My husband and I love this store! We always find something. We have a lot of pieces in our home from Still Goode. We have also consigned with them too! The only negative thing I have to say that I am disappointed in is that we had a complete set of dinnerware that we wanted to consign with them right before Christmas and a lady told us we needed to polish the entire set in order for them to display them. There was absolutely no way we we're going to polish over 50 pieces! So then, we went into the store today and see two sets for sale unpolished!! One set was actually almost identical to the one we had. From Bangkok. Very disappointing that the staff said we needed to polish the entire set and now they are displaying two sets unpolished! Left a poor taste in our mouth over this. Rules should be the same for everyone and consistent! Other then that, we love the store and most of the staff. I just wish I could remember the names of the two people that told us to polish the dinnerware but I guess it doesn't matter anymore. So now the dinnerware for sale for $450 is going to make someone some money that didn't even need to polish it! Grrrrr...that was in poor taste and not fair Still Goode. read more

We had a chance to visit StillGoode recently while we were traveling and we were incredibly impressed! We were greeted as soon as we walked in and at some point another sales person asked if we needed help (but didn't follow us around which was refreshing!) and showed me how the prices mark down over time. The selection was vast and the pricing was very reasonable. The furniture was staged nicely throughout and all of the pieces we looked at were like new. The store was super clean. Met the owner Jana who was very sweet and told me about a new app that they have, I downloaded it and you can see all of the new inventory they get in which is fun. Consignment shopping has really come a long way! My only complaint is that you aren't closer to Chicago!! Will highly recommend to anyone I know visiting the Houston area!! read more

Two experiences, one in store, one on the phone. I visited Stillgoode on a whim one day while driving by and browsed around inside. The staff was friendly, but so-so helpful. When asking about items I was interested in, they simply gave me an answer where they were standing rather than walking with me and helping me wherever the item was. Today, I called and spoke with Sarah. She identified herself as a manager. I asked her if they had any bedroom sets in stock. She asked me if I had visited the website. I told her that I had and that I wasn't very impressed with it. I continued to ask about any bedroom sets they might have and rather than answer my questions, she continued to direct me to the website. In the end, she said she didn't know if she had any bedroom sets and that if I wanted to see what they had, I should visit the website. Terrible customer service. read more

If you love consignment stores, then it doesn't get any better than Stillgoode. They always have a great selection, and fast turnover, so don't wait too long to decide, because chances are it won't be there when you return. Janna and Dennis are just the nicest people you will ever meet. They are knowledgeable and passionate about what they do, and it shows! I purchase, and consign both. I have always been very happy as a consignor because they do a great job of marketing their items. The shop is spacious, well laid out, and they do an excellent job of displaying everything. I also love it as a buyer because they have such a variety of things, fairly priced, and I just never know what I will find in there constantly changing inventory. It's rare to find a consignment place as nice as this one, and if you decide to stop in, you will definitely not be disappointed! read more

We were just in the store purchasing some small items. Another customer from out of town was being friendly and we discussed a few items. She was on her way out the door and wanted recommendations for restaurants in the area. The staff and my partner discussed some area restaurants and she mentioned she was looking for a small table. My partner actually encouraged her to buy a table in the store. She declined and he recommended looking at a local furniture store on her way back home. The older sales lady (which we overheard was one of the owners) told her associates he was tacky for making the recommendation. My partner overheard her comments and addressed it with who we believe to be the co-owner. No apology was given, he just stated it was best he didn't say anything and proceeded to complete our checkout. What a poor customer service culture! We have purchased several items over the years and even recommended this store to several neighbors. Needless to say we won't be back. Do yourself a favor and look at some the other consignment shops who will treat you with respect. read more

