I was gifted a 3 month membership which includes deep daily discounts and visited Harborside yesterday to put it to use. The security lady at the door was very pleasant and gave us some info regarding the store and made polite conversation. (I wish I got her name because she deserves a shout out and was very personable). The store layout is nice and visually appealing. I was able to find a lot of the higher end brands I enjoy for a variety of items (flower, tabs, pre-rolls, eddies). Our budtender was Michael. He was knowledgeable and patient and helped make our experience so much better. The store is spread out in a way that makes things less overwhelming so you can take your time while you shop. One thing that stood out for me was the snack section at the end. Might as well grab your munchies ahead of time while you are in store right? Service matters and this place exceeded my expectations. It was my first time back after some years so the parking lot was a bit confusing at first but probably gps fault. The atmosphere of this dispensary is very calm and soothing. It's clean and very well organized, I love that you're able to grab the product on your way to the register that way you are able to see it as you buy it. They have a wide variety of product and for great value, they also have product behind the counter. Me and my mother were both greeted by friendly faces and helped by knowledgeable staff. Our budtender was Michael, he was super sweet and helpful. We will definitely be back and recommend this dispensary to others. read more

Their website offers no options for medical marijuana patients to submit their verified documentation. You have to call them, then email those documents to them, and then wait for them to get back to you for verification instead. Once you are verified nothing changes on their recreational only website for online ordering. Medical patients with verified documentation are still charged the sales tax they are supposed to be exempt from even after your documents are verified. You would have to call them again to verify the price before ordering, or after you place your order to get the applicable sales tax removed and a final accurate total for your order before pickup or delivery. While the delivery was fast, after all the problems and delays getting responses back to my issues across 3 days it took to get to this point, and the poor and unprofessional communication on their side, I don't see any other way to describe this experience as not very friendly to medical marijuana patients. read more

I used to be a loyal customer to harbor side. But they have gone down completely from their butttenders to the prices to the time that they're supposed to close. This place is a complete mess. I would not come back here. Anymore, and I've been coming to harbor side for a decade. Never again, the manager Nick didn't even want to talk to me. He yelled to me from the. Register and I am at the front. Door trying to get in, and they closed early. They, for some reason, put different times that they close 9 o'clock 900pm 945pm I took a screenshot tonight of the time that it says that it is going to close at 9:45 I was there at 940. They said they closed at 9:30. I showed them that it says they close at 945, and he wanted to argue with me about it. Then, you have the female block security guard with dreads, laughing about it. Like, it's funny, I will never come here again. And I will be making a complaint against nick and the female security guard and how they cannot have the times that they are supposed to close accurately do not waste your time going here.Go to zadore, go to stizzy.Go to nug go to ohana anywhere else except harbor side.It is a complete mess.never again. read more

Excellent dispensary ! Super selection, from low to high end you will definitely find something you like in your price range and if you're all about the quality they most definitely have selection hand over fist. I make my orders on their 30% off, 40% sometime 50% off days and my favorite, spend $200.00 get your order delivered and get 40% off at the same time. Their clones are second to none, forgot about that. Their staff are really great and bend over backwards to make sure you leave with a smile and good feeling about your experience, this is my favorite store full stop. read more

I recently bought a annual subscription for 50% off for a year that is what was advertised and what I was told by the service rep helping me, so I purchased with that in mind that I would receive 50% off on week-ends for an entire year, well I was deceived, lied too and Harborside is not honoring the discount for 50% on weekends, last time I was there 3 weeks ago the manager honored then told me it would be 40% going forward. Who in the hell advertising a annual percentage of 50% on weekends to get you to buy a subscription then change the price after 6 weeks. This is deceptive advertising will be looking into this further. BEWARE of Harborside subscriptions 3months- 12 months ALL lies. Signed customer for years moved came back and they were my go too, but not any longer. I would rather not patronize and loose my $129 then continue to deal with people that use deceptive practices to get you to buy something. Ridiculous No stars but I had to select one read more

Ana the so called manager needs to be fired. I watched for my order and it never arrived. When it said it arrived, I called the Harborside asap. I was put on hold for 30min. When I called back a rude dispatch whispered i don't know what to do, and gave the phone to Ana, who refused to look into it and told me to find another dispinsary and gaslighted me and refused to do her job. I am looking for her superior to speak to as James has left. My order never arrived and she refused to have it re-delivered. read more

