I had the cheeseburger and some wings. Very yummy.

The food was great and service was decent. I did come on the 1 year anniversary party. Played virtual golf and soccer and ended the night with a round of pool. It was such a fun place also is kid friendly fyi.

Unfortunately, we didn't end up staying. I wasn't upset about not being served for 15 minutes -- I understand they were busy. The real issue was the extremely loud DJ during Sunday football. We love going out on Sundays to watch the games and actually hear the commentary, but instead we couldn't even hear ourselves talk, let alone a game. The food that came out looked amazing. The baseball and golf games looked cool. Hopefully this place schedules more people on Sunday or someone doesn't call out.

Corned beef sandwich, everything is house made.

This place is awesome. Great service and the food is phenomenal. Very nice atmosphere with lots of televisions for sports watching. They also have batting cages and golf simulators. They are having a special corned beef sandwich for St. Patrick's Day, this should be on the every day menu. You hear me Tony?

No silverware, no app plates. $24 underwhelming bacon wrapped shrimp appetizer is not worth it.

My friend and I went in a couple of weeks ago after seeing this place on IG to scope it out. Seems like a good spot to put this place, good amount of parking. Went in, greeted by the hostess who said we could look around. It was a very busy Saturday, with a cornhole tournament going on and multiple parties play the virtual golf, basketball and baseball cage. The TVs were just average size for a sports bar and they definitely hyped up how it looked in the IG reels, imo. We decided to come back another day but got a quote for the baseball cage... wow. Priced super high. There should be an affordable price point for small parties for folks who only want to do a few pitches during down time. While there, met the very nice owner who suggested the bacon wrapped shrimp, which we kept in mind for our follow up visit. Fast forward to 2/23, we decided to pay an actual sit down visit. We went to sit at the bar and asked the bartender if we could watch a specific game. He said yes but then proceeded to take his time to initiate the request, almost seemed annoyed. We placed an order for the bacon wrapped shrimp and a chicken Caesar salad, which both came out pretty fast since it wasn't very busy. The bacon wrapped shrimp was very VERY underwhelming at the price tag of $24! The bacon was not fully wrapped and falling off the shrimp and not crispy, lying on a bed of lukewarm vodka sauce, barely with any glaze on top. It would have been sooo easy to elevate this dish to match the price point but we felt truly ripped off. The Caesar salad was also a joke. The "romaine" lettuce was obviously just the bottom half of the romaine heart and was completely white/very light green, no green lettuce at all! $8 for a barely cut piece or grilled chicken plus having to ask for silverware when there's no one sitting at the bar AND there's a food runner? Really baffling to not anticipate guests needs, especially when it is slow. We didn't even finish watching our game because we were disappointed by our food ($50 for a salad and app, no drinks... hmmm). I love to support local and I hope they work out their kinks but my complaints are just restaurant basics. Probably would give it another try with a group but our experience, sadly, wasn't great.

Service was great and the salad was enormous. The Mediterranean dressing they used which I swear it has to have strawberry's in it was very delicious. Didn't think I would finish it on my own but definitely finished all of it.

First time at The Varsity Club. The place was packed for a Pokémon event. Sarah was incredible! She was running the bar like a one-woman show. Fast, friendly, calm under pressure, and somehow still making people feel welcomed while being completely slammed. It's not easy to keep that kind of composure when you're clearly carrying the weight of the room. She made our first visit a good one. What was surprising, though, was the lack of visible management support on such a busy day. When you host an event that fills the place wall to wall, you'd think leadership would be present... It's always interesting to see how businesses choose to show up for their staff. Thankfully Sarah showed up for everyone. We'll be back, and hopefully next time she'll have the backup she deserves.

We had a great birthday party The Varsity Club. It was our first time there, and the reservation and check-in process went smoothly. When we walked in, we immediately noticed that it was not only a great place to play a game, but also a great place to watch a game! There's a great bar and screens throughout. There were also so many options for activities. We had reservations for a golf bay, but we saw a race simulator, batting cages and more. We'll be back for sure.

Overpriced chicken tenders plate. Okay burger.

Before A critique, I need to say that the service was wonderful and the concept of the restaurant is so cool. The golf simulation was fun. However, food was just okay, although the ranch was absolutely delicious! I was disappointed to pay almost 19$ for a chicken tenders plate that included 3 EXTREMELY small tenders, with the remaining entree all fries. It felt like a kids meal with a ton of fries. I think there needs to be at least 5 if they are that small for the price.