I am giving StillGoode three stars for a nice, well organized store. The staff, however, is not welcoming or friendly, even demonstrating a rude elitist attitude. This is the worst consignment experience I have ever had! I was willing to do business with Still Goode, and I had agreed to drop off hundreds of items for them to consign. When I orginally called they told me the only way to drop off items that week was to deilver them in a couple of hours. This was not an option, and this was due to the amount of items I needed to consign. The earliest they could schedule the next appointment was for the following week. After loading several hundred items into my van on the following week, I had called them to explain that I more than likely would be late when it came to dropping off all of my consignment goods. I had wanted to drop off a little later that day.. When I explain to the lady I was going to be late, and she started to treat me in a very rude manner, and that if I wanted to reschedule the delivery it would be 5 to 6 weeks out. Naturally, I was a little upset, and started to explained to her that Still Goode needed to be a little more flexible to accomidate my needs, and this is mainly because I had so kany items to drop off, and that there store is 1 1/2 hours from my home. Her employee then hung the phone up right in my face. I called the employee back to deterrmine if we just got disconnected, the employee explained the reason she hung up was because I talk too much, and I had called to reschedule my delivery. I explained to her if she needs to re-think how her beliefs in customer service if she believes hanging up on a customer is justified because they are calling to reschedule a consignment drop off, or taliking to much.. If this is how they treat customers before we even get our consignment items into their shop, I don't even want to know what the next issue is going to be. Take your consignments elsewhere! This company does not respect their consignees, and they 100% do not work around your schedule. If the owner reads this, don't believe anything the employee is telling you. I heard her talking to someone while I was on the phone with her, and she lied about how the conversation went with us. read more

My mom had an appointment with Still Goode's consignment shop last Monday, February 16th at 2:30 pm. She is a realtor and had to reschedule her appointment via telephone because a client needed her. She was told her appointment was changed to this past Monday, February 22nd at 10:30 am. She arrived on time for the appointment. My mom has a beautiful collection of antique hand painted trays that she wanted the consignment shop to sell for her. She also decided to bring a medium sized (at least) sixty year old Duncan Phyfe antique chair and a small antique magazine rack. My mom said she was rudely 'greeted' by a woman that snapped that she was early to her appointment. The woman said my mom was supposed to be there some time in the afternoon. My mom said that this wasn't the case that she had rescheduled her appointment with someone on the phone. The woman then snapped at my mom and said that she wasn't "allowed" to bring furniture to her appointment and would have to schedule another appointment for them to take the furniture per their policy. Totally understandable and two honest mix ups. However, my mom stated that the woman spoke down to her and was not treating her in a friendly or kind manner. I hate generalizations in reviews like this, so I will further state that her responses to my mom were hurried and annoyed, as if my mom showing up to the appointment was an inconvenience to her, even the woman admitted that the mix up on the time of the appointment was most likely Still Goode's mistake. Consigners should be treated the same way as customers with the upmost respect and goodwill. This was not the case in this situation. So the same man then took the furniture items back to my mom's car. Upon loading the chair back into the car, he hit the leg of the chair on the car and it completely split the leg of the chair. He looked at the chair and said that at least it happened on a seam and that it could be glued together. Now I would expect that after breaking a sixty plus year old piece of furniture, there would be some sort of discussion with a manager and/or owner, a sincere apology, or even an offer to try to fix what was broken. None of these attempts at retribution occurred. I understand that antiques can be delicate and these things happen! Believe me, I am not one to blame a small business owner for an honest accident, but I still feel that the situation was handled inappropriately. I would probably have never even written this review if it weren't for the arrogant and for lack of a better word, rude treatment my mother received when bringing items into this store. I have been to Still Goode's consignment shop myself and think that they have beautiful items and I love the way the store is clean and organized, but according to my mother's experience and several other reviews I've read, it is time they take a long look at the way they are treating others. read more

If I could rate this lower than 1 star I would. Horrible, rude, dishonest and belittling customer service. They misrepresented information to us and when we tried to call them on it the employees and the owner Janna only became more belligerent. This is not how you treat people especially customers/clients. We remained calm when expressing our dissatisfaction and it was only met with condescending "honey"s and rudely exclaiming "THIS CONVERSATION IS OVER" followed by Janna Sewell (one of the owners) hanging up the phone in rage. She claimed all conversations at the location are recorded on video. We agreed with her to look into these recordings to confirm what we were saying, but this was not the response she was hoping for. This is not how you run a business. I do not appreciate the disrespect on top of the misrepresentations. DO NOT SELL YOUR ITEMS HERE. This is nothing more than a pawn shop who tries to steal your items. Try EBay. read more
