Adds to the bustling atmosphere. Kind of like Costco and Trader Joe's. You're always going to leave buying something you never intended to. H Mart tends to cost more than the other Asian markets and caters more towards the youth. Lotte has the cleanliness of H Mart with nearly as much ethnic goods as them, if not more in the South and Southeast Asian department. Their overall design and layout is simpler so it's easier and faster to find what you need. They have pretty consistent sales to boot. Peace and quiet, great for elders and families. Lotte remains to be the most balanced and the IDEAL in terms of shopping experience, variety, quality, and value of all of the Asian markets. Go to the back past 6pm for 30-50% off discounted prepared food. I personally find some of their items, like kimbap, to be better than H Mart's.
