I wasn't sure if Khao Soi was on the menu at the other location because I've never seen it, but I tried it for the first time here, and it was so good. I ordered spice level 3 out of 5. Everything about this dish was delicious. The spice level was just right for me -- enough to make my mouth burn but not enough to obliterate the flavors and textures of the curry. A few bites of the sticky white rice was enough to quench the flames in my mouth. There was also an unexpectedly large amount of pork in the curry. I was pleased to see that since sometimes Thai curry is heavy on vegetables and light on protein. The curry also came with an unexpected spring roll and a sweet and sour dipping sauce. The spring roll was nothing special -- not much taste beyond fried and the dipping sauce suffered from the same viscosity problems as most spring roll dipping sauces that I have eaten in the past. The stir fries also got my attention. I will save the eggplant stir fry for a future visit.
