Their "Texas Kitchen " has food to go or dine in. I had not planned on doing breakfast here, but they offer huge portions of well cooked food. I got a breakfast plate which was so generous I could not finish it all. The employees are friendly and helpful, even taking your groceries to your car. They also offer curbside pick-up. I have been in several other smaller United grocery stores which were great, but this one is much larger and offers more. At home we have an excellent grocery store popular in Texas and known by three letters. But if this United grocery store was in our town I would shop here.

The usual setup applies: bring a quarter to the locked carts out front. Shop. The cashier uses your cart in a hurried fashion to reload the groceries NOT into bags after they've been scanned. You bag them yourself at the long counter near the exit. All of this cuts back on prices... which inflation has still affected ALDI but not nearly as bad as I thought it would. If I had a cooler with me, I would have picked up a few fridge & freezer items. Their specialty section was a bit in disarray. Pretty normal sight actually. Then I think to myself, I'm glad to not be going to those folk's houses. Lol. Thank you to the nice lady who gave me her cart in the parking lot. I tried to give it away again, but got a no thank you. Ha!

I stopped here looking for a rest stop while passing through on the highway. The exterior is clean and has a fresh appearance. I was surprised to find a full grocery store inside. I suppose if you live here you could find everything you need. As a passer-through it was more than I was looking for. The restrooms were clean and single-occupancy.
