Our total was $59 and some change and right before we were about to pay, Kimberly said if we spend $100 then we get an additional free item. I went to the store and unfortunately forgot to bring my newly renewed drivers license. Security said I couldn't buy anything with an expired license so I asked to see whether the products I was interested in were in stock so I wouldn't waste my time going home to get my new license. The head security guy showed up and said he would get the store manager to come out to the lobby (since I couldn't go in the store) to speak to me, but then said that person was on break. I asked for a staff member to check if the products were in inventory and he said they were too busy (I could see the store was empty) but I could wait for the manager to return or call them on the phone. This security manager was wearing sunglasses inside and thought he was the head of a SWAT team or something, treating me like a criminal. I told him the cannabis industry is struggling and this is not a great look for Stiiizy. I asked for his name (which he refused to give) and told him I would speak to the store manager eventually and complain about him. He grudgingly spoke to a staff person (as I said the store was empty), who was very polite and anxious to help me after I explained the security shakedown. Her supervisor came in and also wanted to help. I tried to show them the verification on the DMV website that my license was current but that unfortunately was not good enough proof. They eventually told me that they had run out of the products I was interested in anyway, so I walked down the street to their competitor and bought them there after retrieving my renewed license. They were polite, interested in helping a customer, and didn't have the same kind of "in your face" security presence. I understand that the industry has security issues and policies however there is a right way and a wrong way to implement them. Alameda is not East Oakland and you don't need heavy handed security guards hassling your customers. Your competitor doesn't have them so maybe you should reconsider your security staff and policies. read more

had high hopes for Stiiizy Alameda, but unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. First off, the customer service was seriously lacking. The staff seemed uninterested and unhelpful, barely acknowledging customers and offering minimal assistance when I had questions about their products. It felt like they were just trying to rush people in and out without taking the time to provide a good experience. On top of that, the product selection was underwhelming. Several items I was looking for were out of stock, and what they did have seemed overpriced compared to other dispensaries in the area. To make matters worse, the packaging on one of the products I purchased appeared tampered with, which left me feeling uneasy about the overall quality control at this location. The atmosphere inside the store wasn't great either--dim lighting, loud music, and an overall vibe that didn't feel very welcoming. I expected a more professional and inviting experience, but instead, I left feeling frustrated and unimpressed. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this place unless you're in a pinch. There are plenty of better options nearby that offer better service, selection, and value. read more

I have no idea which store I've purchased products from. One stiiizy store says the warranty is only 7 days! WHAT, are you kidding me? I'don't even know what store I purchase the pod at and I'm supposed to keep the receipt? I have 12 pods with different flavors & strains at various levels of use. I also have 4 pods that are either new or GT 3/4 full that don't work at all. When I take it to a store they ask for the receipt and when did I buy it? How am I supposed to know? Thus, we stopped in to check out what they had available. We love Harborside on Embarcadero in Oakland, but Main Street Supply is closer to home. They are located on the corner of Webster & Haight, which is about 6 blocks and within walking distance from home. Before entering premises, we have to show a valid CDL and a CID to the person in the lobby. There is also a security guard standing nearby. Photos of our CDL/CID are taken for uploading along with our telephone number into their system. This site used to be Financial Benefits Credit Union. I was able to take care of some of my transactions with them. It was also very convenient to use their ATM machine. They're gone. In its place is this cannabis club. Ambiance: Nice, clean and well lit. Merchandise items are well organized on shelves. They have edibles (gummies, brownies, etc.) and cannabis oils stored in the glass display cases. Customer service: friendly, helpful and well-informed. Professional staff. There is also a binder with an inventory list of available products for review by customers. Drawback: It's minor. Street parking can be problematic. However, there is a parking lot across the street on the Haight Street side. Tip: Do not use the parking lot during the day from about 8 AM to 2 PM on Tuesday and Saturday. Those two days are for Farmer's Market. Vendors are on Haight Street and half of the parking lot. Currently they are offering 25% off their items until the end of February. Return visit: Yes, my husband uses the Papa Barkley cannabis oil for his aching joints. I been a daily smoker for almost 40 years so my tolerance/standards are very high & it usually takes something pretty special to get me stupid doo doo dumb ass high but that Purple Punch infused OMFG !!! I was so F' n lit when you open the bag that purple grapey smell slapped you in the face and then when you looked in the bag there was beautiful frosted over nugs and huge chunks of white crystalline stuff all over the bottom of the bag. There was a good eighth of just white chunky Frosty s*** in the 7g bag. So I decided can't go wrong. I got King Louie this time and 7 g of Sherbbales . (I only smoke Black label and I've tried almost every other one they had) I also purchased a gram of pink lemonade crystalline diamonds. I forgot to mention t in one of the review they said cashiers were high off their asses and forgetting s*** or not giving correct information. I ain't gona lie my tender was high AF but I took that as a good sign and figured if he's as high he knows what's good right??? Thank God King Louie got his own leg to stand on because this s*** was not anything like what I purchased before! The birds were so small and not nearly as much frosting as the purple punch! I have past experience with King Louie and no it's fire and yes I did get high but now for the price I paid for the seven grams of infused , the ultra micro popcorn nuggets in the Sherbbles or a f****** joke and had zero effect, the crystalline diamonds had no smell and no taste , I could have bought a half zip and made my own infused creation and still have some money left over to buy munchies! I will not be back to the store ever! First of all, there is no parking. Second, the place is very empty and the sales people seem like they're selling cars. I went in because one of my eight vape cartridges was not working. They said that I only had one week to return the bad cartridge And needed a receipt. But they offer you a choice of a receipt or no receipt when you purchase your items. I chose no receipt. And paid for it. I went in one week late, so after two weeks, they would not let me return a bad vape cartridge. Not only is this the worst weed dispensary I have ever been to but it's also the worst retail store I have ever been to. They don't have a menu, the workers cannot tell you which weed is Indica, which is sativa, which has high THC, low THC... Etc. I also was not allowed to touch any of the products because Covid and therefore could not analyze them for this information myself. When I asked them how I'm supposed to buy the products they're selling if they can't tell me what they are or any information about any of them they threw up their hands and said, "Not sure". They are open during the COVID-19 and the security guard out front will ask to see your license and have you remove your mask to make sure you match the picture on your ID. Dang now I have to sadly update this awesome review and knock down more than 1/2 the rating due to the most recent interactions with the staff. Yes the deals are to die for, who doesn't want low priced THC with today's inflation? But how can I support this business when the staff is hit or miss on customer service and policy. Another time where I was looking forward to purchase, the associate kept offering items that I told him I did not want and he wasn't trying to help me at all. I told him my budget and what category I was looking for. He went well above the budget and not even what I was asking for so he clearly was just trying to get some brownie points. Well here's my constructive criticism: Make sure all staff follows policy and not just 5% of the time.
