Secured the 2025 Christmas tree!! Had a blast trekking through all the fresh air, eating popcorn and drinking hot apple cider by the fire pit. Then finishing up with a sleigh ride !! This year we brought the dog and she had a blast too. Definitely recommend for all ages and pets. The process is easy there are helpers all over if you need help so don't worry if you can saw down a tree yourself. Also they have pre cut trees too. You can also get wreaths, fresh garland etc. Of course there is a boutique filled with cute ornaments and everything you can think of. For the young kids there's an awesome hay play ground and some petting zoo animals as well. It cost nothing to get in. They give you free popcorn and hot apple cider. Yummy! We get our Christmas tree here every year. They have a huge selection of trees. Some are pre-cut and some are flocked. Lots of activities and photo ops for kids. There's a fire pit with chairs around that you can sit on while waiting or you can visit the gift shop. As soon as we got our tree, we had them shaken and netted. when you're ready for pickup, just drive to the loading zone. We brought the kids back here for the experience. We came here when they were little and they enjoyed the rides, the free popcorn and cider, feeding the ducks, and wandering through the trees. We never found a tree here, but we have found our favorite taffy! We come back every year just for the taffy and sometimes visit some other stops while we're here. Gift shop, nativity set up, goat, chickens, duck, trees, photo ops, sleigh ride, they used to have quad rides (I don't know if they still do those), fire pit, etc. This year, there was a coffee food truck. This is the cutest little place for a daytime Christmas activity! Plenty of parking, there is no parking OR admission fee, and they give out free cider & popcorn! The main purpose here is to cut down your own Christmas tree, but we already have an artificial one so we came for all the other stuff. There is a hay bale area with slides for the kids to play, and there's even a bonus playground that you can pay to enter. There are some animals to see and you can purchase food to feed them inside the store. My favorite part is definitely the sleigh ride though. It's $2 for age 3 and up. They had a couple of them going at a time so we only waited maybe 15 minutes max. I hate to write a negative review for a local business, but I think Silveyville should rethink their pricing structure. People go there for a fresh tree and are already paying a premium. Yet, Silveyville will not only charge a high price for the tree but they also charge for extras that really should be included with the price, specifically shaking the tree out costs $3 (netting costs $4). The tree is shook out using a machine and it doesn't take much manpower. Given how much the trees are, you would think they would just include it in the price since many of the trees have dried leaves and debris. About the trees you can cut yourself, the quality of the trees are pretty low (we didn't see any noble firs), and many looked like bushes that were just shaped like trees. We opted to buy a precut tree instead, which was almost double the price. read more

The cutest place for fall opt photo shoot! So many areas for pictures with your loved ones. Great place to take the kids out for some family bonding. Especially during such a sucky year with the Covid. For the most part, most families tried to keep the. Social distancing. Everyone wearing their masks. Wash station at the entrance. I didn't see hand sanitizers, so prepare to bring your own. It's outdoor, dusty and lots of roaming chickens, cats and excited children. So don't wear your good shoes. Make sure to bring wipes for your kids when they go straight for the goats area. Or when they start chasing the chickens. And handling all the different pumpkins scattered all over the place. There is a cute little store that sells Holiday ornaments, a few Walt Disney figurines and personalize your own ornament. The workers were very friendly and make sure to not throw your receipts away. They had an amazing selection of trees. You could grab a saw and cut your own down or pick one that Was already freshly cut. The whole place had a bit of an antique feel to it. There was lots of chickens and cats running around. They had their history posted, places where you could stop and take pictures. This place is great!! Only thing I had an issue with was the parking for disabled persons the gate was closed but because I was with my family they dropped me off in the front so I didn't have to walk with my walker around the fence to get in. I had come here before during pumpkin season with my daughters Girl Scout troop and liked it so much I wanted to check this place out during Christmas season. This was opening day in the mid afternoon. I don't know where my non got the letter inside that had all the pricing info but when she was reading it aloud it did sound bad for the prices of the trees!! It's cool u could either cut it down yourself or there were cut ones to choose from. It's great that they shake the tree and net pack em for a reasonable fee. They also had a lot of activities for the kids! The lines were long this day so we might come back soon to check out the rest of the area. Had fussy children with us so we had to cut our