We had a plumbing issue where our shower and toilet were clogged. Steves was the only place that could come on short notice. They arrived and then told me it would be a 2 hour minimum charge at $375 plus tax. Little pricey but they did come day of the call. I had already removed the toilet and tried to snake the drain myself but couldn't get it. They ran their Auger and couldn't get it. I allowed them to cut a line in a different spot to run the Auger which then seemed to have the clog somewhat cleared as we saw water running past where the clog was. We are about an hour in to the two hours and they asked if I would like for them to put the toilet back, I said yes unless you are going to pass the 2 hour mark. They replied that they weren't sure they could get the toilet back on in that hour. What professional plumber cannot mount a toilet in an hour, but whatever I just did it in 20 mins after they left. Little angry but again they came the same day on a Friday and my clog was gone so I thought. 3 days later, same line is clogged again. I give it a few days, try drano, my snake again, back in the same boat. I attempt to contact Steve's again and no answer on the first call and the VM box is full. 2nd call no answer, mailbox still full. Message in the VM says to send a text or leave a message, sent a text and have been ignored ever since. To sum up I paid $411 after tax just to end up doing all the work myself which is what I should have done in the first place. My thought was to get a professional in to have a better job done than my amateur skills were capable of. The work was subpar at best, workers very obviously did not want to be there that day and then you get no response when trying to contact them when you have ongoing issues. Do yourself a favor and either call Vienna Plumbing (always been great just couldn't come day of that day) or just YouTube how to do what you need to do and make it a DYI project, cause the experience I had with Steve's Plumbing could have been done by anyone. read more

We had a clogged sewer line that was keeping one whole side of our house from draining -- toilets, showers, sinks, and the kitchen. It wasn't good, and Steve's was the first plumber I called. They were able to get to my house within 24 hours, disconnect everything (including toilets -- no small job), and had the repair done in less than 2 hours. These are the guys I'll keep coming to. I bought an old house in Parkersburg that had gas leaks so I got red tagged by the gas company. Stove, hot water and heat all work on gas. Steves guys spent the entire day at my house straightening out the mess and found several leaks that the gas guy and home inspector missed. Sam and Mark did a great job and we passed the gas inspection with flying colors. A week later I discovered issues with the water lines and got the same result ... knowledgeable people who get right to work and complete the job. You can't ask for more than that. read more

Had a issue with the hot water tanks, for a little over $400 you would expect to have hot water, nope. They did not fix the issue, plus come to find out could have got the parts for both tanks for $60 and fixed it myself. What a rip off read more
