Our plug-in hybrid died yesterday. It made noises, flashed lights and wouldn't start. We called a number of Hyundai dealerships. A few had one mechanic who worked on the PHEVs but they were 1-3 months out. A couple offered no assistance because they had no one who could work on the car. Reached out to Stevenson in Longmont where, after a few questions, said it sounded like a battery problem. (We'd used jumper cables but that hadn't worked.) He said that from what we told him it sounded like a battery issue and gave us a game plan that worked. Roadside service came out, started car, checked battery. Charging now and ready to go soon. Now we'll cancel our February 2 appointment elsewhere and use Stevenson in Longmont for future service. The biggest difference was this service manager asked some questions to troubleshoot rather than put us off for, at least, a month. read more

there was a recall on my car. they reached out to make sure I scheduled an appointment to fix the recall. the lady I scheduled the appointment with told me they were booked out two weeks. ok, I scheduled the appointment to which I was told the fix would take one hour, max two hours. the day of the appointment arrives, I drop my car off for my 10:30 appointment early. im told they would be there until 5 and they would let me know when my car was done. After only getting a call from the sales department asking me if I want to sell them my car, by 4, and they told me it would be done by 3, I walk the mile there to be told the recall fix was not done because they didn't have the glue. The Glue. so despite this recall fix being on their schedule for two weeks they waited until the day of to get the glue from Denver. the manager tried offering me a car of theirs for the night and that they would find me to trade cars sometime the next day. While nice, very difficult when you have multiple appointments the next day, hence why I scheduled for the day I did. I am appalled by their poor management and customer service. Sadly, the other times brought my car here because it was covered under warranty i was disappointed. imagine having oil changes covered by warranty and when you call to schedule they can't because they don't the filters for their branded cars. I had to drive to Greeley to pick them up. Avoid this particular service center. read more

I will never step foot back in this place after the way that I was lied to My ELANTRA 2017 went into the shop on July 15 . Told them engine light was on and lost power.After 2 months of being lied to I was told to come get the car .pick up car go 4exits down the highway. Tow truck had to come .2days later car making knocking noise and not idling correctly. Was told to come to store Saturday of this last weekend. I was pleasantly surprised by the service department. After getting an oil change at Midas, where they told me that my brake pads were an emergency, I brought my vehicle here for a complimentary multi point inspection. Just as I suspected, I didn't need brake pads. Fast forward two months ... I called to schedule an oil change and alignment and ask about upgrading headlamps. So helpful. So friendly. I still don't need brake pads. My headlamps are great! Thank you!!! read more

My wife and I are very happy and completely satisfied with our experience with Jamie and Pierce. I first spoke to Jamie on the phone and negotiated the price for our new Santa Fe. When we arrived at the dealership Jamie was tied up and he introduced us to Pierce who took care of us from that point forward. I was certainly well satisfied with my interaction with Jamie but want to especially recognize Pierce for his outstanding service to us. They owed me another $200 from my down payment. Told me that if I took the poor review I left off of Google, they'd refund the rest. In July 2018 I bought a used truck that appeared to be in great shape. In 9 months I put a little over 5,000 miles on it. The truck was making weird noises in the front end so I took it to a reputable shop. It needed $3,000 in repair as the front end was coming apart and created severe safety issues. The vehicle had a bad rack and pinion, bad outer tie rod ends, bad wheel bearing and bad lower ball joint. I kept all of the parts to prove they were bad and had to make multiple attempts to get a hold of the General manager, Scott DeSimone. Once I got a hold of Scott he responded with there was nothing he could do which is absolutely not true. Scott couldn't just leave it at that and had the audacity to be condescending and state "sounds like you have a good truck as you've already put 6,000 miles on it." I wouldn't get a vehicle from Stevinson Hyundai if they were giving it away and as for Scott and his team, they should be ashamed of themselves. read more

