My friend brought water in, and a bartender instantly came and took it from her hand. They told her that no drinks were allowed and they'd have to throw it away. My friend asked if she could put it in her car, and they said she wouldn't be allowed back in. I understand not allowing outside drinks, but there were no signs highlighting the rule, and threatening to ban someone for simply asking if she could put the drink away is too excessive. Pretty disappointing night and I'd suggest finding a different spot if you care about cleanliness and being treated respectfully.

One of the bartenders even ended up being my roommate for a time (and we would dance together in the living room). It was a hard time in my life when I first went there and I've grown and become, hopefully, a much better person just from experiencing the wonderful friends I've met. I could tell so many stories, but my point is simply this: This is THE BEST bar I have ever been to in my entire life and I cannot say enough good things about it and the people who run it, the regulars, bartenders, etc. Just genuinely awesome people. Even just the other day, a couple came in and they hadn't been there before, and we were just talking and they said "This is such a nice place." It's like Cheers. I walk in the door and end up hugging like everyone before I even get my name on the pool table (they also have a really nice pool table. I've been playing for years now as a result.) The owners Big J and Dave are awesome... I'm kind of overflowing with compliments here but it's just... it's the best place. If I had to choose what I was going to do with my night, my day, whatever, just getting out, it would be The Garage. Absolutely awesome. (I'm honestly just disappointed with myself that I didn't give them a Yelp review sooner. I cannot recommend this place enough. 5 stars just doesn't cut it).

Everything was well organized and the staff made us feel welcome right away. The food was amazing--the wings, cheese sticks, and pretzel bites were huge hits with everyone at the party. You can tell the kitchen cares about what they're putting out. Chef Angel was especially friendly and professional, and it was clear he takes pride in the food. The service was excellent too. Chris and the bartenders/servers were quick, attentive, and super friendly, even with a big group. Drinks were coming out fast and everyone felt taken care of. Overall the whole place was clean, accommodating, and just a really fun atmosphere for a birthday celebration. We had a fantastic time and will definitely be back for another night of pool, food, and drinks. Highly recommend for parties or a fun night out!

This is a large,…read morenicely-maintained pool room with assorted other games available (darts and such), a great digital jukebox system, and plenty of TV's playing sports. The decor is "industrial," but it's clean and airy, so there's no sense of being in a "dive" -- in fact, this is a family-friendly place, and I saw some youngish couples playing pool on what seemed to be afternoon dates. The physical bar is relatively small, with only about 8-12 seats, but that's because they're keeping as much space open as possible for game play. The staff was friendly and chatty, and seemed quite intent on making sure everyone had everything they needed. The menu is wider and more interesting than one would expect in a pool hall environment, with creative pizzas, burgers, sandwiches and salads promising a more unique and memorable meal than the average hangout. I opted to try the Pastrami Pizza: a traditional tomato and mozzarella pie topped with what they call "mustard fried pastrami," onions, chopped pickles, and a drizzle of yellow mustard. It's a good-sized pizza, larger than a true individual pie, and enough for 2 people to share. The pastrami was savory without being too salty, while the pickles, onions and mustard all added nice pops of flavor without feeling like a gimmick. My one disappointment was that the pizza was not prepared well-done as requested, making the crust more doughy than crisp. Also, the temperature in the venue was darn near frigid, so my pizza got cold very quickly, which reduced my ability to enjoy it as much as I would have if the pie had been piping hot. Other food being enjoyed in close proximity to me looked and smelled very good (wings and burgers), and like I said, the people were all top notch hosts. So, while the final pizza prep could use some improvement, I think these folks are doing a very good job of making bar food that's more interesting and memorable than you'll find anywhere else in the area. Plan to get here maybe 5 min earlier than planned because it'll take some time to find parking. After parking, the experience goes uphill. There are lots of tables available with plenty of space in between. I mean, you'll need common etiquette, but besides that, there are lots of tables for you to choose from. The employees are very nice about setting you up and lighting up the table that you want. They are very accommodating and flexible. There are leagues here as well if you think about making a commitment. Cost seemed appropriate for the quality of the equipment. It was about $20 an hour for a party of 2. So if you split it with a friend, that's about $20 for 2 hours of playtime. The table I used and the spare sticks available seemed to be in good condition. They also serve beer and have sports games along the edges of the shop. There are also stools and small tables available. If you feel like taking a break or not even playing pool at all, it seems like a good place to hang, catch up or watch some sports.
