Customer service...bah humbug!!! Service isn't their thing and the guy running things ( they called him Mike) is a real piece of work. We spent over $600 on 2 trees and have purchased from "Steve's trees" for many years. This year will be the last because of the way he behaves. He is beyond rude and obviously hates his job. He yells he cusses and he will even tell you how to drive instead of bagging a flocked tree like they said they would. This location is also extremely muddy. Never again. read more

I don't fault a small business for trying to make a buck. But their prices are very high. Today at least, a tree that was about 6 feet tall was over $120! And I saw some tress much more than that. I did see they offered flocking. And put the stand on someone's tree for them. So maybe the customer service makes up for it. But I won't pay that much for a tree. We left and went to Larry's produce in Suisun and got a 6 ft tree for $55. Saw others leaving when they saw the prices. read more

Pretty disappointing when you want to support a local business whom people talk highly of and they turn you away 10 minutes before 8pm when their hours clearly say 9pm but conveniently they started closing at 8pm. We arrived at 7:50 pm and the man upfront said they have to close a quarter to 8pm, they were turning away a lot of people and it's upsetting that they haven't updated their hours, it's all verbal which is unprofessional. Doesn't take more then 10 minutes to find a tree. Oh well on to the next. read more

We were impressed with the selection and the prices were comparable to other lots. We weren't able to get up to our usual tree farm this year so we tried Steve's. My issue is with an outburst my children witnessed by the owner which made us all uncomfortable and also the cashier telling us that although we had been standing waiting in line for popcorn (after we had already paid) that she couldn't help us until she dealt with the line of people who were accumulating behind us and cutting in front of my daughter who was patiently waiting. The popcorn machine was right next to her and all she had to do was take 5 seconds to attend to us. Instead she was snappy with me. It sucks that this is one of the few tree lots in town. I am new to the area and it is our tradition to get a tree the day after thanksgiving. We found this place on yelp and it was raining so we were determined to get the tree and go home. There was a lot of people at 9:30AM day after thanksgiving. Couple of trees didn't have a price so I asked Steve the owner what is the price for thoes and let's just say he was impatient and rude. You would think spending almost $200 on a tree you would get decent service. But nope. He was rude to us, to other costumers and treating his employees very badly as well. Anyway, we ended up picking a nice tree at the end. But the trees are overpriced and rude service on the day after thanksgiving? No thanks! I am never going back here again. read more

Betty was so nice on the phone and her granddaughter delivered it to my mom within a few hours for a small fee! That type of service is what makes dealing with small local businesses worth while. Came here the day after turkey day and the place was packed with the most beautiful trees I've ever seen!! What stood out was the selection of different varieties of trees they carry! I had never seen a Nordmann Fir Tree before! We spent an hour picking out just the perfect tree! There were so many to choose from! We wanted to get it flocked this year-first time doing this so we didn't know anything about flocking. We paid for our tree which was very reasonable!! 8.5ft tree for $85! Definitely a good price! Flocking was an additional $40. They brought our tree over over to the tent and left. We waited around, not knowing when the tree would be ready. Lousy communication on their part. Finally we saw the owner walk by and we asked him and he mentioned it wouldn't be ready until around 5 that day (it was noon). Silly us, had no idea it would take that long! So be aware if you're flocking, it takes a while! We had no clue. Unfortunately, when we called back at 5, our tree wasn't ready. We were told to call back the next day. Unfortunately, we weren't in town the next day, so we called back the day after. Again, unfortunately, the day after was raining. Which meant the flocked trees got wet from the humidity. :( Long story short, we picked the tree up three days later and it was still damp. The tree looks great though! Just be aware that if you want a flocked tree, and weather isn't great, it will be a process!!! We also picked up some garland. They have lots of wreath options and garland to choose from. Also those cute little wood reindeers they make out of wood pieces! Overall though, we love our tree and the selection they offered. The staff was friendly, and helpful too. Overpriced sickly trees. Tried to pull a fast one by saying that a 5' tree we picked which was marked at ~$80 was "actually supposed to be $120" (they rang up the register without even notifying us of the discrepancy). No thanks. We got a beautiful and healthy 5' tree instead from the nearby Central Valley Builders in St. Helena for $70 (that's a $50 savings and you get a better tree). read more

Just called to inquire about a rough estimate for how much a tree 6 to 7 feet "might" cost. Talked to a young lady who knew nothing "anywhere from $20-$1000". She passed the phone to Steve who said "I'm not here to answer questions about how much a tree costs. I've got a bunch of trees here and you can come and see if you like one or not". I told him he just lost a customer because of how rude he was. His reply, "ok, bye". Wow....and here I was wanting to support a mom and pop business...smh read more