RUDE, UNHELPFUL Service Department. My car was towed to this dealership AND I had an appointment that was completed on-line. I wrote in the on-line form "engine light flashing, car lurches forward". After waiting and waiting, the Service Dept person said that on-line appointments are for regular maintenance. Well, if that is the case, then maybe you should not provide the customer a space to type in the car issue. Was told the code was blah, blah and wouldn't get worked on until January---it's October. First off, you didn't even put my car on a diagnostic device, so how the hell are you going to know the code---if you're that good, maybe you should predict the winning lottery numbers. Secondly, you offered ZERO help ...ZERO Help! No rental, NOTHING! The Service person made this my fault...Seriously-he made this as if I had something to do with the engine light flashing and it was a complete bother to him. Don't boast about your award-winning service department when you bullied until I had no choice but to take my car and leave. You should be ashamed of how you handled this. We scheduled an appointment to look at a vehicle. I received a call back in just a couple of minutes.We instantly gave them a few customer service moments. We had to delay our arrival twice, had an expired insurance card, and forgot the checkbook. They met these problems head on and with smiles. They resolved these issues very quickly. We were on our way with a truck that we felt great about driving off with. The overall feel of the sales area was very friendly towards the customers and team members. Hum...it might have been better to leave well enough alone but instead you decided to respond and minimize the experience that we had. An apology for our experience is due but when you don't really mean it, it amounts to nothing. We can understand not having a loaner for somebody that is only going to miss their car for a day but if you are going to have it for 2 or more weeks for something that is the manufactures issue then it would be good customer service to provide a loaner from the get go. Yes you provided us with a brand new 2015 Sonata and We appreciate that you finally did the right thing. However you did not do that until we had complained all the way up the chain(to Hyundai themselves) and after already having the car for 13 days(we dropped the car off Aug 27th and got the loaner Sept 8th). So don't sit there and think that you did us a favor when really you were just trying to cover your ass. We only gave you a call back after the GM called us to apologize and let us know that magically there was now a loaner car that we could pick up. Yes the car is being fixed at no cost to us but that is only because it is under WARRANTY! By your comment it makes it even clearer that warranty work is low on your priorities. On top of that and having the car for 13 days when we picked up the loaner the part(short block) was still not even in. It was explained that it had to come by ground due to its weight and that it was coming from California. We are pretty sure that at this point the part must have traveled all the way to the east coast to go to Texas where your main HUB is and then it might be on its way to Colorado. We think it never got order in the first place. Everybody we talk to, and that is lots of people, think that it is ridiculous how long it is taking. Some of those people are mechanics and other dealerships, people whom have experience with this. Now on top of everything else we never had any intention nor did we say we had the intention of trading in the Sonata and yes we looked at the new Sonata but NOT in the thoughts that we would be buying one, just to see one(we never even opened the door on one to get inside). Maybe your salesmen should pay attention and actually listen to the people they are helping. We were in the market for a new car however we were looking for something like the Santa Fe. Due to the initial experience and being rather frustrated with Stevinson Hyundai of Longmont we started looking at other dealerships for that next car. We ended up buying the new vehicle from Prestige in Longmont were they treated us excellent. A couple last thoughts....It is possible that if we had been treated like any other customer not a warranty job(unless you treat all customers this way... scary), had provided a loaner and been honest from the get go we might have ended up buying a second Hyundai. Second by the time you magically found a loaner and tried to cover your ass it was a little to late to rectify the situation and our feelings towards your dealership. When we are ready to trade in the Sonata for the next Sonata(We still love our Sonata) We will find a different Hyundai dealership to do so at. We will not use Stevinson Hyundai of Longmont or any Stevnison Dealership again. read more

I have my dream car!!!! In May I started looking for a new car and my heart's desire, a Veloster Turbo in Vitamin C was nowhere to be found. I bought my second choice (a Nissan) and it was totaled in an accident in July. On an off chance I went back to Doug Wilson and he was able to trade with a location in Colo Springs which just happened to get in the exact car I wanted! Purchased a Hyundai Elantra on April 9th, and paid cash. I called the dealership on May 4th, and asked where the title paperwork is, and they hadn't even started it yet. According to CO state law, I have 30 days to title this vehicle. Update: Manager called me and sent paperwork via UPS. Cutting it very close. i was looking around for about a week at used and new cars and saw a few at different Hyundai dealers. i liked the price so i inquired with each dealership. while i got a REALLY good quote from a Hyundai dealer in Denver for a new car, however the Stevinson dealership was much much closer to me than the one in Denver. i went in to the Longmont dealership and asked about the Accents and the Elantra. Chris gave me a quote and i proceeded to show him the other offers i got MUCH LOWER than the one he was willing to give me. after about 15 minutes he comes back and says he can't match the price the other dealers where offering me but could go "this low" which was a decent amount higher for the Accent. while i was waiting for the other dealership to contact me back, Chris was throwing numbers at me trying to make the sale before the other dealership could answer my questions. little did Stevinson know.. i really did NOT want to drive 60 miles to go get a car. so i told him if they could throw in some oil changes we got a deal. I have yet to deal with their service department and judging from these reviews i'm sort of terrified, but will make my own judgement when i take my car there. overall the experience was good i ended up paying more than i could have at another dealership but i was willing to pay the little extra not only so i don't have to drive 60 miles but its ALSO practically next to my house so i can bring my car there AND i support businesses in my neighborhood. one thing irked me Chris kept disappearing every time we needed him for something which i thought was odd since he JUST sold me a car... but there were alot of people there that took over so i wasn't sitting there waiting. i gave them 5 stars for the sole reason that the buying experience went fast and painless and everyone there was really nice. read more

