Upon arriving, I was impressed with how large and clean this location was. There was a whole separate area for to-go orders! We walked in and were sat in a booth immediately. The vibes were exact to the one on Penn. Our server and overall service was quick. The food was fresh and amazing as always; the portions were huge-- we had so much leftover to take home. I wasn't sure if Khao Soi was on the menu at the other location because I've never seen it, but I tried it for the first time here, and it was so good. It's one of my favorite Thai dishes so I loved being able to get it from one of my fave Thai places. My other go-to orders are the Angel Wings, Cheese Wontons, Spicy Catfish, and Shrimp Fried Rice. No notes, all are delicious and a must! I will always be back!

I have been to two other Panang locations in the metro area, but it had been a while, so I decided to order my yardstick for Thai restaurants: green curry. This time I got it with pork. I ordered spice level 3 out of 5. Everything about this dish was delicious. The spice level was just right for me -- enough to make my mouth burn but not enough to obliterate the flavors and textures of the curry. A few bites of the sticky white rice was enough to quench the flames in my mouth. There was also an unexpectedly large amount of pork in the curry. I was pleased to see that since sometimes Thai curry is heavy on vegetables and light on protein. The curry also came with an unexpected spring roll and a sweet and sour dipping sauce. The spring roll was nothing special -- not much taste beyond fried and the dipping sauce suffered from the same viscosity problems as most spring roll dipping sauces that I have eaten in the past. The stir fries also got my attention. I will save the eggplant stir fry for a future visit.

Visited on July 5, 2026…read more Service: Very kind, attentive, and helpful staff. The owner came out to give a briefing of the menu and offered suggestions - even giving some he does not recommend. Ambiance: It is quiet and nicely decorated. There is TV playing in the background as well as music. Food: The Beef Pad Thai (1/5 spice) had extremely good flavor and a heaping portion. The peanut sauce was smooth and not overly sweet. The Chicken Tom Yum (4/5 spice) was served in a family style dish. The flavor was incredible and addictive. Mushrooms are not a preferred vegetable, but the broth flavor overtook the mushrooms. Wonderful sour flavor, but the spice level was no joke. There is also a cooking class on Saturday's 2-4.

The food was absolutely delicious and tasted incredibly fresh. We ordered the Beef Pad Pak and the Beef Pad Thai, and both dishes were excellent. They offer a spice level from 1-5, so it's easy to customize the heat to your preference. We appreciated having that option, whether you prefer something mild or enjoy a bit more kick. The service while ordering was friendly and efficient, and the interior has a nice atmosphere. That said, the dining area and decor could use a thorough cleaning, as the amount of cooking oil in the air seems to leave a sticky residue on many surfaces.

Visited on July 2, 2026…read more Service: The service was phenomenal. The waiter gave a tour of the menu - recommending what to get. Ambiance: The inside was quite busy during the dinner hours, but the patio was calmer. The weather was nice so the patio was perfect. Food: The Nam Khao was full of flavor and the crunchiness was perfect. Peeng Seen was flavorful, but the least favorite dish. Chuen Gai was the best part of the meal. Incredibly bold flavor with a crunchy texture. For dessert, the Naam Vahn was refreshing, light, and not overly sweet. Overall, the food-to-cost ratio is not the strongest, but the quality of food and service is top tier.

Even though weather was pretty warm, we enjoyed sitting outside under the covered patio. Food: everything was delicious. Be warned, though, the original papaya salad at "light spice" is incredibly spicy, even for a thai person. Sai Oua (sausage) is exactly how it should taste and I loved this nice little side dish. One star off for service - not only was the service really really slow (had to walk inside to ask for the server to come out and take our order), but we ordered the fried chicken and never received it because our server forgot to put in our order. So sad, especially since the fried chicken is supposed to go with our salads and sticky rice we ordered! And the fact that we don't plan on coming back to OKC in the near future. Street parking wasn't that hard for us during late lunch hours.
