And while it's not quite the same as the bar hopping, house partying, beer bonging, roomate arguing, cold pizza for breakfast days as my undergrad - I really have no complaints about the Troy center! Located on Maple between John R & Stephenson Highway, it's pretty easy to get to - just a couple miles off of I-75. Clear sign from the road, and one main entrance to get inside. It houses only a small collection of classrooms, but even if you ignored your professor emails before the first day of class, there is an electronic screen scrolling the various courses and which room they are located in. There is a large kitchen with a number of tables and chairs, a few vending machines that are always well stocked, and a refrigerator and microwave for community use. In the lobby of the building is also the "Maple Street Deli", which is a small store run by the tiniest, most delightful Asian woman. She will make a small selection of sandwiches and salads fresh for you, and also sell you any number of chips, candy, beverages, and granola bars. She'll always greet you with a smile and remind you to wash that apple you just bought before you eat it. She keeps the Maple Street Deli open even on weekends, so us folks in a Saturday class aer still able to get a quick lunch without leaving the premesis. The bathrooms are large and impeccably clean at all times. I don't know how often the cleaning staff is in there (or maybe we are just a neat and tidy group that doesn't dirty it?) but there is never so much as a paper towel on the floor or splash of water on the sink. Classrooms are set up with large tables and plush rolling desk chairs. They're not stingy with the AC, to the point that I usually make sure to bring an extra hoody or sweater to keep from being chilled. Another great asset to this center is the student work room, stocked with a handful of computers and the crown jewel - a beautiful, new copier/printer that is always fully stacked with paper, can collate AND staple as it copies...never jams or runs out of toner it seems. You may be thinking, "so? big deal - seems like something that would be standard." But ooooh no. I have spent much time in educational facilities and this is not always the case. Facilities aside, any emails I send to the folks in the student services offices here are responded to promptly - like, within the half hour. So thanks CMU Troy for making graduate degrees as convienent and pleasant as possible. (Until I think about the thousands of dollars in tuition floating out of my pocket each semester.)

I grew up in Michigan but had never visited the Adrian area or knew anything specific about the college other than it was one of a bunch of small Michigan colleges with D3 athletics. We came across the school through an athletic recruiting service. Luckily we already had a trip planned to Michigan and decided to check it out since they were starting up a varsity men's volleyball program. We visited in September and were absolutely blown away by the academic and athletic resources at this institution. I went to MSU, so by comparison this is a very tiny school, but they have been investing tens of millions over the past decade. My understanding is that their president, Dr. Jeffrey Docking, was hired 10 years ago with a comprehensive plan to transform the school from surviving to thriving. It is obvious that his plan has succeeded. They continue to invest heavily in the student experience. After visiting our son knew this was the place for him. Other schools came knocking but he knew they couldn't beat what Adrian has to offer. Our experience with the coach, admissions office, financial aid, and education department have all been stellar. We would recommend any student-athlete check out Adrian College!

It is a small, picturesque 197-acre campus perched above the Huron River that runs through Ann Arbor. The chapel has a unique pyramid design with walls of stained glass within it and an immense pipe organ that you have to see to believe. The 1960s campus resembles a park and sits in the heart of the Lutheran Synod of Michigan. Entering after the CoVID, it seems like a quiet, relaxed atmosphere on campus. I like that they consistently tie their lessons to the Lutheran Faith. The online curriculum is not perfect and allowed me to build on skills that I was already familiar with and tried to steer me towards what I needed for my career. I think with the onset of the pandemic, they like most schools were negatively affected. I am currently working towards a Master's degree here online. Make sure to look into possible scholarships and aid to save money. I am giving it 3 stars because I have always been an adult student at this school and in Wisconsin. I cannot judge extracurricular activities and athletics. They do have a strong music program and do concerts on the banks of the river at times. Very nice. From their website: The institution was originally established as Concordia Lutheran Junior College but underwent multiple name changes over time. The institution changed its name to Concordia College when it began offering four-year degree programs in 1976, and ultimately became Concordia University Ann Arbor in 2001. In July 2013, a strategic partnership between CUAA and Concordia University Wisconsin became official. Within the first years after the merger, the campus underwent major renovations and enhancements, including to residence halls, the student union, athletic fields, and the dining hall. In 2015, the university purchased a former law school building located just over two miles north of the main campus. The "North Building" now houses the campus' School of Nursing, the first fully accredited academic school opened by Concordia since its merger with CUW. Coupled with expanding academic programs and athletic offerings, enrollment reached an all-time high at Concordia University Ann Arbor during the 2017-18 academic year with a total of 1,081 students. Since 2013, CUAA's enrollment has grown more than 60 percent, and in 2017 it earned a spot among the fastest-growing private universities in the Midwest.

After all the money given to you , you're going to send out a email to the nursing students set to graduate next year and say you're folding your program. Not only did these kids bust there ass to get where they are, but they're in the mists of studying and doing clinics to now have to worry where there next semester will be. They had to take your ridiculous religion classes that does nothing for them to transfer out but to create more debt. Beyond upset parent! On top of it we found out they are cutting a bunch of sports so her boyfriend received the same email after being there for 2 years so now he has to find a college.

Eastern Michigan University was a nightmare... the worst college that was ever impacted by covid…read morebecause the teachers do not give a single crap about you unless it is a psychology teacher. All the other ones will legit let you fail if you get covid and it's all your fault when their website doesn't work All semester for you despite all the emails and the help you reached out for to the school itself and the teachers. I passed one class and that was psychology 101 with a B. All my other classes I failed due to me testing positive for covid the week before finals. I had emailed all my teachers prior about me not being able to make it that week due to covid and a lot just said get better. I emailed them the day of finals because nobody but my psychology teacher took the time to make a plan with me for my finals despite my email saying I'm not making it finals week. My speech teacher literally told me there was nothing she could do and I have to figure it out even though the final was a speech and I had already submitted the draft for it and all I needed to do was present. She did not let me record and present when I was sick with covid for my exam. My math teacher had 2 websites she used and she would never post to canvas and it would never show up even if she did. All semester I contacted her about it. The other website was on and off of about letting me submit the work. Sometimes it would go through and almost all of the time it wouldn't and would make me redo the assignment and wouldn't go through again and make me do it again. So there was no winning with the websites and I even contacted the math department about the issue because she was not helping all semester long fix the problem. Nothing got done and nothing will get done if you go here. You'll get thrown into this school and all the teachers will blame you for simple things that could of been fixed with just two clicked of a button on their side. Teaching is a two way street. You can't just expect the students to fix their own problems when theirs no help from the TEACHers. No teaching will be done unless you find a good teacher. Other than that you're on your own.
