Paul from Norblom assessed the situation and came up with a more cost affordable and easier to maintain solution for us to close up the broken pipe in the hard to reach location and run new pipe (up to code) to the side of the house. During his inspection he also found an issue with our dryer vent not being properly hooked up which is not something we would have noticed on our own. He was right on time in his time window, was very friendly, took the time to explain things to me, and most importantly was in and out in a few hours. Discovered the copper connections from the house into the softener were just enough different to not fit. Contacted Edwards Plumbing and described in detail what two fitting needed to be changed for the install. (FYI, I use to be a contractor, retired now) First appointment opening six days later. Plumber arrived (no name), changed the two copper fittings, hooked up the discharge and overflow line and set clock. The Northern Plumbing plumber that came to my home was very good, courteous and knowledgable but the current and past owners of Northern Plumbing overcharged me and the quality of their work was very poor.