Banned & given no reason. The place over charges for everything. Then they tax on top. Come in with a discount (from Weedmaps) and they won't honor it. Then they won't help / hook you up with any discount after. Argue with you. Then when you walk out and don't buy, Then they ban you and the next time you come in just reject you at the door by a guard with a gun. Forget this place 100% corporate. They give people who buy weed for other people free gifts like rolling trays. For spending big. Had a guy in the parking lot GIVE me a tray and say he didn't even smoke. We exchanged numbers and it really dawned on me then, the workers don't give a shit about you unless you're spending 100s of dollars (which is easy to do) and I have. I've dropped over $1100 but they don't remember because they're baked all the time. Selection is huge. But they sell drugs w/ armed guards. So it's an easy job and easy biz. Just bad corporate culture. as corporate as it gets. read more

I've always loved shopping at Harborside in person, so this time I decided to try delivery. Yesterday, I got a call saying the delivery person was out, so they wouldn't deliver that day. Then last night I got a call from a very helpful young man who asked me to email my id again, which I did. He called me back, and said everything was good to go for today. Today, delivery scheduled between 6-9 pm, I called at 8:45 when I hadn't heard anything, They told me "sorry, we were shorthanded again today, so your delivery was cancelled". This after waiting for 3 hours. Store is awesome, delivery service could not be worse. read more

I love this place - great prices & people. I use mostly CBD products like Mary's & Papa Barkley- Harborside has a great selection for me to choose from. Plus I really like their edibles selection- I prefer micro dosing so 2, 3, & 5 mg THC is right up my alley. I wish they had more employees so that you could have more than 10 people in the store. Also I placed an order for pickup. I was going to do delivery and pay with Stronghold but the price was over $100 more than what it should have been. So I opted to drive to the store which is out of my way but for $100+ it's worth my time and gas. So I took a star off for that. read more

Use of medical cards is no longer required and the costs are the same whether you had a medicinal card or just plain old ID. That's the one thing about this legal thing that is the loser

Just what I need. Y'know how pulling money from the atm charges that extra fee? Hate that. I went to my bank's atm prior and pulled money but was a dollar short during happy hour. I was just gonna get something cheaper, no biggie, but the budtender ended up just giving me a dollar to get my stuff, and I think that was such a nice high life move. Much appreciated.

Whoever the lady with pink hair is at the front should find another role that suits her disposition, customer service is not for her. She was rude, condescending and not helpful at all. I hope this was an off day for this location because there were so many issues inside and outside of the dispensary, it was unreal. 1. Security guard was on his phone until we walked up. Security looks at our identification and directs us to the lady with the pink hair. 2. There is cleaning equipment (shopvacs or cleaning machines?) in front of the concentrates case which made it difficult to look at the items. Pink hair begins yelling across the store (which has a handful of customers now that Corporate wasn't going to allow it) The budtender was very apologetic and appeared to confused by her behavior as well. 7. Let me stress the fact that I HAVE NO PROFILE ON FILE! At this point I decided to leave without purchasing, I was disrespected and belittled and would not be paying anyone to treat me this way. A yelp search did result in one on Park Street in the Park Street Shopping District. Getting to Ivy Hill means I have to catch two AC Transit buses (51A and 33). Nothing good lasts forever. On the other hand, one of my high school classmates had a relative employed at Ivy Hill. After reading the person's review on another website, it was my time to leave. There was a change in ownership and things did not work out to the benefit of the employees who had been there for quite a while. Several of them left. In all fairness, I chose not to lower their rating to a one star, but to lower it to just okay (3 stars).

We initially didn't know there was free parking in a nearby parking structure until our friends told us, but luckily we found free street parking around the area for two hours. First impression walking in was how clean the whole place felt. I also liked that there were so many different vendors and cuisines for us all to choose from. Whether you're craving Korean Food, Japanese Food, Peruvian Food, American BBQ, Burgers, or pretty much anything else, you'll probably find something here. Honestly, a lot of the vendors caught my attention because what they offered looked really good. We also spotted a cashew based ice cream shop, which was perfect for dessert after our meal. I also liked how everything was indoors too, especially since it keeps people sheltered from the weather on hot days. Another thing I appreciated was the amount of tables and seating made available. It didn't feel stressful trying to find a place to sit, and we were here on a Sunday. As we walked through the market, I thought the layout was designed really well. The way everything was set up made the place feel a lot bigger and more spacious than it actually was. I thought that was pretty smart. I'd definitely come back to this public market again next time I'm in the area.
