that does have a microscope. When i contacted my insurance company, I was informed that I was charged a consultation fee and for the x-rays. I believe that I should not have been charged this consultation fee because all he did was look at the xray and said i don't have the equipment to do this and i should not have ben charged for x-rays because was told I would not be charged. read more

I was referred to this practice for a root canal. My appointment went well, no issues. Nothing was said except that I had decay and it was removed and she was able to salvage the tooth. When I went to my general dentist to be fitted for a crown, I was informed that the endodontist at Windsor Dental had performed a root canal on the tooth next to the one that should of been done. I have written to Dr. Stern, contacted the BBB, which in turn contacted Dr. Stern. 6 weeks later he has not had the decency to contact either me or BBB. I would definitely not recommend this dental practice. Now I have to find another endodontist and go through the process all over again. read more

I tried this office because my dental insurance coverage changed and they were listed as a (local) provider. I had used this office years ago when my son was a minor and in need of an oral surgeon and I had no issues back then, I was able to get on a payment plan for the costs not covered by our (then) insurance and the work was completed efficiently and without any problems so I felt comfortable enough to give them a try now for myself. I was completely satisfied with the hygenist and, although the doctor was only in the room for a split second after she was done to make sure there were no concerns, I had no complaints. Prior to my appointment, at my request, the receptionist called to verify my insurance coverage and go over what was covered/included, etc. I only had a cleaning, exam and x-rays done (that was all I needed) and I was seen on time as scheduled so I cannot comment on anything other than those services, but everyone was nice, helpful and professional and I didn't have any concerns at all. read more

I have been going to new windsor dental for over 6 yrs, i've had major work done and they always treated me great, they worked with me in every step, never had any issues, i love Dr.Stern, if it wasn't for him being so nice and understanding, i would never go, i have such anxieties bout dentist that i would make myself sick but they treated me great, calmed my nerves and i even bring my 6 yr old grandson and he cant wait to get his 6 month check ups, not many children like going, but they were so great with my grandson, they spent time with him ,especially for the very first visit and had him count his teeth, showed him how to brush, even to this day, they spend time with my grandson, he never wants to leave,lol, WHICH IN MY BOOK, I THINK IS GREAT!!!! read more
