Those include 1.) the best installed turnkey price for a new white Amarr 16'x7' Classica #CL3000 3-panel frosted window garage door with new Liftmaster 87504-267 belt drive garage door opener, 2.) bid responsiveness, and 3.) the customer service by the owner of AAA, Scott B. and his installation crew. After a downpayment to get the door ordered from Amarr, we waited around four weeks for the scheduled installation...which took place on the afternoon of Sept 12th. AAA's Tyler, Stockton, and Cash all hustled on the demolition of our 19+ year "contractor special" 4-panel door and vintage Genie screw-drive opener (which was OK, but the lights-on feature was broken and there were no safety devices on the door). That and the hockey puck dents in the door from the boys 15 years ago. The new door went up slower as all of the rails, spring shaft, springs, and associated hardware had to be brand new (due to the three-panel design). Then a fair amount of time was spent adjusting and aligning the door so that it was 'just right'. Tyler then gave me a grand tour of the new door, inside and outside controls, and maintenance (lubrication points.) Scott B, the owner of AAA even came by to check on the installation and installed the inside and exterior keypads himself. Overall, my wife and I are very pleased with AAA and the quality of the Amarr door...not to mention a tier 1 installation by Tyler, Stockton, and Cash who hustled and provided a fair amount of comic relief during the 3-hour installation process. My only complaint is that the Liftmaster #87504-267 opener - with its built-in security camera and cellphone app called "MyQ" is only free for 30 days (camera support.) After that, a subscription with Liftmaster (Chamberlain) is required. Bummer. But the camera-to-cellphone interface works great and is a nice security and peace-of-mind feature. It was a pleasure working with Scott B throughout the process and we are very pleased with the results. Five Stars for sales, installation, value, and support! Thanks, guys!

During 10+ years and several projects working with Amigo, it is my opinion that what Amigo does WELL is snow removal and lawn mowing/blowing. 5 stars for lawn mowing/blowing, leaf raking/removal, weed-whacking (NOT to be confused with weed pulling or actual gardening) with a fleet of 6-8 guys and a massive mower. They make lots of noise but are done and gone in less than 10 minutes. 5 stars also for early, consistent snow removal! What Amigo does not do well is Remodel, Construction, Painting. Our experience was no firm start date on our remodel. A bunch of guys just showed up one morning unannounced with a microwave over one shoulder. Your job might start anytime within a 3 month window of opportunity (summer). However long you have been told to expect your project to take, it will probably take 3-4 times longer to be completed. Make sure to write completion time and penalties into your contract. Get it in writing. You can not communicate with the construction crew since most of them do not speak much English. They will not be asking you questions about how your prefer things to be done or what parts you might like... as most of them do not speak much English. The charismatic, knowledgeable, skillful, English speaking contractor, Guillermo, whom you have negotiated your job with will not actually be working on your job with his crew, as he has a full time job(s) elsewhere. Guillermo is available by phone to the crew for questions/problems and stops by once every other day or so to look at the progress of the work, as many contractors probably do. We had specifically ask the Amigo crew NOT to set up the skil saw station inside the house on our hardwood floors. When we came home for lunch we found the crew set up/sawing in our living room, so had insist on their moving out to the garage. While the crew was working at our home working on our "3-6 week" job (which went on for about 3 months) the crew appears to have helped themselves uninvited to drinks from our refrigerator in the garage, then left the empty drink containers all over the yard. Not a huge deal but how rude, really? Our interior paint job wound up with different colors of white and off-white mixed or side by side in various hallways and ceilings... opps! Guess the crew got the colors mixed up? No repairs of nail pops, washing, dusting, filling, smoothing or sealing prior to any painting. I believe if I had not removed all the light switch and electrical covers myself that the crew would have just painted around or over them. Lots of colored paint blobs left on the white base boards everywhere. Amigo did lots of stone work on the exterior of the house. The stairs and stone walk way up to the front had to be redone twice when the grout failed... twice. The stone monument-style mail box Amigo built for us 6 years ago began loosing pieces of stone work two years ago and continues to crumble. The corner of one stone wall on the entry stairs is also crumbling. The exterior, covered electrical outlets (we did not get to choose these fixtures and Amigo purchase giant, ugly, cheap fixtures) which were installed in several areas at the time of the stonework, have never provided power. Amigo replaced our cement driveway about 3 years ago. This cement work began spalling after the first winter (the surface flaking off due to the expansion of the water on the unsealed or not-sealed-well surface). To summarize; PROS; Lawn care and Snow removal If Amigo Property Services website said "Lawn Care and Snow Removal" I would give them 5 stars. CONS; Remodel, Construction, Painting, Must get it in writing, crew does not speak much English. *Great bid pricing on your remodel if you don't mind possible mediocre work which may or may not last; or you could stay home and watch the crew like a hawk.

The shower wall moves and bangs into the door, causing us severe anxiety because it will surely break. We called the office, and the guy was sooo rude and just hung up on us. We had another company come and take a look at it and they said it was not done correctly. Our only recourse at this point is to file a lawsuit because they said we are not fixing it. So very disappointing. We will need to pay another company to waterproof and correct their mistakes.

It took all of 12 weeks, then during the initial install it was discovered that he had measured where the door knob was incorrectly, so it took one additional week for that. And here is the hard part- the salesman asked us to pay for his mistake! I was surprised he asked, and I told him that was out of line. This is a major reason the rating is lower. My other chief issue was the challenge in communication with the company. I never once got someone on the phone when calling, and it took hours to a full day to receive a response by text. In the end the craftsmen (Jimmy in particular) really created a quality product.

Bob seems like a nice person, but the work that they do is terrible. The first security door they…read moreinstalled wouldn't even close, and the installer seemed to think that would be okay. Instead of making a whole new door for the second attempt, they reused the window panel. This made it so the lock set would not fit properly. They blamed it on the lock set I supplied, but I supplied the exact same Wright Serenade lock set, but in black. I called Wright Products to make sure there were no other versions. They clearly made a mistake with their measurements, again. Now there is raw, rough steel showing. I'm sure it will rust. The installer had to hammer and bend the strike plate to fit. Not to professional. The installer also need to move the existing steel frame for some reason. Now there is a gap around the frame that they did not reseal, not to mention the shoddy touch up paint. I have included pictures of the shoddy work that was done. To make matters worse, I paid for the door in full before it was finally installed. My mistake. I thought Bob was an upstanding businessman, stupid me. I would not have Cottonwood Security do any other work, nor would I recommend them.
