Stewart Moving & Storage was the final handoff for the delivery of our household goods (through Royal Hawaiian Movers/Dewitt Move Worldwide). I would think that anyone moving their household goods from one state to another would feel anxious about the condition of their possessions once they receive it. I'm happy to say that we are all relieved to receive it in the same condition when we sent it out! Moses and Aiden, the two gentlemen who delivered our goods to its final destination, were friendly, patient and professional. They arrived within the time window that was promised, and even received a courtesy call when they were on their way. I even requested them to call me once they are parked outside our house and followed through. Before opening the crate, they made sure that I visually check if the seals were in tact, proof that the crate wasn't tampered. They willingly and carefully put all our boxes in their respective areas in our home and made sure that the boxes didn't hit any of our walls in our home while traversing back and forth. They cleared debris and explained all of the documents I signed when received them. In addition, when I followed up with their office to confirm my delivery date, they called me back within 15 minutes to provide a confirmation and time window. I even received a courtesy text from Annette for a COVID questionnaire and confirm my delivery date and time once again. It goes to show that they care about their customers, as well as their employees. Will definitely recommend Stewart Moving and Storage to anyone who would need moving and storage services. read more

We were contracted Stewart Moving company for our military move too Hawaii. With this being our third cross country move I made sure to prepare as best I could. Rich stopped by a few days before to go over the basic's of packing and what we could and could not pack. Then on the day of packing a team of 4 gentlemen showed up, right on time, and got to work! They packed our entire 5 bedroom 3 bath home in ONE day! They were all very professional and did a great job packing! My belongings arrived in Hawaii in three weeks (pick up in Georgia December 28 and delivery to Hawaii was January 25) and the only thing broken was a kitchen bowl! I know some companies get a bad rep, but these guys did an amazing job!!! Thank you all!! read more

This was the worse moving company I have ever worked with. Items were broken , pictures disappeared, boxes were broken into, and to get these items replaced was horrible. We were told that Stewart's would not fulfill our claims. The lists we were given detailing all the items were illegible and almost blank. Some boxes were even reboxed into theirs. I guess someone had their pick of our goods. Please, save your peace of mind and do not use their service. read more

Stewart Moving and Storage either lost or stole an expensive rug during a move from the east coast to the west coast. The rug is listed on the inventory and the driver confirmed that it had been put on one of the two trucks with our load, yet they are still denying the claim. We had even purchased the full value replacement insurance and so they got an extra $250 from us and are not making good on their obligations. Do not do business with this company. By the way, the primary client here is a recently widowed women in her 80s. I guess Stewart Moving and Storage is taking advantage of the elderly here. Shameful. read more

I'm disabled and needed to purchase the pack and unpack service. My clothes were literally thrown into tall garment boxes without hangers, no one showed up to unpack my boxes at my destination and only the truck driver showed up to unload my possessions. Stewart keeps coming up with different excuses for keeping my money. They claim "we didn't charge you for pack and unpack" but my invoice clearly shows the charge. Also the invoice that the truck driver signed when he took my cash shows I paid in full, and when I complained, 2 months after my delivery the moving supervisor sends me an email to send all of my documents and they will settle my claim "expeditiously." He did not say "we didn't charge you." That claim came 6 months after I continued to complain. They also say "we never promised more than one person would unload your furniture." Finally they said "in fact Ms. Jackson owes us money." But its industry rule that movers will not unload your furniture unless you are paid in full. I have the actual signed invoice from the truck driver showing I paid him in full. They simply kept my money and left me with full boxes in my home, and live alone. I trust that God will take care of them for hurting the disabled. read more

