Not to mention the elevator is also almost always broken. There are homeless people walking in or around the building, it doesn't feel the a 'Secure Space' at all! The move was from Midway City to Huntington Beach - 1.8 miles, 7 minute drive (36 minute walk) according to Google. He was moving from a tiny (maybe 600 - 700 sq ft), 2nd story 1-bedroom apartment to a ground floor apartment and he doesn't own a lot of stuff. We were quoted $210 for two guys, 3-hour minimum (by Han's Moving, before we knew they would be outsourcing this move). Fast forward - Espinoza's charged him $475 for 6 hours (they only accept cash) . First off, how the heck do you take 6 HOURS to move a 1 bedroom apartment's worth of stuff to a destination less than 2 miles away? The workers also took a lunch break in that 6 hour period; so apparently, they also billed him for their lunch break. I was LIVID when I heard that he was charged that much. We called Han's (still unaware it was Espinoza's doing the job) to ask why my father-in-law was charged that amount and the response was that the elevator was very congested and slow, so it took them longer than expected. That's a ridiculous excuse, as my father-in-law's old apartment is right next to a stairwell. After I called Han's Moving and left a negative review for them on Yelp, I got a message from Espinoza's Trucking , Yelp User ID Erik E. (www.yelp.com/user_details?userid=GnkKpTf9w8nDIGS05SCgvQ). This is what he wrote: "Then y didn't you help your father in law out!!! Nothing was packed poor ol man no one was there to help him my crew was doin the most for him ungrateful ppl you are nothin was packed you walked in and it smelled horrible i dont like gettin on here and talkn bad about customers we helpd pack thats the diffrence of charge. You could of gone to another company they would of charge you way more than what u paid for quit being cheap i know how u are what do you think that just cause you hire some one theyre your slave for the day what kind of work do you do is my question?? My guys were getting yelled at for no reason my guys could of dropped the job that not how we work!!! We are and are staying comited to the moving field doesnt matter what it is to be moved !! Minimum charge with another company easily $700+ u didnt pay for fuel,truck fee, packing, supplies!!! They were pretty fast and efficient. They drove to Nevada and we followed. When we got there, they started unloading right away. They put all the stuff in the designated bedrooms and they built the beds & furniture pieces they had to disassemble. It was a long day, but they got everything done in one day and at a reasonable price! I would definitely use them again. I highly recommend them for your move.

Boxes crushed, dishes broken, furniture scratched and chunks taken out of it! They refuse to pay for items inside boxes we packed even though the boxes were destroyed. It's insane. The claims person is rude and argumentative and refuses to provide us with the repair estimate given to her by a furniture restoration company who inspected our stuff. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.