Overall the experience was what I expect in buying a car, but I probably wont be back. Most of the people I dealt with were extremely professional but the sales person, Henry, was not completely honest with me more than once. First of all he told me I couldn't take the car that day because it needed new front tires and brakes. So I came to pick it up the next day and I was told the new front tires and brakes had been taken care of. It did not have new front tires. When I asked Henry about it (he wasn't working the day I picked up the car), he told me that there was some confusion and there was a different car that needed new tires. I told him that even if that was the case I was told I was getting new tires, I think I should get them. He went and talked to the GM who said Henry needed to talk to the "Pre-Owned" GM. Pre-Owned GM was out but Henry assured me he would talk to him first thing in the morning and get back to me the next day. Nothing. I had to go back to the dealership to take care of some additional paperwork and Henry was there smiling and told me he would talk to the Pre-Owned GM and get back to me. Nothing. I had to go back one more time and Henry told me that he had talked to the Pre-Owned GM and the tires were within spec sooooo.... *Shrug* A) if there was a mixup that is not my issue. I was told something and it didn't happen. I didn't get it in writing so I understand I have no real recourse, other than to try and warn others. B) Henry, if you tell a customer you are going to call them back, you should do so. read more

Overall, we had a nice experience with buying our 2017 pre-owned "certified" Santa Fe. The prices were reasonable and for a car that had been used as a rental for a year, it was in decent shape. Davis was great in talking us through the sales and being accommodating. However, when we got the car home there were a number of issues wrong with it. We live an hour away and made the drive back up a few times to finally find out that the car had a number of blown fuses and the alignment wasn't set properly. So much for a certified car! It is disappointing to say the least to buy a new vehicle expecting that it was in the working order promised and to find out that whatever they did for the inspection was obviously not done well. Good on sales and convenience, but take note to look over the car in a lot of detail. UPDATE: The dealership fixed the car today and now that everything is in working order, we are much happier! read more

While my overall experience with This dealership was good and I did end up with the car I wanted... I was disappointed with a couple of things. First of all, I was called by the dealership about 5 days after I had first inquired about the vehicle and told that I absolutely needed to come back due to the Presidents' Day sale they had going. At that time I left work early and went over to the dealership. As we began discussing the price they showed me the same sticker price that I had seen 5 days earlier and proceeded to tell me that they run their sales a week prior. I was irritated by this since they didn't tell me this on the phone and I didn't need to rush in. Additionally because I was buying a used car they said they wouldn't top of the gas tank. Although every used car I've ever bought has come with a full tank of gas, I didn't argue the fact but was irritated that I left the lot with less than 1/4 of a tank. Then, after owning the car for less than a week and driving in the first snow storm since my purchase I found out on the highway that my washer fluid tank was bone dry. All of these seem like relatively small irritants but with the amount of money that I spent at their dealership including almost 500.00 for dealer prep, I would have imagined that my vehicle was entirely road ready. Service department gets five stars! Steve is very professional with his work ethic, and I believe the other guys name is Dave, I might be wrong? But I have dealt with two honest gentlemen here that are confident they can take care of my car. I always bring my own oil and they put their recommended filter and a synthetic oil change with them is less than $20.00!! They even wash my car and my engine too!! Stevenson always does a multi point inspection every single time your car goes through their shop :) I got an amplifier installed and having wasted so much money taking it to a ghetto shop here in town (safe and sound audio) i thought it had fried the electrical in my tiburon. I took it to Stevenson Hyundai and my car was not producing the wires windows door locks and dash flickering malfunctions, and they didn't even charge me to look at it!! So it started happening again about 8 months later on and off and my car wouldn't start and everyone kept telling me it was a bad alternator.. The great Hyundai team fixed a wire that was misplaced (also looked and paid for to be looked at at car toysbefore these two occurrences) and One of the crew members at Stevenson Hyundai knew Exactly what it was and put my ground wire to my positive on the battery in the right spot and I haven't had any problems and it's been a week! everything is fixed completely I can't believe it! I've been dealing with this issue for over a year and a half I didn't know what was going on and nobody else knew but Stevenson Hyundai!! To top it off they gave me a ride straight to my doorstep at home and picked me up call me before they came and when I was leaving the shop they gave me chocolate I was the happiest girl in the world thank you so much Stevenson Hyundai you put my trust back in car companies and service shops!!!!! read more

This dealership made a contract with me in order for me to go with a local dealership I knew I would pay more, but I didn't know that they would not follow through with their end of the contract that I Initialed on a piece of paper. I turned in a leased car that had over mileage and some other damage. I knew I was responsible for the remaining lease payments that added up to $2000.00 and Stevenson Hyundai was going to waive the $800.00 in overtures. Well that never happened and I paid my end of the deal and Stevenson Hyundai did not, now I'm in collections. Did I mention that this is the 4th Hyundai that I've leased since 2009? Also when Scott the manager of the whole store says he will work with you and get back to you, don't bet on any help. Now let's talk about Marilyn, and Heather, they are women who must be under pressure because they were willing to help but declined any help after their loyalty went from the customer to the boss.
