This place is awesome! You have to stop here. Food is fresh and delicious, and there is an ice cream station! Oh and there's a restroom and it was super clean with a baby changing area. My husband and I ended up playing a game of connect 4 after our meal and watched the goats be silly :)

Fun little hidden gem that we found while driving up north. We pulled in and didn't really know what we were getting ourselves into. There were quite a few other people there shopping as well as having lunch. They have a full menu, gardening stuff, cats walking around, goats you can play with, car ports, gifts, and more. It was truly funny what we were finding around each corner while we waited for our food. The staff was very friendly and the food was ready within 10-15min but we also ordered right after a large group, so we didn't mind walking around exploring the property. My wife had the Buffalo Chicken Panini and I had the Turkey/Swiss Panini of some sort (its not on the menu online). We both had waffle fries as well. The food was better than average but nothing special. It was the experience we enjoyed! We will definitely stop back again.

A one stop shop for a restaurant, as well as a home and garden store. You can to eat in or take out. While waiting for your food order, peruse their home decorations items for sale and even garden items. The owner is friendly and helpful. We had burgers and sandwiches with fries and chips as our side, which was good.

The most amazing place for anyone road tripping with kids. Playground, coy pond, petting zoo, cut flower garden, great food, and ice cream all in one place! Couldn't recommend this more.

Eclectic landscape supply and curio shop which also has a burger/dog/sandwich/wrap restaurant inside. There are only four tables inside and several picnic tables outside. I posted pics of the menu. Prices are very reasonable and food is decent. I had Chicago dog and veggie toppings were very fresh. Fries were standard fare (my waffle fries were a bit undercooked), seasoning was good. Free refills on fountain drinks. Highlight is the Hudsonville scoop ice cream available in numerous flavors. Shakes, slushs, etc are available too. Overall, it's a respectable place with a good price point. Chicago foodies on the way to Traverse will probably best drive on by, but those after a leisurely lunch, close to US-131, with a ton of cool stuff to peruse afterwards will really enjoy Sticks and Stones.

This place is right off of US131 at the Pierson exit. Its a cute little restaurant/gift shop/garden store/ice cream parlor all mixed into one. I can't speak for the mulch section, but the burgers here are pretty good. I went with the olive burger and waffle fries. Cost, six dollars and some change. The environment is nice and clean, as well as well lit.

Good chicken wraps. Mostly tasty, but sometimes lack chicken or sauce. Service is nice. Goats outside are friendly enough to pet like dogs!