time here short but it was enough to enjoy. I remember a farm with animals in the way back but we didn't get to make it due to a time we had to head home to meet up with family plus the fussy kids. Looked like there was tons of parking, not much for disabled but luckily we got one since someone was leaving as we came. Review #176 - 2020 After we finished up with the #MAGADragTheInterstate rally in Rocklin, I took the kids to Silveyville since it was on our way back home. We showed up at around 2:30 PM on Saturday, October 3rd, and the parking lot was actually quite busy. It was about 95° out so I thought we wouldn't last more than half an hour in the high heat, but we managed to last almost an hour since the kids actually enjoyed it more than I expected. They actually have a few different rides for the kids so we decided to get on the quad ride, which was $5 per person. My 4-year old daughter actually rode along with me because she's too young to ride alone & she really enjoyed it. She even asked if we could go again, but I was getting hot & sweaty so I just wanted to get into my air conditioned car. We ended up buying a few kabochas and they were perfectly ripe so they tasted so good after I steamed them. The only reason I couldn't give 5-stars is because service was kind of lacking & prices were a little high. But if we're ever in the area, I'd definitely bring the kids back again...maybe we might come back for Christmas. read more

A great ball of boring disappointment, they have the most tiniest pick your own pumpkins area and most of them are seem like they been dropped . The ones we get get they uncharged for the next size up so paid an extra $2 on each one . Waited over 45 for the ATV ride they had 2 sets but were running only 1 of them so it's 6 people at a time . We have enjoyed visiting this farm for this year and the past two years. It is easy to find a nice tree and the folks who work here are generally friendly and helpful. We find it easy to get to the farm (it's very close to 80, with clear street signs) and easy to get back to home. The only stressful thing is tying our own tree to the roof-- the previous tree farm we visited in Sonoma County took care of that important detail. Great selection on trees. The price you pay is high but that's what happens when you can cut your own tree down. The service is mediocre & they rob you. They don't hand you the receipt, They staple it to the tree so you don't see the tip THEY ADDED THEMSELVES! Such a fun place and so many trees to choose from! We walked around to find our perfect tree to cut down and they had so many to choose from. The place is huge so I never felt too close to others. The people working there were very friendly and helpful. They had lots of options including ones to cut down or not, and offered to tow them for you. The only negative is there's a flat fee for each tree, it's not by weight or height, so if I had the room it would be great, but I have a small apartment so unfortunately got charged the same amount as people with the massive trees. I actually really like this pumpkin patch! They has a bunch of pumpkins to pick from and a pick your own in the pumpkin patch also. The prices were super affordable and they had a chart so you would know how much they cost. I think my favorite part was that they also have Christmas trees that you can cut down yourself and all different types. They also had this dick pond, that you can buy little pebbles to feed the ducks in the duck pond. They had a story time area for the kids, a little stand for pictures, a little hay pyramid for the kids, a hay ride to take you to the duck pond, and corn box to play in with the dried corn kernels. I actually had a lot of fun and it made me super excited for the upcoming holidays to come. If you haven't visited this little gem... Another one of those mom and pop joints that I adore! My friend and I came here to pick up a pumpkin to carve after we couldn't find any good pumpkins at Walmart. I'm so glad that we did! There are so many different kinds of pumpkins ranging in varieties and sizes. Buying a pumpkin is easy here; choose a pumpkin, have it measured, and have grandma ring it up for you. Our medium-sized pumpkin only cost us $3. They also have a gift shop where they sell all kinds of goodies, hay rides, a teepee, Indian corn, and a station where kids can paint their pumpkins. So I've only been here for the pumpkin patch. It's a yearly tradition for my family. They have a bunch of pre picked pumpkins up front that you can just choose from or you can take a walk to the back field to p I one right out of the patch. Most in the patch are already cut off the vine and just laying there, so no worries about tools. There are activities in the front that all cost money individually or you can get a wrist band for the play areas. There are ATV rides around the farm and a tractor ride that rings you to their duck pond. These are a separate charge from the wristband so be prepared. Prices for pumpkins seem pretty average. It can all add up. But it's good fun for the family that makes good memories. That's why we keep going back. read more

