I had a company come out and remove the damaged drywall and inspect if there were any further damages. I was also given a referral to a different company to complete the drywall repair along with the texturing. That company came out and gave me an estimate which seemed extremely high for a small area of work that needed to be fixed. The area that was damaged was one whole side of a wall along with less than half of the ceiling. I wanted a second option so I reached out to CR Drywall. Samuel, the owner answered immediately and came out the very next day to provide an estimate which was HALF the cost of the estimate provided by the other company. He and his son had the job done within a week. Samuel and his son are very polite and professional. They showed up on time, are great with communication and did a fantastic job with my drywall repair and texturing. I would highly recommend CR Drywall and will be using them again for all my future needs.

The house we moved into a year ago had 1/3 of the garage drywalled from the ceiling and walls. The…read morerest was open beams with roll insulation stuffed in between which made the garage look like it was small and dark. We have wanted it finished for a while and finally pulled the trigger. We decided to go with CR Drywall and it was the best decision we made regarding home improvement so far. Samuel showed up at the agreed time and he was always in contact with us up to the start of the job. On the day of the job, he text me to let me know they were a few minutes away so we could move our cars out of the garage. The crew that showed up were very diligent and respectful of our house and neighbors. The first day involved installing drywall and the second day went faster with mostly tapping and mudding. I will recommend them to anyone and use them in future projects.

The ceiling, stairway railing and walls were pretty beat up. Everything went well from estimating, scheduling, to the actual painting. We worked with Mike Crandall for estimating the job and the initial estimate. We worked with Erin and Lauren in the office and they were very responsive and helpful. Sean did all the paint work. I would highly recommend their services.

Although most of the paint job is holding up, I can't recommend the company because it appears they did little to no prep work on a house that definitely needed prep work in only a few places. Furthermore, once the job failed within the first year, I asked them to fix it and learned that they offer NO warranty on their workmanship so they were unwilling to do anything for me. In particular my front porch, which is sheltered from the sun, had a solid red stain on it that still had some of its original glossy finish. They did nothing to prep the surface (a quick wipe with some liquid sandpaper would have done a lot at very little effort) and instead just sprayed it with a topcoat of standard house paint where an oil-based primer followed by floor enamel (since much of the surface is flooring) would have been the better way to do it. It only took one good Truckee winter with water penetrating underneath for the paint to shrink and lift from the surface and expose bare wood underneath. It ended up far more ugly and unprotected than when it started. Since they did nothing to help remedy the job when I asked them, I had to fix the job my own expense and at great effort to make sure it was done right. I expected more from professionals who had experience dealing with the harsh climate.
