I asked her office to have Kristi call me as she was my actual agent. It took her 3 days to return my call knowing that she had an unhappy customer. I asked other insurance agents if this was an industry standard and they said no. When I told her that I didn't think it was right for State Farm to keep my money when I was requesting a refund (having never been late with a paym't and ALWAYS paying for the entire 6-month policy) and I told her I was going to take my business somewhere else, she LAUGHED at me. I quickly took both my home and auto elsewhere...and the icing on the cake is that I was able to save a combined $1k on my policies (with better coverage)!

The women in the office would not call me back. Gaston himself promised to call me several times to resolve the matter and provide customer service, this went on for 5 months and still to this day I have never spoken to Gaston. Complete disaster of an office 2) The various ladies in the office were of no help and did not call back. They blamed the 4 price increases over the 5 months were "COMPUTER ERROR." Admitted State Farm was wrong and DEMANDED I PAY OR THEY WOULD "CANCEL MY POLICY IN 2 DAYS." Being concerned, I called the 1-800 number and spoke to a manager who stated what they told me is NOT TRUE and my policy would not cancel. Basically they used an illegal industry tactic and lied to me. Very condescending on the phone and of no assistance. 3) Use lame excuses to justify why my policy was raised 4 times in 5 months without any accidents or claims. In April 2025-only one month later, I spoke to Marcus at Allstate and reduced one of three vehicles on my policy to liability only, which dropped my premium from $435 to $276/month. So when I get a bill for $428, I was confused. I called and spoke with Gisela, who, again, ran the changes but she came up with $280 and sent me back to Marcus, who never called me back. Called again and spoke to Tony-she was the ONLY helpful and knowledgeable agent I spoke with. She assured me the changes were in the system and she said she sent a message to the billing department to see what was going on. No response. Called AGAIN and spoke to Marcus again and he said he would get with billing and call me back. No call back. (So this has been three weeks by now.) Called again and spoke to Gisela. Again with the run around. In this conversation, I found out they included two different add-ons that I never requested. What?! How does that even happen without my consent? So Gisela removed the add-ons and assured me the changes were in their system even though the Allstate app on my phone still reflects a $428 premium. I called the very next day and spoke to Gisela again because the updates weren't on the app. She said the only thing left to do (since I have spoken to all the reps in the office) is to escalate the issue to her manager because there is nothing they (agents) can do even though they tried. Seriously? STILL no call back from Gisela or the manager regarding the escalation 7 days later. Here it is May and the problem STILL hasn't been fixed. I have never dealt with such poor customer service in my life. I called my previous State Farm agent yesterday and opened another policy with that office. Yes, I pay $50 more, but sometimes it's true you get what you pay for. Less isn't always better. I called Allstate and canceled that policy this morning with Marcus. Let's see if he can make it happen. I have my doubts. Unfortunately, I have no faith in the Christian Vien agency. I will be checking every day for a cancellation update. I hope anyone signing with this agency has a better experience than I.

I was a customer for years, but they were never able to even come close to the auto rate offered by Progressive, but then when an Allstate bundle beat what I was paying for auto at Progressive and homeowners through Suzanne Brown / Texan, that made me decide to leave both of them. My exit was handled very badly, my cancellation document, which I signed and have a copy of, was never sent to the insurer, so weeks later I had to call the insurer directly and get that taken care of myself. But this wasn't the only time, many times in the past I could never get my agent to call me back. I guess she was off chasing big commercial real estate deals, and we private homeowners are too small to care about? Well, the relationship is over now, and I'm glad to have EVERYTHING at one place, where I can look at it one one phone app.