For our meal, I ordered the Pork Schnitzel with squash and zucchini and my wife got the whitefish that was one of the specials. The schnitzel had an incredible mushroom sauce and was cooked perfectly with the right balance of crispy and tender. We had a great time and plan to make the drive there regularly! Classic Kelly's Family Restaurant, a Sunday Morning Stop in Cedar Springs, MI…read more After church on this chilly January Sunday (January 11, 2026), I kept up my weekly tradition of trying a different breakfast spot. This time I headed to Classic Kelly's at 356 N. Main St. in Cedar Springs--a longtime local institution that's been serving homestyle breakfasts for decades, though it's been under new management (Heather Youngs) for just the last couple of years. The place was hopping--classic small-town diner on a Sunday morning. Every seat was taken except the one right in front of me. The vibe was warm and lively, full of locals catching up over coffee. My waiter was friendly and on top of things: greeted me immediately, handed over the menu, and quickly returned with a large chocolate milk (always hits the spot after church). I ordered a classic combo--scrambled eggs (with an extra egg added), three sausage links, deep-fried hash brown patties (the crispy, golden McDonald's-style ones that arrived instead of the chunky home fries I was expecting), and wheat toast. Everything tasted good and hearty. The sausages were juicy, the toast nicely buttered, and the portions were generous enough to leave me fully satisfied. Those hash brown patties were a pleasant surprise--crispy outside, soft inside, and honestly delicious. The only minor letdown was the scrambled eggs being a little dry (probably straight from the shell with no extra milk or butter for extra fluff), but a quick hit of ketchup fixed that right up. The kitchen was definitely taking its time, though. With the restaurant at full capacity, my solo visit stretched to over 65 minutes from door to door, with only about 12 minutes of actual eating. It felt a bit drawn out when dining alone, but I can see how it would feel alright with family or friends and good conversation. Now, the decor... let's be honest--it's the one thing that keeps me (and probably a lot of others) from coming back more often. The big, bulky 1970s chairs with armrests and leather seats/backs are straight out of a time capsule, and personally, I can't stand them. They take up way too much space, make navigating the crowded room feel like an obstacle course, and honestly, they feel like a turn-off for newer customers--especially younger generations looking for something fresh and modern. I've been quietly griping about these chairs for the 20 years I've lived in the area, and I still think swapping them for slimmer, standard restaurant seating would open up the dining room, make the place more inviting, and help attract a broader crowd. (Though I get it--more seats might mean even longer waits, so it's a classic diner dilemma.) Payment was a small moment of confusion--used to be pay at the corner, now the server handles it. There was a short wait after my plate was cleared before the check came, adding to my confusion, but no major issue. Bottom line: Classic Kelly's delivers that comforting, no-frills small-town breakfast with a massive all-day menu (omelets, skillets, benedicts, pancakes, you name it), friendly service, and reliably filling food. The new management has kept the welcoming community feel intact while running a busy, well-loved spot. The food is solid, the portions satisfying, and the atmosphere is unmistakably Cedar Springs. If you're not in a rush and enjoy the laid-back pace (or have company to chat with), it's a great choice. Solo diners should just plan for the wait. Great food and heart, but those dated chairs are a real drag and could use an update to bring in more new faces.

Coffee was great, service was warm and friendly, no issues with custom orders. Reminds me of the places I really enjoyed with my family when I was growing up. Nestled at 4848 18 Mile Rd NE, this unassuming barbecue and deli joint has quietly earned its reputation as one of the area's hidden gems. On a rare day when the stars aligned and breakfast didn't sabotage lunch , I managed to place a midday order: a half rack of ribs and a half pound of lean brisket , both paired with their signature house sauce . The result? A carnivore's symphony . Cuts Deli doesn't just serve meat --they serve a masterclass in smoke, flavor, and portion control (or lack thereof). The brisket was tender and smoky, the ribs rich and satisfying, and the sauce added just the right zing to make each bite feel like a celebration . The portions are generous--borderline heroic--and while I tried to balance things out with a side of California blend veggies at home , let's be honest: this meal was all about the meat . Cuts Deli doesn't skimp, and they don't miss. Whether it's their brisket sandwich , spring turkey with cranberry mayo , or chili cheese fries , locals rave about the freshness and flavor. Open Tuesday through Saturday, with extended hours on Fridays and Saturdays until 7 PM, Cuts Deli is a weekend indulgence worth planning around . My only gripe? That I can't eat there every day without risking a full-blown smoked meat addiction. If you haven't yet made the pilgrimage to Cuts Deli, consider this your sign . Just don't sleep in too late--you'll want to beat the rush before your favorites sell out .

Breakfast Experience…read more I want to start this review with noting that our waitress was great. She brought us our drinks promptly, made sure we had refills if we needed. And was very kind. However, our food, no matter how large the portion was, was not very good. The egg of the omelette was brown in spots and too crunchy for my tastes. The ham pieces were good, the sautéed onions were great. But where on earth is all the cheese?! No cheese on top, and all the cheese was towards the folded portion inside the omelette. Now, I know we asked for modifications from American cheese to cheddar, and we asked for hash browns to be added to our omelette, but the taste just wasn't it. Also, the salt and pepper shakers were icky to the touch. And then we got our bill, and we were astonished to see how much two omelettes, a coffee, and two waters with lemon were. I've had wayyyy better omelettes for a lot less (see my other reviews). Might be a fun place to hang out with friends and have a drink, but definitely not a good breakfast spot.