This Christmas Tree Wonderland is fantastic. I bring my little girl here every year... She loves it. The owner hands my dear daughter a candy cane and a bag of popcorn to my wife. He looks like a lumber jack man in elf clothing. Me and the family go up and down the rows of trees; it's like a corn maze of trees. The Little girl is amazed looking up high into the sky with the trees towering over her. I try to convince the wife to go for the 16 footer; priceless the look on her face. I passed through Napa on the way to Chipotle to find the city developing the land at his old spot. He'll be at the fairgrounds this year and so will we; I hear there will be an ice skating rink next to them. It will be fun falling on my ass, skating on this block of ice. LOL read more

Best place to get a tree! We've been coming for years and love the friendly local napa owners! They've been in business for 30 years. Really warm and funny people. Always greeting and joking with tge customers. They have a variety of trees, HUGE lot, ice skating next door, flocking tent and helpful staff to carry tree out to get a fresh cut and then to the car. They also have a cute shop to visit with holiday items and offer FREE popcorn for all :) ! See you next year guys!!! read more

This is a very nice tree farm in Napa Valley, California. They have a variety of trees from flocked to short to supper tall. The staff is very helpful if you have any questions or need help. The free popcorn and got chocolate was also a nice touch. My only issue is that they do not help mount the trees onto the cars. Overall a very nice place! 4/5 stars read more

Maaaaan Steve your trees are expensive.... really expensive. We bought a tree that was just about 5ft high and we ended up paying $67 bucks with the stand and little bowl for the water (evidently that was extra). It just bogles my mind that a tree now costs so much. We didn't shop around, but I did keep my eyes open to see what trees cost after the fact. I found cheaper trees at the CVS on Trancas and Soscol. Then I saw cheaper trees at Whole Foods. I was so surprised that these big chains have cheaper trees than Steve's. What's up with that, right? I am all about supporting the local guy, but it was a big difference- like $30 bucks cheaper. The trees were the same size and they included the stand and bowl for the water. To finish our Steve's tree shopping experience, some little Peruvian guy that worked there asked me to go dancing. Yup, he asked right in front of my boyfriend, while my kid was in the backseat. It was weird, but funny and kind of awesome, I thought. My boyfriend wasn't too happy. Anyhooooo... Just thought that maybe on the chance that Steve sees this or on the chance that someone is out shopping for a tree, well, just know that Steve ain't cheap. This is Napa and I know its expensive, but you are better off going to Whole Foods, AKA Whole Paycheck. read more

Very disappointed in Steve's Trees. Went by today around 7:30 pm to buy our silver tip with such excitement and cash ready, but as my sister and I came out of the car and walked towards the lot we hear a man (I'm assuming the owner?) yell out, " we're closed!" Without so much as a sorry or explanation. Another family was getting out of their car as well and before they could waste their time walking towards the lot I let them know it was closed even though the open banners were still up and lights still on, as well as the hours in the website advertising open till 9 pm.Hopefully better luck next time with Steve's Trees. read more

Tis the season to be super UNFRIENDLY and un-helpful. Do not buy your tree from these guys. I live about 1hr 30mins away and asked if there were any Christmas trees left. The man who answered the phone said there were a few 3ft ones and one 7ft and one 11ft tree left. I was interested in the one 11ft tree that they still had and the man who picked up the phone (claiming to be the owner) refused to take a quick photo and text it to me to see if I should make the drive there to purchase it (If it looked like it worked I would have paid over the phone). Instead he insisted on my coming to see it in person. I reminded him it would take him 30 seconds to take a quick photo of it to send and in the process save me the 90mins to see it. Then he told me they don't do business like that and hung up on me! I wouldn't take his trees if they were free! Negativity for Christmas. NO THANKS! I love Steve's Trees! My family has been coming here for . . . over 20 years. I always get a 6 foot flocked tree, to remember my childhood growing up in snowy Chicago. We are usually their first customers, showing up before or on Thanksgiving Day. We pick out our tree, ask them to flock it medium/heavy, pick it up in a couple of days, and it keeps fresh and beautiful until we finally take it down after the new year! The workers are friendly and my kids love the candy canes and fun festive atmosphere. Just what we are looking for :) read more

My Grandson anxiously awaits a trip to Steve's tree lot every year to pick out his tree. It's our yearly tradition. He picks out a tree for Nana's house, and then he selects his own personal tree. We may have to buy 3 trees this year now that little sister is older. Lol. I don't mind.