This was the absolute worst experience of my life. Not only is our 75 inch Samsung tv that cost thousands stolen but so were all the comforters that the truck driver "Eddy" had us stuff around the tv to protect it are stolen too. Our whole living room set is busted and broke too that I bought not even 6 months ago. Both my tv stand and coffee table are broke because neither of the movers took them apart correctly or put anything in a small parts box. Also we were not showed a "high value" form of any sort or asked about it! Along with that our expensive vacuum is also broke. I do not recommend any military family or regular family use this company the truck drive that stole the tv forgot the base of the tv and the remote where in other boxes so we have those for proof, also he wrote the tv down on the form and put a line threw it with a "void"! WE SUPPOSED TO SIGN ANY VOID! BUT GUESS WHAT WE DIDNT BECAUSE THIS WAS DONE AFTER HE LEFT OUR HOUSE! SHAME on this company! We rely on companies like you to get our stuff safe across the country! Especially us military family's that move constantly! Claims will hear from us today along with the Georgia police department! This is straight up theft and this can't possibly be the first time this guy has done this! Y'all need to vet your divers and packers better than this! read more

My husband is a 30+ year veteran in the moving industry. In the summer, I travel with him as I work for the school board and have summer's off. I have been to dozens and dozens of moving company warehouse's and have met many talented, hard-working, professional men and women working there. However, this week, we had a shipment that went to Stewart moving and storage in Jacksonville, FL. What I witnessed there was far different than the majority of warehouse's that we have frequented. These individuals were the most rag-tag group of misfit's that I have ever encountered.The most unprofessional, inexperienced and unorganized group of individuals you could possibly imagine. Now, understand, these are the same people that come to your home to handle your personal belongings. My husband delivered his shipment and from the loading dock where he placed the items, to the warehouse, where the Stewart employees handled the items, several items were damaged beyond repair. As my husband was discussing the issue with the office personal, the warehouse employees were laughing and carrying on as if this was some sort of joke. If they would behave this way in front of a 30+ year veteran, you can only imagine what might go on with the average person simply trying to relocate their family and belongings. I had the worse experience since we move around with the military, If you get assigned Stewart moving company or want to hire them... avoid avoid avoid!!! They scheduled 2 days for my move... first day time frame 10-12 they show up at 2pm and left at 5:30! 2nd day time frame 8-10 they show up at 9:55! They sent just 2 lazy rude guys, that didn't wanna send a bunch of my stuff: lightbulbs, pocket hand sanitizer, my son butt cream, any kind of liquids small or big doesn't matter, and the craziest thing I ever heard is not want to send my son potty, that is mostly a toy! They asked me for food, I saw pieces of forniture, toys etc being dissembled and packed in different boxes, and out in different crates, will be a puzzle reassemble everything! But the thing that made me go insane is the fact that they show up with just 4 crates, they did a pre inspection 2 weeks ago and didn't notice that I needed more?? They wanted to load my stuff in their truck without the crates and I said no! So at 6:30 they had to go back to the warehouse and get more crates I live on Mayport base so I had to hope that the security at the gate let them in again! They showed up after 2 hrs with 3 extra crates that of course they filled up! They put just 4 things in high value saying that just a 75" tv is high value all small appliances or electronics are not! Most of my plastic sterilite containers and drawers they didn't even wrap in the papers l!!! One of the worker was continuously on the phone, taking breaks, and arrogant, the other one was just dumb dropping stuff! I just hope they didn't steal or break anything! It's been a nightmare! They left at 23:00, I didn't see them put the seals on the crates, the inventory doesn't really explain much, it's just a list of bunch of bin, toys, forniture, without really specifying .... I'm pregnant and one of the guy asked me to help to pack the tv... I said are you serious??!! Worse move ever!!!!! DON'T USE THIS COMPANY FOR ANY REASONS!! read more

I am moving to be with my wife in Maryland because she is in the United States Navy and this company came and packed up my belongings to ship them to Maryland for me. The people who came to my house were very nice and friendly and I had a great time and I believe they did as well when they packed up my belongings. The employees were very fun and amazing guys they were very down to earth and I felt like they were my friends by the time the job was done and they were lacing with all my belongings packed up. I would recommend everyone to use this company when moving they are very fast efficient and they aRe great at what they do without all the stuck up and follow the rules mentality, but they do do everything by the book and they are great at there job. I made some new friends today with the employees of this company and I am very happy with the service they provided me. 100 percent satisfaction with the service I have received. Good job guys and keep up the amazing costumer service and work and there should never be a problem or complaint about any of your amazing and friendly work. read more
