The explained the process completely, answering all my questions and their pricing was right in line with others we had contacted. They completed their drilling the site was as though they had never been there. We had a tremendous experience with Martel and I highly recommend them to all.

The connection was leaking profusely120' below ground. The fitting on the pump was a pipe fitting and they used a tapered PVC fitting with short threads to connect to the pump. The fittings were the same size but were different threads. We had poor water pressure in the house ever since they installed the well and pump because the connection leaking to the pump. It was hemorrhaging as much water from the connection as it was pumping out of the top of the well. The connection to the pump became completely disconnected in 2012 resulting in no water to the house at all. I called Martell to correct the issue and they installed a new well pump and another faulty connection. They installed a new pump even though there wasn't anything wrong with the old pump, the problem was with their faulty connection to the pump. After 2012 I continued to deal with the same poor water pressure until this year when I had another well service replace the pump and connection that Martel installed. The new installer did a great job and I now have excellent water pressure. The new service commented that the pump Martel installed was a piece of junk as it had a plastic top. My new pump is all stainless steel connected to all steel fittings. The new installer explained in great detail the differences in the connection from Martell's pump to the PVC pipe which caused the leak. As the new installer pulled the pump out of the well water poured out of the connection to the pump. I have all this on video on my phone. If Martel used these same connections in the hundreds of wells they have installed in Wisconsin then they are all leaking below the surface. You can't tell this is happening because you cannot see it until it pulled out of the well. And you have to be standing there to see it when it comes out. Again I have a video of mine leaking so can prove it happened. I complained to Martel in writing and on the phone several times about this but the only thing they did was forward my letter to their attorney and denied to help me in any way. Martell is incompetent and unqualified.
