The man that owns and runs the establishment is amongst one of the only surviving hobby stores in the local area after Walmart, hobby lobby and main conglomerates took the market. It's always nice to see that we've got family owned and operated businesses out here in Northwest Arkansas that wasn't taken over or pushed out by these big businesses. Hopefully you guys will get out to see him and check out what he's got going on. And if there is something that he doesn't have there, he's got tons of order catalogs and can get things to his people. So again as I say, if you're a hobby enthusiast in Northwest Arkansas, or anywhere close to it, you should get in an experience this hobby shop yourself. And hopefully another of us can come by where private owners like this man can survive this market and keep real hobby enthusiast in their real dreams and hobbies.

I feel there is a mix of random stores and businesses here. Lots of parking all around (in front and back) of the mall. Dress for Success is also located here, which I come every so often when I have clothes to donate.

I've seen malls like this before: outdated, rather abandoned, in a location away from the most…read moremajor road (I-540), outshined by the new leader in town (there's another mall in Rogers now), and most of the tenants of the mall take up 20% of the mall each (Hobby Lobby & Planet Fitness). I lived in a city that had a similar mall, and here was its fate: the mall closed, even though the larger tenants remained in the building and took over the mall's walking area. This was probably a great place to go several decades ago, but it looks like that time had passed. It's a shame, but that's just the progression of time at work.