Our first time here !! I didn't know this place existed ! I was invited to play bingo with a couple friends . It was a Tuesday . We got there and the person in front greeted us very nicely, he took us on a tour around the whole place . It's beautiful and fun . They have pool tables , batting cages , lots more . We sat down ordered food . Our waitress was not a friendly person . She seemed irritated when I told her she got my order wrong . Also she never came to ask us if we needs another drink . We ordered a side salad a Philly cheese steak sandwich and a couple beers . The sweet potato fries were delicious , the sandwich had no flavor . The salad was ok . Prices were pretty high The tables had little lights ! That was my favorite part !

This is kind of a new type of place. It's abpsports bar with the requisite ginormous TVs playin events, but also virtual games you play. There is baseball with real bat and ball that the batter hits into a virtual ball park, a similar game of golf and pickle ball, These are priced out at $100/hour with a half hour minimum, extra for more than 4 people. There is a basketball 1/2 court, a pool table .This appeared pretty kfriendly, for a bar. Lots of things to do. We will keep this in mind for a family adventure We were there for happy hour, I think it was a dollar or two off regular prices. We got the Margarita Pizza, very thin crust, topping a bit uneven, we have one slice with nothing but tomato sauce. I was a bit apprehensive about a ceasar salad, but they have steppped up their game. It was great except I am one of sixteen women is California who'd prefer the Salad be tossed in the kitchen, here it was on the side but the bowl was big enough to do it at the table. Enough to share. The food is a step up from bar food. It is a big airy room and can get loud.""" FOR WOMNEN ONLY: It is across from golf course. Were I a single female I might hang out here because this place is chock full of men. By themselves, with a big group. All shapes, sizes, and colors. If you can't find a guy here you like you are too darn picky. Go in to watch a game with a little bit a knowledge and you have a conversation starter.

    Bingo!

This place is great!! The workers are extremely friendly, the drinks were great and you knew there was alcohol in them. in the back room they have basketball and a lot of others games. in the front room, they have some sort of golf cage, i'm not sure exactly what it was but it's golf. Bingo was SO much fun! i highly recommend this place, you can bring the family, friends or just kick back at the bar. It's a place to enjoy and leave the troubles outside the door. Go and have some fun!! Oh the video is just one of the games they played at bingo.

Security was a joke. 1 guy on each end next to the pit looking at their phone or just standing there with folded arms. The venue was at best 1/4 filled, so it wasn't like there was a massive crowd to deal with. It got so crowded in the pit because everyone was leaving their seats and coming forward. It started to get confrontational. About 20 minutes into the headliners set, we went back 15 rows and watched the show. Hey A-holes who run this place, if you are going to have pit seats, then have your Security clear the aisles every 10 minutes to get people back to their seats. This is how professional venues operate to respect the ticketholders. But not this place, no need to pay for a front row seat. If you ever have the misfortune of going to this place, buy tix in the back row and help yourself to any seat in the place. Have been going to shows for over 40 years and this place was one of the worst ever. I want my money back!!!!

The limited hours of 9 to 12 on Saturday mornings hasn't worked for us in conjunction with other plans on the Oxnard Plain. I was glad to see that they were participating in Ventura County Farm Day, and staying open later than usual. We made it one of the definite stops we planned for the Farm Day activities. It was not what I expected. Good surprise! First, it's tucked into a neighborhood with green belts and a park, which gives a more spacious feeling than I was imagining. It's also not near any other farmland. What they do have is a number of vintage buildings, several plots where they're growing crops, some farm machinery, and more. There's a lot to take in visually. On Farm Day there was an added bonus that a gentleman was operating an old printing press, then giving away the bookmarks he made. They were literally "hot off the presses". He had a wry sense of humor, and it was fun visiting with him. We weren't able to pick up a stamp for the Passport 2 History program, as we never found the rep for the property. We were greeted by volunteers for the SEEAG group, the organization promoting Farm Day. Guess we'll have to go back to enjoy the surroundings one Saturday morning. I recommend this venue for families with kids, as there's lots to see, interesting backdrops for photos, and opportunities to talk about where food comes from, besides Ralph's!