My husband and I love cutting down our tree every year, so I was really excited to find a place close to home. I was underwhelmed by the variety of trees we were able to choose from. The "cut yourself" trees were all pine (search Monterey Pine for reference) and frankly, ugly. We then gave up on cutting our own down and ventured into the pre-cut trees (Noble Firs) only to find 5' trees for $80-$90. Pretty cool place to kick off the Christmas season. There are uncut and precut trees available, price as expected. There are aces for your use and workers to help load up. Each tree comes with complimentary shaking and netting. After we picked our tree, we went to turn the stub in & get the extra services in order to pay but we literally asked 6 different people for help. EACH AND EVERYONE OF THEM began to look for our tree but eventually would start helping other people & forget about helping us. After the sixth time and waiting for 45 minutes, I was so mad & said forget about it. My husband even made it to the Pat house before I was able to even find my tree. We ended up just leaving with no tree. Very displeased with our experience & will have to find else where to get our tree. Also, when we first got there was an older man who was supposed to be passing out information sheets but was too busy talking to people to actually pass them out. And we asked several people for directions when we first got there since it was our first time with our daughter and were told different things each time. So.. they were a little.. no, a LOT unprepared for the crush of folks today. I get this was Day One of their tree season, but a lot of the screw-ups I noticed today were easily foreseeable: 1) The older gentleman out front wasn't handing out the pricing/procedure papers. He chatted with select folks but missed 90%+ of the others coming in. Multiple people handing out flyers like in previous years was a better system. This was an issue because there were a lot of confused first timers later on. 2) Usually there is a little ATV w/triple-flatbeds that comes around every 5-10 minutes to get your tree that you've cut. We waited 20 minutes (we were near the back of the lot) and saw no one. We ended up carrying our tree all the way up to the front. 3) Next, a 500-foot long line to pay. No exaggeration. It stretched 100 feet past the cider/popcorn house (which had it's own long line!). While waiting it line I helped pick up fallen trees TWICE from the triple-stacked ATV flatbed tree-carriers (that apparently started running again). Anyhow, it took an hour to get to the front of that line for the privilege of paying $81 ($69 tree, $4 shake, $4 bag, tax). CRAZY. VERY easily solved -- they should have roving workers w/tablets and Square card readers or somesuch. No blaming things on "being in the country," not in 2019. They had old readers and not enough stations. 4) After waiting that hour in line to PAY.. turns out they hadn't processed my tree (shake and net), which they'd had there for over an hour. I waited for 15 minutes, then decided to be proactive when it was obvious that there was no "system." I found my tree, dragged it to the shaking/bagging area, and asked a kid if he'd be willing to do mine since I was ready to take it home. He did, and we were on our way. It was so jammed that we carried the tree way into the parking lot instead of the usual of driving our SUV up close to load. I still like this place as they've built up a lot of goodwill over the years, and this was our family's 14th year coming here for our tree in a row. It's been "busy" before, but this wasn't "busy," this was a breakdown. There were NO contingency plans or system upgrades at all. I do think that to some degree this was foreseeable. I hope they solve these issues. We'll come back next year, but if this happens again, sad to say, but I think we'll move on. read more

Our adult children have enjoyed the tradition of coming to Silveyville since they were three and one year and a half for over thirty years. They now bring our grandchildren. Unfortunately, their experience was disappointing. The gbabies waited for an hour and a half for the sleigh ride and when it was their turn and without explaination the sleigh ride stopped. Not just for the nostalgia but for the sheer fact that you knew you were getting a good quality tree for a good price and that it turns the whole day into a family fun adventure. You have your pick of many varieties of trees (we tend to be Douglas Fir people ourselves...) with options to shake, wrap and get flocked. There is free apple cider served out of a booth as well as fresh popcorn. In addition, there is food and beverage for purchase. Wanted to start by saying this place is absolutely amazing we have been getting our Christmas trees here for 3 years now and we are always able to find that perfect tree that we are wanting for our home. Here they offer custom reefs amazing sled rides and popcorn and cider. This really makes it feel like such a family atmosphere. This year we chose to receive some of the additional features that they offer that included Shaking, Custom wood stand, and flocking. To have it flocked it takes a few extra days to allow for it to set and cure so that it stays. My schedule made it very difficult for me to be able to get here before they closed during the week however after speaking to the staff and owner they completely went out of their way and stopped their busy schedules to come out after hours on to allow me to be able to pick up the tree that we had done.
