Working from an attachment- and trauma-informed perspective, we help clients move through self-doubt, shame, and pain to restore their sense of well-being. Our practice is led by Dr. Daniel Bush, LPCC-S, who brings a rare combination of clinical and spiritual training. Alongside his counseling licensure, he holds a PhD in Divinity and graduate degrees in theology — making him a Christian therapist uniquely equipped for clients who want faith thoughtfully integrated into care. He is trauma-trained and draws on evidence-based methods including EMDR, Havening Techniques, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Emotionally Focused and Relational Life therapies, REBT, CBT, and existential approaches. Our practice also includes Melanie Hiler, LPCC-S, a licensed counselor and Certified Mediator who works with adults, couples, and families, with particular care for children and teens. I would be honored to walk with you toward lasting relief so you can become your best self. I've traveled my own road through trauma, difficulty, and distress, which lets me meet you with real empathy for wherever you are today. I started with a Civil Engineering degree from Michigan Tech and spent a decade as a U.S. Air Force officer before being drawn toward ministry and counseling. I hold a PhD in Divinity from the University of Aberdeen, a ThM and MDiv from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, and a Master's in Counseling from Northwestern University. I'm a LPCC with supervisory endorsement in Kentucky and Ohio, a National Certified Counselor (NCC), and certified in spiritual direction, personality disorders, and Havening Techniques. For couples, I draw on Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and Relational Life Therapy (RLT).
