I have been looking for a new hairstylist as mine chose a new career path and moved to another…read morestate. I've had her for years. I came across angle Salon call made an appointment. I had only seen this gal three times. Did a nice job but last time I went my hair was longer on one side than the other, now my hair can be deceiving it's thick. It has a natural wave to it and when I get a cut it takes a day or two to settle down after it settle down It was longer on one side than the other so I called to get in to see if I can get it fixed first of all she was booked and couldn't get me in, I didn't have to wait long now but still it was an inconvenience. I went in she fix the side asked me if it was OK I said Yep it appears to be the next day after I washed it the other side needed a little thinning out, so I contacted her and asked if I could get back in, when I read the reply, I was absolutely shocked. She told me no she told me that if she trimmed up the other side, it would end up being way too thin and I would not be happy. I know my own hair what she should've said was let's make an appointment. I'll get you in here and will check it out, that is the worst customer service I have ever experienced I didn't even know how to reply at the end of her message she told me I just want you to be happy. I told her thank you you have a nice day. I found another hairstylist and she fixed it. I was completely satisfied, this hairstylist was at another company so I called angle salon left a message cancel my appointment and said we weren't hair compatible. I am not naming her name. She knows who she is. I just want to let her know now I am happy and then I wish you the best, this behavior was 100% not acceptable.

Well she begged me to get for mom on Mother's Day so I did. $68.00 lots of money for little girl but mom is worth it. Well first appointment stylist said kid was sick night before when asked if others took Groupon she said stylists need to accept well second appointment made this time middle of the week. This time she was sick so I said b.s. make another appointment someplace else Serindipity in Belmont got my money don't tell my daughter 120.00 but treated nice got right in I'm so pist at Angles I won't step foot in and if it's just the stylist I'm withholding name I would focus her someplace else. But in my view if you want good service go someplace better.

When my pedi color (opi bubble bath) wasn't set in 3 coats, my nail tech added 3 more to my big toe. Then the unthinkable.....when putting on my sandals, we both bumped that same toe. He went back to clean up and recoat my nail. You don't always find that consistency and willingness to help. I reflected that in my tip. Pedi with sugar scrub and hot towel was $35, there was another upgraded service as well. You'll find five nail stations and five pedicure chairs. Simple setup, again great customer service experience.

This experience highlighted the importance of proper communication between the client and technician to ensure expectations are clearly understood and to provide safe, satisfactory service. I came in hoping to have my nails filled. I was greeted by Kim and then assigned to another technician. The technician did not speak English, so communication was very difficult. I asked Kim to help translate. I was told that they recommended starting over with a new set, although I did not fully understand the reason. I agreed. During the removal of my existing gel, the technician filed my nails and then used a piece of plastic to chip away the old gel. In the process, the top layer of my natural nails was also removed. I have very thin nails, and this was painful. I asked Kim to explain this to the technician, but communication remained difficult. The technician then began preparing my nails for tips. I specifically explained that I did not want tips because I cannot tolerate nail glue. I requested gel or powder instead. By that point, however, my nails had already been cut very short. Kim then took over after finishing with another client. When Kim asked what shape I wanted, I explained that I wanted a natural shape--not pointy or square. I tried several times to explain that I simply wanted the corners rounded. The communication continued to be difficult, and I felt that Kim was increasingly frustrated with me as a client. Eventually, while working on my nails, she suddenly began cutting them very short. When I questioned what she was doing, she told me she would not continue the service, that there would be no charge, and that she needed to cut off what she had done. She then told me to go somewhere else. This happened at approximately 6:55 p.m., when most other salons were already closing, leaving me with very short, damaged and painful nails and nowhere realistic to go for help that evening. I understand that communication difficulties can happen, but I expected patience, professionalism, and care--especially when I was clearly experiencing pain and trying to explain what I wanted. Unfortunately, the way this situation was handled left me very disappointed. Based on my experience, I would not return.
