I had a Camaro that had been sitting in another shop for over a year due to various issues with the owner and just needed a Prime and Painting for finish the work. A1 had various ads posted on Craigslist with pics of their past work so I gave them a call. The owner came to Columbia and picked up the car and took it back to Winnsboro. I followed him out to his shop and looked at other projects he currently had going on and met the staff. We had a minor discussion about a bad review that was posted and he was very forthcoming and even showed me the car in question and I was satisfied with his side of the issue and moved on. The car was painted 2 weeks later and once the work was started the owner stayed in contact with me daily with pics and texts of the work in progress. I sent him a check to pay for the work which including adding an aftermarket spoiler which required minor mods to get it to fit. Needless to say I was well satisfied with the job and will probably follow up with him soon for some other work. A1 was very professional and did the work in a timely manner in my case. They were able to get me in, order the part and have me on my way. Fast service and a family owned business. They don't try and sell you things you don't need. Their prices are fair and reasonable and they offer a one year warranty on parts and labor. If I need repairs done to my vehicle in the future they will be the first repair shop go to.

He came out one day 2 weeks ago to look at the job I needed, told me it would be a easy fix and explained what he was going to do but told me he didn't have exactly what he needed and would come back the next day. Never showed up but texted me the following day and said he worked over on a job but would get to me the next day. Never showed back up and despite me calling and sending text messages got no response. I don't know if he decided my small job wasn't worth his time or he had an emergency or what happened but like I said no communication only leads to me guessing and assuming. He seemed like a cool honest guy when he was here but getting blown off after you tell me it's a simple job and never showing back up says a lot.

Took my 2019 GMC in for a service engine soon light. Next day received a call saying it needed a…read moreECM and a fuse block, Having a mechanical background I questioned why it needed both. Upon further talking with the service advisor and the so called Tech he told me he was 99 percent sure it was the ECM and not the fuse block. Total for both was 1700.00 dollars and 1119.95 for the ECM. Told them if he felt sure the ECM would fix it to go ahead. Next day I received a call and said my truck was ready but still had a check engine light with the same diagnostic code. Upon questioning they advised me to swap out the fuse block in my wifes truck with mine since she has a truck identical to mine. Found out then they were parts swapping and had no clue. Paid the 1119.95 which I had to to get my truck and took it to LOVE GMC. Next day I received a call saying what diagnostic fees would be and told them to go ahead. Received a call a little later that week and was told I needed a fuel pump control module. Nowhere near a ECM or fuse block. When asked if they were sure the answer was an immediate YES. Called next day and said my truck was ready with no issues. If Wilsons will do this to one, I wonder how many times this happens to people who do not know any better. I now tell every one I know about my adventure with them and have the paper work to back it up if they want to see it. Never, ever again. Also my truck was fixed at LOVE far cheaper than what Wilsons quoted for throwing parts at it.
