Now when they called, they told me they figured out what the problem was, without pulling it into the bay - so they didn't even charge me. Any other place would have charged me even if they didn't pull it into the bay and just took minutes out of their day to look at it. Even though transmission work, isn't their bread and butter, their honesty speaks for itself, as well as not trying to nickel-and-dime. They will definitely be my primary spot for mechanical repairs in the future.

They had no idea about my background and could have easily quoted me anything for the project I discussed with them--something I've unfortunately seen happen at other shops where estimates come in at double the book rate, or more! That wasn't the case here. They gave me a fair, straightforward quote based on book time and took the time to explain exactly how they would approach the work.
