So I was referred by a friend to go here I'm getting married September 6 2020 and I was needed to get 24 patches sewed on my vest and my soon to be husbands...Linda Decided that she was going to sow on the patches herself free of charge for a wedding gifts. Run, run, run away from this place. These women are beyond unprofessional and the business is filthy. After driving miles out of my way, I decided to leave my lamb skin leather jacket for alterations even though the office smelled disgusting. I was hoping to get my jacket altered quickly (as promised) and before it absorbed any odors. Laura promised the finished product in days. However, that was not the case, after many calls and the passing of three weeks the jacket had not even been touched. I picked up the jacket and have it hanging in my garage to rid it of the musty, wet dog and cigarette odors picked up at the alterations shop. So I've driven by this place hundreds of times growing up and finally decided to walk in. I'm sure glad I did. We were greeted by Laura, the founder who has been creating custom leather pieces since the 70's. All items I inspected were done with a high level of detail and love. Leather jackets, gun holsters, ladies tops and other attire made of leather, this place does it all. It's a family business that exceeds any expectations I had. Laura and her crew are nice people however I am feeling very disappointed... I bought some leathers as a run and she said she would take them back and alter them at shop and send them to me in a few weeks... several months later I had a friend pick them up for me and the promised alterations were not made and one of the patches to be sewn on was left in the pocket.. paid in full...I let it pass thinking that when I saw them again it would be rectified... well... 1 year later I indeed did see them again and the experience began...I showed up Friday morning being one of the first people in line as the curtains opened! I left my leathers to be hemmed and patches to be sewn on. I checked back on Friday night and several times on Saturday to see the progress to be told mine was next (Friday afternoon), and on Saturday morning that it was half way done...upon walking into tent area to inquire about the progress I noticed that there was several people picking up their stuff that was brought in after mine...completed??? I went in on Saturday evening at 10:30 pm and the chaps were hemmed but the jacket had not been touched as I was told not once but twice!!! As I appreciate the hard work of these folks and the willingness to do the job I did not think it is right or fair to push back my items for other bike club members and chosen customers to do theirs first and leave mine undone! I waited a year for this to be done. I was in line first before them and my money is just as good!!!! With no disrespect to Laura and her staff, I will not be purchasing anything in the future as I was considering due to the insensitivity I was shown in respect to my requested work.. I tried dealing with this with respect and sensitivity to Laura knowing her health issues, however I did not deserve the treatment I got in return!!! I am not associated with any bike club and feel that my business as an independent biker is just as good as theirs!!!!!! I was told that they make a great product so I decided to have them make me a few things on one order. I was told what day they would be done. That day came and went without even a phone call to me. I have sence called and stopped in many times and keep getting the same reply. We are working on them and need a few more days. Or we are just to busy and have been pushed back. I dont know if I will ever get my products or even the quality as I have yet to see them. y the way it was a 3 week order and now it has been about 5 weeks!!!! read more
